In early February 2022, I used the JustFood website to inquire about catering a family birthday dinner I was planning. This was around 6:30 p.m. on a weeknight. Within about 15 minutes, JustFood Manager Rob Demko sent me a text not only confirming a call with him for the next day, but suggesting a few menu ideas based on some details I had included on the web form. Talk about attentive customer service! When I spoke with Rob, he asked a few questions and then walked me through a range of options for appetizers, entrees and sides, explaining how each paired with one another. And because I was having vegetarian guests along with some carnivores, I needed good options. Ultimately I ordered Eggplant Parmesan, stuffed chicken, grilled asparagus, Mac & cheese (three kids under 11), chicken fingers with BBQ sauce (kids and kids at heart), potato and onion side dish, butternut squash risotto and dinner rolls. To a person, all of us loved everything Rob recommended. Even the rolls were amazing. And my vegetarian guests wanted to know where I got the eggplant parm and Mac & cheese. But all the above aside, Rob not only delivered everything to my home with detailed heating instructions that were foolproof, he could not have been nicer or more helpful throughout. He also seemed genuinely appreciative for the order. Finally, the price was really reasonable for a complete dinner for 10 people. I will definitely place my next catering order with JustFood. Food is good but the servers need better sanitary manners. They use bare hands to wipe their noses or brush their hair and then don't wash hands or use gloves to serve your order. Not very sanitary. read more

I can't say enough about the fantastic job Rob and his crew did catering 2 boxed lunch meals, a hot lunch and a hot dinner for our recent family reunion. From the first phone call Rob was so easy to work even from 1200 miles away! All meals were delivered and set up on time including a very nice presentation. The box lunches were set out in alphabetical order! As I had to make last minute changes due to family not being able to attend, all he asked for for to let him know my number a day or two ahead. I have been visiting Just Food for at least 15 years now. Even though I now live an hour away, I always make it a priority to stop when I'm in the area. I recommend making a stop here on your way to or from Peddler's Village. The sandwiches here are amazing! The ingredients are some of the freshest I've ever had. Not too bad of a place. Had the BBQ Pork on a brioche bun. The pork was good but could have used some sauce. The roll was super fresh. My friend had the ham sandwich, bread was a bit dry but overall, not a bad sandwich. As mentioned in other reviews, it was a bit pricey, paid over $22 for two sandwiches and two iced teas. The prepared food in the counter looked good and they sell locally made groceries, such as Goodnoe's Ice Cream and a variety of sauces, dips and spreads from the Market at DelVal. Justfood (Dave) catered my wedding this past June. The catering staff were both warm and professional and we received many compliments on the food (particularly the guacamole). The wedding cake they provided (carrot cake) was both beautiful and one of the best I have ever eaten. They also went out of their way to provide us with a custom menu for our tasting and worked well with our other caterer (we had a bbq truck). Their pricing was reasonable and they went above and beyond in communicating with the table and tent vendors, making sure they were on schedule and on the same page. JustFood (aka Dave Mergen) was the caterer for our wedding at Rose Bank Winery on July 25, 2014. His food and service was top notch! All our guests enjoyed the menu he pulled together for us, and commented that the catering staff were very helpful and friendly. Dave is very down to earth and easy to chat with. He made it easy to pull together a menu that was in our price range and that was within the realm of our wedding - not too fancy, but delicious! My only complaint would be that he was sometimes slow to reply to emails... However, I know he's a busy, in demand man, so you kind of have to go with that expectation and just flow with it. Driving by and used Yelp to find me a place to eat, reviews looked good and others recommend the pulled pork. Just walking in I knew this was a find. I had the pulled pork with extra sauce, amazing! As good as BBQ in Kansas City! My friend had the big beef, the roast beef is home made (no deli meats here) they also roasted their own turkey. I'd give it more than 5 starts if I could. Where do we even start? Dave and team from JustFoods catered our wedding this past Friday at Rosebank Winery- and we couldn't have possibly been any happier with how things turned out. Throughout the wedding process, Dave was calm, gave GREAT and honest advice, was professional, funny, enjoyable to work with, and above all, made our vision for our wedding day come to life! We can't imagine what our wedding would have been like without Dave Mergen and his JustFood team. From our initial meeting with Dave, we knew we were in the absolute best hands. Dave even gave us advice on how to cut costs. Our wedding was just this past Saturday, September 7th at Rose Bank Winery in Newtown, PA, but we couldn't wait to share our positive feedback about the JustFood team. Dave has the perfect personality and temperament for his profession -- very relaxed and calm but totally on top of everything. And a great sense of humor. We wanted to have a lot of personal touches at the wedding and Dave catered to our every request. From organizing a dessert room with minimal instruction to making sure our guests had welcome refreshments, JustFood was on top of things. On top of that, the food was delicious. We are still getting rave reviews and being told it was some of the best wedding food our guests have ever had. Dave is amazing! We LOVE JustFood! Dave is the primary caterer at Rosebank Winery, and for a good reason. He did a BEAUTIFUL job! He worked so so well with our vendors. His staff is great! They we so professional and attentive. The food was sooo delicious. We did "family style" and our guests loved it.
