We stopped in the driver's terminal and it looked like a big auto repair shop all over. Cigarettes put out on the floors, gloomy lighting, and a lot of road rugged drivers. Yeah, that's not this place. The exterior building, lot, and landscape has the appeal of any corporate company. Walking into the main entrance is as equally nice. Glossy waxed floor tiles lining the hallway, leading visitors(drivers must where their badges around building) to several vending machices, nice restrooms, and to the right of those restrooms is a dinning hall for the drivers. I'm sure that the talks in the offices to the left of the restrooms aren't always swell. But the operators of Prime made sure the conditions at the terminal are not deplorable for their driving staff members.

The salon itself is absolutely beautiful, the aesthetic is so chic, and everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and welcoming. I genuinely liked the stylist as a person (Katie), and she made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the haircut itself was not what we discussed. Before the appointment, I had a consultation where I explained that my hair is difficult to cut and that I've had issues in the past with people not layering it correctly. I specifically asked for multiple blended layers, we talked through it together, and I even showed reference photos so we were on the same page. The end result looked more like harsh shelves than layers, and my hair ended up feeling butchered. I actually specifically said that I didn't want shelves. I also ended up having a lot of split and uneven ends. It was very disappointing because I had been so clear about what I wanted, and I left feeling like all of my concerns during the consultation weren't reflected in the final cut. I don't doubt that they're talented or that others have had great experiences here, and I truly appreciate how kind everyone was. But after my experience, I wasn't comfortable returning.
