I asked the person to give me an estimate on cost ect for cut color - she said that usually she does a free consult - that was it. I get there and it's taking forever bro get my hair cut like forever she telling me about everything and I'm like ok I know I have curly hair my whole life -- I asked her opinion on something but it was not like an easy conversation- this is what she does and she does recommend olaplex 3 only thing to help my hair - at this point I'm like no I used olaplex twice It made my hair soft and got rid of my curls ! She's like well it's ONLY A $19 charge ( she's doesn't get it at all- like I said no didn't work for me) wtf ?? and as she's talking about this I'm telling her my budget and she's telling me that it's a $99 haircut for curly hair the first time and I'm like OK no one told me that and she's like it's on my website well her website separate from the locations website which makes it really confusing so if you're going to see Julia for the first time and you're doing a hair consultation for curly hair be aware that the prices on her website are very different from what the lady quoted me on the phone so basically I paid $157 for four small highlights that didn't turn out the way I wanted a tiny trim and some color coverage on my roots it took 3 plus hours - and lots lots of talking and not listening to my needs or concerns - umm not saying Julia didn't do her best in just saying beaware of 99! Just for deva cut and consult - and of course express your budget ahead of time and exactly what you want - if you don't get it then? The worst part was like when she cut it I wanted the longer layer trimmed a bit more she said she do it's later and then she argued w me about it not being dry enough to cut it - once I was done ! Haha this was awful - I won't go back not my type of stylist but maybe she will work for you??

When I walked in the two women were not paying attention just talking to one another in the salon chairs. I approach the counter and greeted with a hello, then they just came up to me with a response of "What do want?" with a tone that just felt as if i did not belong. Not even a smile or a smirk at least given. I proceeded to my question which was "would it be possible to have some highlights in my hair?" One of the woman responded with "No, it is impossible. You have black hair and it thicker than most people. We can try but you'll get orange hair and we won't be responsible if your hair falls out." To which i respond (in a polite tone), "Alright, glad to know. Thank you very much." As I was about to leave, they just said "yeah," as if they were reluctant to even accept my thanks. I don't want to play the race card but I am Asian and there aren't many Asians in that area so they didn't felt the need to provide service to an outsider such as myself. A week later, i was able to order a hair dye online from a hairstyle website, and was able to get the highlights i wanted in one shot, which I was nervous because i had never done it before, but turned out great. If those women went to school for their position and weren't able to achieve a simple task that I was able to perform without the educated needed for the procedure, then I'm sure their operation of business wouldn't last long. Jacinta did a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. My whole bridal party was pleased with the great job these ladies (Keera, Jacinta, Lori, and Jessica) did. Definitely my go-to salon!
