Recently I went in for a highlight and haircut because on their booking app it was advertised to be priced around $150 for a highlight and haircut. My appointment was at 4:30 I ended up not leaving until close to 9 o'clock. now granted I do have shoulder length hair but she only did the top layer of my hair. when I got up to the counter to pay they told me my total was $280 which was absolutely shocking to me. At other "" expensive salons I paid for waxes haircut, and a full die, and it was a little more than $200. With tip, because I'm not an asshole, and did want to reward the girl for her time and effort, made my total come out to $336 for just highlight---she had forgotten about my haircut and by the time she remembered it was so late and past closing and I just wanted to go home. The next day when I called to get an explanation for why the bill with so much money, they told me they would have somebody call me back. After A subsequent three phone calls, I finally got a callback from a manager. They explain to me that the that the girl quote disregarded what was in the booking system and charged her hourly rate quote. So I said OK, but I've gotten similar services done in the past and was in and out in two hours so I think it was a little unnecessary that I was there for well over four. I asked for an explanation, and she just said that some of the artists are not as fast as the others. I told the boss that I felt like my foils were in way longer than normal because my artist was also talking to another customer. The manager or boss also did not sound too thrilled on the phone to be talking to me about the matter which was a bummer because I was very cordial and cheery on the phone. I was really disappointed by this experience because of the miscommunications and lack of clarity on their prices. I wish I would have asked more specifically when I was there. if you're looking for a place to get a quick nail appointment or a quick trim, this place is great and affordable. But any other kind of services I would consider looking elsewhere that is much more transparent about their pricing policies.

There was a sauna and steam room available for coed use - both were nice. The relaxation room had comfy leather chaise lounges and blankets - but was in an area that was a passage between front of spa and back rooms where treatments are done - making for foot traffic and noise that impacts your ability to relax. The three treatments we chose were a massage, facial and pedicure. The hot stone massage was excellent (coming from someone who has been to many spas and had many massages!). The lavender facial was also excellent. The pedicure was a miss but I appreciated the way they handled our feedback. This has the potential to be a much better spa - they have good people working there. Hopefully they read this feedback and make some investments in renovation.

They also arranged for us to have wine upon arrival. First off, no wine. When they texted us to see if we were enjoying the wine, I was like what wine? Then my sister's color turned out an almost blondish ashy brown with tons of grey showing. My Carmel highlights were only on one side and in very random spots. Back of my head a huge blondish spot. We were in shock from the whole surprise and didn't want to complain in front of my children so I called later. They set up on appt to fix that week but I had an emergency abscess that day and my sister had to work so I arranged a different day. Later that day they called and said we would have to Pay because it was after our 3 week time for touch ups, which was no way true it was only 2 weeks!! So our children wasted over $200 and I had to pay 90 with tip to get mine fixed. I went to a walk in place and the girl was just staring at it saying she had no clue what they did. "No rhyme or reason to it" were her exact words. I would never ever set foot back in there. They were rude and nasty about the whole mess but I feel bad for our children who really got ripped off.
