Even the fabricator said it was a substandard stone with a lot of repaired cracks. There are better suppliers of stone at better prices and more customer friendly.

Any reputable business would want to correct their mistake as soon as possible.

From the time we walked into Grandview with only questions and curiosity, Susana and her team gave us VIP treatment. From the design phase all the way through completion, I never had a concern or worry about timing, materials, installation, subcontractors or any other detail associated with the project. Ours was not just a simple cabinet replacement job. We needed a complete overhaul! Susana walked us through the entire design process with skill and expertise. The job included having mirrors removed (a lot of them!) a wall removed, soffit removed, ceiling replaced, complete cabinet removal and installation, island installation, granite countertop installation floor tiles, new backsplash and more. The person they used to come out and install everything ( Frank) was another issue. He did a shitty job, Suzanne fixed as much as she could and worked with us but this guy left wires in the wall that apparently was the main gfi, that eventually had to be cut out. Then he left a cut out hole in the cabinet above the microwave because he had originally installed them to far to one side and had to be removed and reinstalled and then we still have the cord to the microwave rolled up in the cabinet so you can really only use one side of it. Needless to say working with him was a headache.

I was afraid of being too rough or abrasive & ruining the counter. She sent her carpenter to my home with new pieces on Wednesday & the vanity looks like new again. After some impressive positives with Creation, I am ultimately very disappointed with the quality…read moreand follow up regarding fabrication of my kitchen quartzite countertops. This was a major job. On the positive side, Ashley, who unfortunately is no longer with the company, was phenomenal in assisting with the layout and templating of the design for both the countertops and walls. Then came the negatives: First, the initial installers were a disaster as they intended to power saw the stone right in the kitchen with almost no protection. I had to stop them, complained to Creation, and was sent their 'A' team that was excellent (cutting equipment was set up in the yard, proper coverage was installed etc.). However, once the counters were installed, the second problem arose as it became clear that the fabrication of the edges was seriously flawed. I sent pictures to Jessica, she agreed that the work was unacceptable, and to Creation's credit, they completely re-fabricated the edges at their own cost, mitering them with phenomenal matching of the veins in the quartzite. I was so impressed and grateful to Jessica for taking responsibility and curing the flawed fabrication that I had planned to use Creation for my next major bathroom renovation (Jessica and I had been selecting the stone) until I experienced the third problem. Over the past several months, I have noticed that the mitered edges are substantially chipped, and worse, that there is increasing discoloration along the edges. This discoloration shows most prominently on the tops of the counters. The counters have been installed for two years. The kitchen has had very little use as I was away for a good part of that time, and I am the only one who uses the kitchen, cooking and cleaning. I contacted Jessica, sent her photos, and assured her that no harsh cleaning products were used. She suggested that moisture may have seeped in through the mitered joints and that her workers may have to use a tool to dry it out. I also spoke with a contractor who suggested that the edges may not have been sealed properly. Unfortunately the two workers who arrived, speaking little English, indicated, as far as I could understand, that they did not know how to correct the problem. I then spoke with their supervisor who said that he would send another team. The following day I received a message from Jessica saying that the project was out of the 1 year warranty, and that Creation would not be sending a team to address the problem. To date, to my huge disappointment, the discoloration continues to spread with no further response from Creation, and therefore the 1 star rating.
