Visited on a Saturday afternoon to grab some wire and a few essentials to clear out pine needles from our rain gutters. Plenty of parking, and we entered through the garden center, which we always enjoy browsing. The staff was welcoming and quick to offer help, which we appreciated since we weren't sure where to find everything on our list. Once we found what we needed, we wandered a bit and checked out other aisles for inspiration. I've noticed Lowe's usually has more employees available to assist compared to similar big box stores, which is a plus. The store was clean, organized, and easy to navigate, but the garden center stood out. One employee was watering the plants in the sun and mentioned they looked thirsty. A small moment, but nice to see that level of care. We usually prefer to shop local for plants, but we did pick up some fertilizer here. The cashier in the garden center (wish I caught her name!) was very friendly and made checkout easy. We've also come here for paint and other home items, and service has been consistently solid. I'd come back for anything I can't find at a local nursery or hardware store. read more

Not really a big fan of Lowes as a general rule. The staff is apathetic, untrained, and doesn't have any idea what (or where) anything in their store is... But the GF ordered a curbside pickup for some weekend projects, so here I am. Unfortunately their curbside is no better. - After checking in and waiting at the designated spot for 10 minutes, I was told to drive down to lumber where everything was ready for my pickup. - Then of course they were not ready so I waited again (only 6 minutes this time) to be brought out an incomplete order. Impossible to get any assistance in this store. one kid went by wearing a Lowe's vest and when I asked for assistance he didn't stop walking and said it wasn't his department. so I stood in the main isle asking loudly if there were any employees within the sound of my voice that could assist. Finally some bitch that was in management came out to assist with a nasty attitude. After she assisted she just walked away. didn't ask if we wanted to purchase or anything. Lowes absolutely sucks, this is the 2nd time I've gotten screwed by them, i just ordered a kobalt 50pc tool kit, it arrived opened and pieces missing and the latch is broken, but they can't send a new one or replace it, they want me to call kobalt to get the pieces that are missing, the 1st time was when i bought the Kobalt big tool box and they didn't have a key for it, so they once again said i had to call Kobalt to see if they have a key, never again will i order anything from them, I'll stick with homedepo, where they actually do right by there customers, zero stars from me read more

We Visited those today as we've been doing for months for the monthly Saturday children's DIY workshop. It is always a pleasure to see Cheri who runs the group. She's very friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging, always offering great tips on how to best complete the project. We love Lowe's compared to some of the other home, improvement, mega stores in the area as it is always much more organized, and staff is eager to quickly help you. Today we were approached by Fred, who offered to help us if we needed to find anything, we had already gotten what we needed. So instead, he offered us a lollipop for our child. This was a very kind gesture. He also made us aware if we ever need quotes for in the future. This is something they can provide. The selection could be better and unfortunately, they're missing out on brands like Makita, which loses out on a lot of customers who may already be tied into makita by using the battery line at home- such as us. Items are usually priced higher here than at the competitors, however, you actually get attentive service here, which I've not found it some of the other shops in the surrounding area. So sometimes it's worth paying a little tiny bit more just for the great advice that you get from the knowledgeable employees, and the time that you save by their attentiveness. read more

Best customer service of any store - I bought a new washer and dryer. Two fine gentlemen delivered this past Sunday - the dryer wouldn't fit through my door frame so had to be returned. They were both just great. Within a day the credit receipt was confirmed by email. I will always buy my appliances at Lowes - they are the best in my book. read more

We purchased a new dryer from Lowe's and paid for delivery, installation, and the installation kit(ORDER # 300901361250219427). The new unit was a direct replacement for the exact same model we already had. When the delivery team arrived, they did not install the dryer at all. Instead, they left it on the curb and told my wife they "didn't have time" and that she would need to "deal with it," then left. This is completely unacceptable and easily the worst customer service experience I have ever had. "Too many clowns in this Circus " says this 84 year old customer. Lowe's Boynton Beach large appliance dept. cannot be trusted concerning customer service and delivery. We purchased a refrigerator and set a delivery date. However before we paid we told the sales person that Home Depot ,(our quick first stop, within 5 min drive from our home) told us that they could not deliver to our address but Lowes ( 40 minute drive) could and that is our reason for going there. Our entry staircase to the second level is narrow at a turn due to non removable handrails . The refrigerator needed to be lifted over the narrowed handrail constriction. Home Depot delivers with 2 persons and are not allowed to lift but Lowes apparently delivers as needed, with 4. At the time of purchase we spoke honestly about our situation to the salesperson, telephoned customer service while we were in the store AND called the delivery service to confirm that this delivery would happen. Disaster , lies and rudeness follow. The first delivery van had 2 men who refused to deliver as they needed 4 men. Following numerous calls by everyone involved a second delivery date was confirmed with 4 men. Days later the truck arrived with 2 and again no delivery occurred. We followed up again and have the 10 names at all levels including a rude ,so called , store manager and 6-7 other parrots. We wasted 2 days staying home for the delivery, emptied , stored and replaced contents twice and spent many hours on the phone. Because they sold us a fridge including all the extra charges and we paid for it; because they understood the site conditions at the time of sale and followed up with an additional delivery conversation; because we had a paid trades person present at each planned delivery for connections etc. we insisted that they compete the delivery. We then offered 4 men from our community landscaping staff if they dropped the fridge on our lawn and removed the old fridge ( paid for in our invoice) The cost would be $200 for their time and refunded my $150 that I paid for 2 visits for the trades person was my solution. That's when they told us to get lost and they would cancel the sale. At the time of sale a simple courteous "no " like we heard from Home Depot would have been appreciated. We would have moved on to another solution. Now 3 weeks later they refuse to honour their commitment. This type of treatment of customers starts at the top. Rudeness, denial , dishonest promises , poor internal communication, waisted time at every turn results in a poorly run company. Now I understand why their operations in Canada failed and they had to sell off all their stores to a better operator. Now I understand why they are such a poor performer compared to Home Depot. Management!!! Customer Service is nothing more than a phony front. Imagine your Father going to Lowe's on FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND and getting cursed out by the assistant store manager, TJ at Store #1111. My Dad shops at this store ALL THE TIME. Even opened a credit card with them! Yesterday he went in to return a defective item and TJ told him, "You're not returning a motherfxcking thing! This product is used." My Dad responded and said, "Why are you cursing at me? Are you okay? Yes the product broke as soon as I tried to use it." TJ continues to curse at him and eventually says to the cashier, "Give him his fxcking money back!" Run back the cameras if you need proof! My Dad was completely taken aback by this experience. He has never felt so disrespected by an establishment. Especially, a company that he has supported for decades! The cashier knew her manager was out of line. She apologized to my father and said her manager shouldn't have acted like that and it wasn't right. His blood pressure was through the roof after this incident! He was so distraught - it was an emotionally devastating experience for him. He called corporate and the representative didn't seem to really care. No questions were asked or anything. My Dad is the most amazing person and did not deserve this disgusting experience and terrible customer service. We will never shop at Lowe's again. read more

I can't really blame the store- In December we did NOT receive a bill. In January a bill arrived$50. plus$1.99 for a paper statement and $30. Late charge. We have beenowes customers for over 30 years, all the customer service folks would say is that the statement was mailed out! This is the problem when Synchrony bank takes over your stores credit card! They are money hungry. So DECEMBER--- POST OFFICE--- DUH. What really pissed me off us that Synchrony makes it sound as if I'm lieing about NOT getting the bill! NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT OR WAS LATE EVER---in any of our responsibilities. I attempted to return a kitchen faucet with a receipt that was one week old. The store manager said that it was on clearance, and if I wanted my full refund, then I needed to go back to the original store that I purchased it at...35 miles away! He was unable to override the computer system. Nowhere written in the return policy does it state that one must return an item to its original purchased store if another store has it on clearance. I recently purchased a Toto GTS 140cc RWD lawn mower which is the worst model that Toro has ever made. This unit is a mulcher rather than blowing the cutting out to the side. The mulch stays under the unit and bogs down after a few feet. The motor shuts off. Theoretically the mulching idea sounds great but in reallity does not work. The unit shuts down continually every few feet. Toro is an excellent company that produces many wonderful landscaping equipment. This model is the exception. I consider this model the absolute worst equipment Toro has to offer. read more

One of the best home improvement stores around! The store is so large and hosts. Some very unique features that other stores do not have. For example, their appliance section is larger than any store in the entire Delray, Boynton, Boca area. This is definitely the store to go to for all appliance and tool needs. They even have an updated section with some amazing furniture that is both well placed and of good quality. There's plenty of parking and staff are amazing. For example, Mer was the most helpful in resolving all of our home improvement needs going out of her way with her manager to please the customers. This was a pretty good Lowe's. The store is huge. And the parking lot is more than big enough to hold all the cars plus plus. It's easy to get to as it's just off the interstate. And they were not busy when we got there -- so no waiting to check out either. We found what we wanted easily enough. My husband used his app to locate the proper aisle. Four or so days after moving in to the new house, the dryer quit. Totally quit. We poked at it, flipped the breaker, tried a few basic repairs and had no luck. So now Dad needs a new dryer. We headed to Lowe's as our first stop because Dad thought that his military discount (10%!) would save a few bucks and yes, it did. Dad and Bonus Mom checked out a few washers and dryers (might as well replace both, right?), made their choice and had the sales rep write them up. The military discount requires online registration but the nice lady at the front was able to help bypass that and get the sale rung up though it did take a good 20 minutes for her to process it. Delivery was a cinch and they took away the old machines (probably to repair them properly, but whatever) with a professional hookup for the new ones. This particular Lowe's Home Improvement is located on the corner of Woolbright Road and Corporate Drive. It is just off of Interstate 95 and is located in a spacious parcel of land. There is plenty of parking and again, it is a very convenient location. Overall, it was a pretty positive experience. Lowe's has become my go-to store for all my home improvement projects, and my recent trip to the Boynton Beach location was a pleasant one. I needed to install a projector and required a stud finder along with some other materials. As with any hardware store, Lowe's has an extensive range of items, but sometimes finding them can be a bit challenging, even with their signs. During this visit, I asked the first sales associate for help, and they knew exactly where the items were located and directed me accordingly. However, I still couldn't find them, so I approached the next sales associate for further clarification. They were just as helpful, and thanks to their guidance, I was able to locate all the materials I needed for my project. In general, the associates at Lowe's are friendly and ready to assist. One noticeable change is the increasing number of self-checkout stations, which makes the shopping experience more efficient for those who prefer a quick in-and-out process. The price for my project items generally I find a good value. Sometimes you just have to be intuitive shopper to see what sales they have but more importantly, sometimes for example, the stud finder, somehow fancier features in others, but at the end of the day all I really need is a simplicity without all the bells and whistles. Overall, Lowe's in Boynton Beach remains my preferred choice for home improvement projects. The helpful staff and the convenience of self-checkout make it a reliable and enjoyable shopping destination. I look forward to my next visit! read more

I needed a new refrigerator as our 2017 Frigidaire refrigerator stopped working. I started shopping with Best Buy on line. I found another model and ordered it on Monday. First it was coming on Thursday, then I got an email that it would not arrive until September 20. We went to Lowe's and went to the appliance section. The fellow in charge was very helpful and knowledgeable. We made a purchase on Wednesday afternoon and the new refrigerator was delivered today. Wow! The delivery people were great. In and out in 25 minutes. Some tips: 1. Purchase a refrigerator made in the United States or Canada. Much easier to get parts and expect fewer repair issues. 2. Avoid bells and whistles. More to break or go wrong. You need to keep your food cold. The food does not need to be illuminated with theater lights. Use tape for Shabbat mode. 3. Get the extended warranty. A few electrical surges that get by the surge protector and the circuit board will be fried read more

For management to know who was working, this was experience on Saturday, 07/08/23 during the morning shift during opening. The 3 workers for curbside pick up all had negative attitudes. I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at Lowes that has left me thoroughly disappointed with their customer service. I had ordered a grill for curbside pickup, but despite waiting for half an hour, no one came to bring it out to me. Frustrated, I decided to go inside and check on my order, only to find that it wasn't busy at all, and no one was preparing my order. When I approached the employees for assistance, they made excuses claiming that the grill wouldn't fit inside my car and that it was too heavy to lift inside. It became clear to me that they simply didn't want to help move the grill. This lack of willingness to assist customers is completely unacceptable. In the end, I had no choice but to cancel my order. I strongly advise against visiting this Lowes location, as their poor customer service and lack of effort to fulfill orders are major letdowns. Save yourself the frustration and find a store that values their customers and provides the service they promise. read more

Boynton Beach, FL Lowes on Corporate Dr. Got an LP tank several months ago as the back up for my BBQ Grill. When I hooked it up, the valve was bad. Hauled the tank back to Lowes and went through the return desk. Spoke to Daniela who told me she could not help me without a receipt, and if it was more than 90 days. I was stunned as usually they just mark it as a bad valve and give me another one. When I asked for a manager she said she was a manager and the only one there, and that she should not help me. Later I called the store looking for another manager and was able to get the tank changed out immediately. I went to "big appliances sale event" problem was that almost none of the appliances that are on display are available! So I agreed to delivery option 3 weeks from the day of purchase to just in few hours receive the email that delivery date has change from 3 weeks to 3 months! This morning my daughter and i got up early to go to store 1720 to get 12 bags of pine bark large mulch chips. . We got there about 7:15 and spent about 10 minutes trying to fine a dry flat bed cart so that we would not get our suv wet and get ourselves wet. No luck, finally found a lumber type cart. thought everything was going to be ok. but we were wrong. We were looking for pine bark large mulch chips which is what we always buy, but today we could not find any. so we finally left. we wasted about 40 minutes on this trip and today, we had a lot to do around the house. I don't understand why you don't keep carts inside at night so that customers don't have to get wet. Also wonder why no stock on a popular item. I wanted to talk to a manager but my delighter was in a hurry and we had already wasted 40 minutes. I don't know if i will try again over the week end or just go to home depot.
