I was able to get an inexpensive bag of weed and feed, and lots of plants to fill my pots. The herbs are reasonably priced, fragrant, and beautiful. I can't just go to Rorabeck's without checking out their fresh fruits and vegetables. I thought the boys produce was inexpensive, but produce here is a third of the price. I have to remember to go out of my way and come here once in a while.

I shared with him our landscaping plan, and he immediately pointed out recommendations. When I started taking photos and writing notes on what he was saying, he asked if I wanted to make a video of what he was showing and saying - so convenient! And he held the phone and narrated as he walked around describing which plants do well with sun/shade, etc. I'm very happy to have a source of native plants to support the Florida ecosystem sustainably. PRICING: for the products we're sourcing, pricing was extremely reasonable. FINDING IT: The entrance isn't marked with a sign. PARKING: You must park on Ranches Rd (easy - there's no traffic) and take a very short walk through the gate. No parking inside the nursery.

Carl handled everything - put me in touch with someone to clear the grass and cut down palm trees, designed the native landscaping, brought and planted the plants. I'm delighted, several of my neighbors are thinking about similar designs, and it cost much less than I expected. Highly recommend.

Have come here to get sod occasionally over the years bot professionally and personally. The price…read morefor each piece of sod is $1.00. My place of employment used them because they had the best prices and best quality sod. I also priced at Home Depot and they wanted something like $2.00/piece for some brown wilted junk. My little car only holds a few pieces so I park at the sod pallet and run inside. The guys inside are nice and funny and they accept credit cards. They'll give you a receipt. Just stand outside with receipt in view and there is a super nice Spanish guy with an arm--sleeve who will help you out. The stuff can get pretty dirty so you can ask for a sheet of plastic/visqueen to put down in your trunk. The hours are really good - open 7-days per week and closing at 4:00pm on Sunday.

When we drove up the place it did not look all that impressive. We went into the office and what we…read moreassumed was the owner came out and did not have much to say. He pointed us to a young Hispanic woman who appeared to be overworked, but who ended up being very pleasant and knowledgeable. We told her what we were looking for in regards to types of plants and she quickly narrowed down our thoughts to three or four different options. We then went to look at the plants. They all appeared to be healthy and well cared for. The pricing was extremely Competitive. The same young lady did come over to help us load, she's absolutely amazing! We went back a week or so later for additional plants, we were happy with the quality and the pricing for sure. This time the owner was a little more talkative. We will go back again in the future, just don't let the owner make you feel like you don't need to spend your money there.

The quality of the sod is still very good, and the service was great. The cashier adhered to Covid safety guidelines. They even put a large piece of heavy paper in the back of my SUV to keep the interior clean. Nice!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I've been…read morebuying plants, rocks, and garden supplies here for a years and ignored the terrible attitudes from the nasty, tiny lady at the register...because they are close by and convenient. Big mistake. The last 5 plants I bought died shortly after purchase, and when I tried to return them as simple exchange for new ones (Home Depot would instantly without hassle help, as example) but not at this nasty business. I was treated with disrespect and insulted, with the nasty tiny woman behind counter telling us we don't know how to water plants! I won't be back of course. Stupid business equals customers leaving. If they had any brains, they would do the math of maintaining a long term client who buys thousands of dollars of product a year vs. a $50 return. There are plenty of other places that appreciate their customers and deserve my business.

I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience here. I bought a bougainvillea plant…read moreabout 6 weeks ago, and it's now completely dead--destroyed by a severe infestation of worms. This was the only plant on my balcony, so there's absolutely no way the infestation came from anywhere else but the store. To make matters worse, a friend of mine bought a similar trellis bougainvillea from this same place the same week, and guess what? Hers had worms too. This clearly points to a problem with the plants they're selling. Even more upsetting, my cat ended up getting sick after coming into contact with the worms--leading to a $400 vet bill. I brought the dead plant back in hopes they would at least take some responsibility, offer a refund, an exchange, or help nurse the plant back to health. Instead, all they did was offer a systemic treatment, and made no guarantees or effort to ensure the plant was actually healthy. This was such a disappointing and costly experience--both financially and emotionally. I won't be shopping here again, and I highly recommend others think twice before purchasing plants from here without carefully checking for pests.
