I can't express to you what a pleasure it is to deal with him. He's super honest, super personable (has stories for days), and does amazing work. I wish I could say he did some of that amazing work for me, but it's a weird story: Our annoying HOA forces us to keep appearances up with our neighbors. Everything has to be just so, and our windows needed to be energy efficient. Our windows already looked great, but I have to abide by the HOA or else. So I called up Dave to get a quote on how much it would cost to upgrade the windows. We had a great conversation, he knew the area, and the sort of job, and like I said, he was an absolute pleasure to talk to. We picked a day, and he said he'd check it out and give me a quote. After he went out there to take a look, he asked if I wanted to the good news or the bad news. The Good News: The windows were already super energy efficient. He knows because he had put them in himself for the previous tenant a few years back. What a coincidence! The Bad News: He wasn't going to make any money on this job. Which, if you're paying attention, you may realize was also really good news for me. Dave could've just straight up done the job again and made more money (as some dishonest folks would've), but instead but he got a laugh out of me, and a customer for life. I will be calling him for every window job from here on out, and I think you should too.

As with every type of appointment for construction services you normally enter into a conversation hesitant wondering who is this guy, and will he give me a good price, a good job, stand behind work, or just give me a crappy job and run with my money, never to be heard from again. We've all heard the stories. Dave arrived at my home, introduced himself and we talked at great length about our siding project, and he did a walk around the home just to evaluate the job. He came back in, did a little figuring on a piece of paper, and gave us a price on the spot. While we knew not what to expect about the cost, we were somewhat surprised as it seemed a little over what we had budgeted. We talked a little longer and he explained in great detail what was needed and what he was going to do, he explained the funding and how it would work and he left. We thanked him for his time, his explanations, and his proposal and told him we would be in touch. After Dave left my wife and I sat down and discussed the project, the cost, and the timeline, as we wanted to get the project done before September this year. You know that everyone says, "Never take the first proposal, get prices, get multiple proposals, etc". We didn't know what it was exactly, but my wife and I both felt really good about our visit with Dave and so we decided to call him back the next day and enter into a contract. Not to make this review to long, the project was scheduled and actually took place a week earlier than expected. Dave anticipated a 5 day project, and they finished up in 4 days. His guys were like busy bees, only stopping for a 30 minute lunch break each day. Very professional, knew their profession, and did not need constant oversite. Dave's supervisor on the job Louis knew the job and knew the timeline and was sure to make it happen. While Dave was on the site almost every day, I think he thinks of himself as the cleanup crew picking up and taking garbage almost every day. There was no language barrier between the workers and me, and everyone on the job was eager to please. Dave made every effort to assure that the finished project was worthy of our praise, even adding a few things not originally negotiated in the contract. While the project was not considered a large project, it had alot of intricate details that took extra time to work around. My wife and I cannot express enough our level of satisfaction with Dave and his guys. They did what they said they would do, and most likely more that we didn't even know about. Great job, great contractor, and great value for the money. The project was worth every penny spent. I see now why much of Dave's business is return customers. We would/will certainly use him again if the need arises. Not to lengthen this review longer I would only like to add, that Dave is human, he is not a robot and his speech is not rehearsed. We learned alot about his family, his dogs, etc. and we felt he was true to form, just a good guy to work with. Highly recommend. Our last phone call with them consisted of complaining that we keep getting billed for repair work that has NOT been successful, and we were told they would need to replace all 3 sliding windows, a billable service. We thought that they might be willing to repair or replace the windows at no cost this time, considering we've spent hundreds if not more for products and services BELOW STANDARD. This company installed a top of the line Owens Corning roof in October of 2024. There have been…read moreproblems ever since. I never had any issues with my old roof in the 18 years that I lived here.They told me they were the only ones in the area who could offer the platinum warranty. They, however, did not follow the rules of attic ventilation... never even entered my attic to calculate it. They also installed a ridge vent on a 2/12 slope roof, another reason that my roof warranty is now void. They have no interest in fixing the situation and leave it up to me the home owner to research possible solutions. They then constantly change the date of repair putting new jobs ahead while my attic fills with heat, condensation, and mold. My dormer has a useless ridge vent that can cause leaks and is sucking out my heat and air conditioning causing my utility bills to double. As other reviews below have stated, the owner becomes extremely defensive and nasty and will not follow through on fixing his mistakes, which is causing a lot more damage to my home other than the roof. The owner would rather argue back and forth waiting for his two year contract to come to an end instead of stepping up and doing the right thing. He sold me a warranty that my 1964 house could not meet in criteria without major remodeling. I paid over and above to have this top warranty because he sold himself as a top installer. Since 2024 he has been removed as a platinum installer by Owens Corning, which is very concerning. He now pushes the GAF product that he talked down in 2024 as being subpar. He also stalled on filing my warranty in 2024 and almost missed the 60 day window. I had to keep calling in oder for the company to file it. How many people don't follow up and now have no warranty? Currently mine is voided because he didn't follow ventilation criteria and also didn't consider my home structure. He continues to argue back and forth wasting precious time as winter approaches. Because of the lack of ventilation my roof shingles are baking, my utility bills unaffordable, and my home structure getting ruined daily. Believe the negative reviews below. Disrespect runs wild at the company towards their high paying customers who they want to be accepting of subpar work. The way they speak to paying customers is truly unbelievable... There is no professionalism and they live for the day instead of thinking of maintaining reputation... which is how one stays in business longterm. Because of the seriousness of this issue causing my home to rot from the inside and bake the shingles from the outside, I have to seek legal counsel. And the company is well aware that they own the roof until December 2026 and that I cannot have anyone else in to fix prior because Owens Cornings makes the contractor liable for the first two years. What kind of company does that? Instead of coming out and taking the ridge vent off and opening the soffits, they purposely make sure that I can't move forward. But they will be held legally to the massive damage to my roof structure and any mold inside the dormer. Owens Corning has strict ventilation rules and Home Pro never stepped foot into my attic until a few weeks ago. Now they just want new jobs and don't want to allow a day to fix my issue so I won't have problems this winter. Going back and forth with them has taken time away from my family. They can't give up one day to do a fix ... they would rather cause stress and just keep taking on new jobs. The money they will lose on reputation and legal fees won't be worth it in the end. It seems illogical. This company does not stand by their work or warranty. With the many contractors out there, don't choose this one. Believe the negative reviews you read. I went in with my wife last Saturday to look at wood door styles, and some salesman named Steve talked down to us the whole time. This is my wife's opinion as well, and she couldn't tell a Masonite door from a solid wood panel door. The showroom was a mess. A customer can't look at a door in there unless you have a salesman (or two; one would have to move doors while the other got one out) pulled doors to look at. One entrance to the "door gallery" (which looks like the main entrance, given the stand sign they put outside reading "Doors, Doors, Doors") was completely blocked by a door on a stand someone had shown to a previous client. A customer would have to go to what appears to be the back door to get in. Steve tried to exhibit a knowledge of architectural styles, but ran out after four. He tried and tried to convince us that we wanted a fiberglass door, despite the fact that we wanted solid wood and told him so from the onset. He tried to sell us a door we didn't want on the spot. Then, on our way out, he cornered my wife (we were out of the building, I was in the car already) and got our name and the name of our contractor. He went behind our back and emailed our contractor (he must have done an internet search to find them, because we DID NOT supply him the contact information) and told them we wanted a specific door that we did not want. He was clearly more concerned about the commission or the sale than he was about the actual product. We didn't realize this until Monday, when our contractor emailed us asking about a door in which we were completely not interested. Complete with a picture. This jackass tried to put a door on our dream home we didn't want or ask for. I don't care what their price point might be (we didn't even ask, so have no point of reference, but we wanted a door outside of the normal scope of stock door construction, so we'll end up paying a pretty penny), I would pay more to use even Home Depot to buy a door rather than North Jersey Door. We told our contractor such. And our interior designer. This business, which may be completely reputable, just lost a lot of business from one jackass salesman.
