My wife and I had a positive experience working with Putnam Windows…read more We had a window removed, insulation and drywall installed in the interior opening, and matching wood installed over the exterior opening. We also had two window frames enlarged with new windows installed. The work was completed on time, on budget, and professionally. Working on a home renovation project can be stressful, but when you have the right team in place, it makes a big difference. Tyler made the initial consultation very easy, which was in contrast to our experience with a big box store. The team, led by Phil the project manager, was very professional. Phil would take the time to explain things in a concise and thoughtful manner. Finally, we were impressed by how clean the guys were - they had installed floor-to-ceiling plastic sheets to prevent any dust from spreading throughout the house. We plan on using them again and we'd recommend them without hesitation.

We needed to replace the large textured glass transom above our front entry door with a clear, insulated, tempered glass panel. Also to replace the stripe etched glass shower doors in our very small master bathroom w/a clear semi-frameless clear glass version which made this small bathroom visually larger. Meg is the contact person for this company and she maintained contact with every step of the way from scheduling an in-home estimate, processing the down payment and when the order came in to the scheduled installation, which was sooner than I expected. The two guys who did the installation were very pleasant, professional and totally cleaned up each area. Highly recommended!!

I had second thoughts about installing a mirror with adhesive after reading a prior review, but…read moreafter comparing the reviews of other local companies, I decided to meet with Brandon & see what could be done. He was very professional and he addressed all my concerns. (I had lighting pulled through the mirror & a frame built around it to help keep it in place for a ridiculously long time; I plan to be in my home for the foreseeable future & am not worried one bit.) They fabricated & installed a mirror to fit the space perfectly. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding regarding the lighting I had planned, and -- being overwhelmed with other home improvement projects at the time -- I didn't take the time to review the order well enough to catch the error. Still, they redid the work at no cost to me. I'm grateful for their professionalism and timely delivery. The work was done just before the holidays; I had out of town guests coming, and it seemed to be a pretty busy time for the company too, but they made it all work out despite the initial hiccup. They are good people who stand by their work. I had another custom mirror installed by a different company at the same time (yeah, it was a crazy time & I was determined to get it all done at once), and Mirage's work was superior. No glue showing, seamless installation, more reasonable pricing too.
