I get comped work dinners/lunch from here all the time. Solid salads, but wouldn't order it on my own. Very filling - Build your own salad: 8/10 - Winter harvest salad w/ lemon basil vinaigrette: 7/10, wish it had more sweet potatoes - Thai chicken crunch signature wrap: 6/10, meh. I liked the peanut sauce, but by itself, there's like no flavor read more

Just Salad - 100 Maiden Lane, NYC This location is my go-to for fresh, customizable salads in the Financial District. I usually go for the Build Your Own Salad (around $11.89)--it's fun to mix and match ingredients and get exactly what I'm craving. But when I feel like switching it up, their Crispy Chicken Poblano (~$14.99) and Balsamic Chicken Avocado (~$15.89) are solid picks with bold flavors. Yes, the lunch rush can get intense, but the staff here is incredibly efficient and friendly. They keep the line moving fast, and they somehow manage to stay upbeat and welcoming even when it's packed. Big shoutout to the team for making the experience smooth every time. The space is clean, well-organized, and perfect for a quick healthy bite. Whether you're customizing your greens or trying one of their featured bowls, this Maiden Lane spot never disappoints. read more

I've enjoyed Just Salad for years, but the recurring issue of missing chicken from my orders has been very disappointing. This has happened at multiple locations, and having to check every order before leaving defeats the purpose of ordering for convenience. Customer service was also unwilling to provide a partial refund for the missing item. I hope Just Salad improves its quality control and handles these situations more fairly. read more

My colleague really likes going to Just Salad as a healthier food option. For lunch during my work visit in NYC, we ordered at Just Salad several times. Just Salad has a wide range of options from salads, warm bowls, wraps, avocado toast, smoothies, and much more! Looking over their menu, I decided to order the Honey Crispy Chicken Wrap. Ingredients in the Honey Crispy Chicken Wrap included the following Baby Spinach, Extra Crisp Romaine, Shredded Cabbage, Crispy Onions, Regenerative Organic Quinoa, Roasted Corn, Sliced Carrots, Crispy Chicken, Crumbled Feta. I asked for no mustard. The wrap was delicious! It certainly had a lot of the extra crisp romaine, but it was really good. I was surprised at how filling the wrap was with all of the ingredients included in it. All of the vegetables tasted fresh and crisp. This is a quick service restaurant and the pricing is relatively inexpensive! I would order the honey crispy chicken wrap again from Just Salad! read more

I decided to order in-store instead of online since I was nearby and ended up getting charged $3 extra for the exact same order. When I asked why, the cashier said it was because I didn't say the word "warm" when asking for a custom bowl despite there being 0 difference in the preparation or ingredients. A $14 salad became $17 for no reason...huh? To be fair the person who made my salad offered to remake it, but I didn't think it was worth holding everyone up over $3. Still ridiculous though - I will not be coming back! read more

There are many salad places in FiDi here in NY but i like going to both Just Salad places for lunch and have not been disappointed. They have many variations of salads, but I tend to order their specialty bowls like the Backyard BBQ with kale. The ingredients are fresh and crisp. Both locations are clean and the staff are attentive. I just wish they would smile more. The price is reasonable and the salads are good. I guess that's what matters, in fact, I will go there again tomorrow. read more

Exactly what you'd expect from a Just Salad. They have pre-curated bowls and then an option to build yourself. I appreciated that the pre-curated ones had calories and protein written on the menu which further helped decision making. I ordered "light" dressing which is usually enough at other local salad spots but was legitimately light here. Not a bad thing, but something to keep in mind depending on your preference! read more

Had a good experience here as a tourist. We'd been on the go all day and this location was close to our hotel. There were no other customers inside as it was the weekend. I ordered the Thai Chicken Crunch and it was very good! All of the ingredients tasted very fresh, the peanut dressing was very good, and overall made me wish Just Salad was near my office at home. read more

So I ordered two salads/warm bowls: cilantro chicken and chicken with goat cheese. Both sounded delicious upon ordering. I can say, unless I know for a fact something will change with this location, I will never order from here again. The order was on a sunday afternoon, maybe 2-3 people in the place. The staff was unresponsive to us waiting for pick ups, so it just started off bad. Eventually, I was unable to wait for my missing items and had to leave, grabbed my pick up orders and left. Once I arrived home, I opened the salads, to find the smallest salads, with what appeared to be old/stale ingredients. It was really awful, if you run out of stuff then take it off the menu or offer something else. price- way to steep for what you get. ambience inside- dirty, trash was piled up, counters dirty, nobody cared. staff- uninterested, aloof, ignoring most people. I had high hopes for this place, because of it's convenience and price point, but i'll stick with sweet green now and so should you. read more

I ordered twice on Uber eats and the chicken avocado salad was good. The chicken didn't have much flavor but with the balsamic dressing it wasn't needed. It was light on the avocado but a healthy option when I didn't feel like leaving my hotel. read more

Excellent salads. This location is new and conveniently located across the street from where I work. I've gotten some of the custom salads before and they were very good but lately I've been obsessed with the Caesar salad. The combination of ingredients is fresh and flavorful. I will say they could put more chicken in it for the price and size. I end up paying extra for more chicken but it's worth it. I ended up buying the reusable bowl which gets you a free item every time you use it. They have many other options for salads, as well as wraps , smoothies, etc. They are expensive but on par with what's in the area. Definitely a great option for the area. read more

Asked for light/medium dressing and this was sauced up! Way too wet, almost mushy even. Kinda disappointing because I'd been really craving this salad for a hot minute. I frequently go to to Just Salad for lunch at this location and the dining area is always nice & spacious and clean. They even have a nice outdoor seating area. The food is always fresh and you don't have to wait long before someone pleasantly asks you if you need help. Today I was helped by a friendly, welcoming smiling face. I learned later that his name was Orriun when I asked. He was very pleasant as usual (he helped me before) and he fixed my salad to my specifications and suggested the perfect salad dressing to accompany my salad. I just wanted to write a quick review to recommend this location and to praise Orriun for the excellent customer service he provided while I was there. Hopefully this doesn't go unnoticed by his managers. Kudo's to him & Keep up the Great Work Orriun. Thank you. Mia ` read more

Just Salad makes the best salad in town, no question. Better portions than SG, fresh ingredients, more choice, faster service etc. This store is no different, I have frequented it dozens of times during lunch & dinner rush hours. I would love to give 5 stars, however they have been taking off some menu items that I have really enjoyed, from Shawarma chicken to crispy onions. Now today they stopped their loyalty program and I am no longer getting the $9 for $99 spent which I believe is a fair deal. Quite unfortunate, especially since I was just $4 away from my next $9 discount. In either way - I wanted to shoutout the manager Samantha who explained the loyalty app situation to me and was kind enough to make it right as much as she could. Service here is generally friendly and efficient, but chatting a bit with Samantha made the experience significantly better! read more

Salad spots in NYC are all over the place. This is especially the case in the ultra-competitive FiDi area. Just Salad has multiple locations in the neighborhood and my wife and I walked in to the Maiden Ln location. It was almost closing but the staff were still very attentive and had a joy about them. I felt very welcome. I was using a couple of free salad vouchers and the manager was very accommodating and did not give me a hard time at all. I had the Chicken Fajita warm salad. It was a great mix of a variety of flavors, natural sweetness from caramelized onions, a good-sized piece of chicken thigh, really yummy avocado mash. It was really delicious. The team member suggested I add cilantro sauce and it was a great call. It really tid things together. My wife had the cilantro sauce chicken and she said it was also fantastic. Great service and excellent grub. That's all you can ask for. read more

I don't typically review chain restaurants, but I needed to leave a review for this one! Staff is amazing, quick and efficient and salad is always fresh and yummy! Best fast causal salad spot in the area. Large portions and cheaper then competitors! read more

Just Salad offers a wide range of items. It would be wise to build your salad online beforehand to check out the nutrition facts. I purchased a salad thinking I was eating healthy only to find out afterward that it had over 1,000 milligrams of sodium! Easily the worst just salad location. I try not to judge fast casual spots because I know they can get busy, but this was horrible from start to finish. When I first walked in, there was no one there and a ton of staff just standing in the corner talking and it took forever for someone to come help me. Then more people came and the manager told people to step up and it took a while for them to be helped as well, to the point that the woman behind me complained. Creating my salad was also complicated. The woman helping me didn't seem to know where things were and kept having to ask for help. I also got a slip (which the person checking me out seemed frustrated that I asked for), and it was not even filled remotely to the top (and was charged $4 for this!). The cashier also didn't put silverware / napkins in the bag, and when I asked for some she got aggressive with me that they were already in the bag, to the point she grabbed the bag from me and checked herself before giving a fork Moral of the story, don't go here. So many other lunch spots in the area that are worth your time and money read more

Ordered from here on Seamless. Delivery was prompt. Pumpkin soup was really good. My main issue is that the chicken in my salad was grey and inedible. Really bad. The kale and other vegetables seemed fresh and the tzatzeki dressing was fun. It was $18 for a small salad, soup and tip. They have salads you can build yourself or recommended salads. read more

TOO MUCH DRESSING! I asked the person adding my dressing for light buffalo. She gave a huge squirt and then shrugged and started mixing when I said "whoa, whoa, whoa!" A casualty of the chopped-salad wars, but deservedly so because the ingredient quality just doesn't compare to Sweetgreen. Chicken is rubbery and nothing is as fresh. It's a few dollars cheaper but a big step down. There's a reason there's never a line outside anymore. read more

I came here around 5 pm because I had to work late and was starving. Place was empty; I imagine it's busy at lunch time. I'm giving 2 stars for the really nice guy who made my wrap. I got the tandoori fire without the pita chips and he suggested I pick another side to replace it. The place also looks very clean. However as I was taking a picture to put on yelp I was told "You can't take pictures in here! What are you taking a picture of anyway bowls?" by another staff member. I don't see why pictures aren't allowed but if that's the policy I could have been asked not to in a polite manner. I was disappointed when I got back to my office at how bland the wrap was! The tandoori red hot chicken had barely any flavor at all. I don't think I'll be back given all the other options in the area. read more

After my last near death experience. The manager reached out to me and apologized for the surprise walnuts in the salad. They offered me another chance to try it again. This time I order a wrap. The California wrap. I also asked if they could leave out the sliced almonds and substitute it with cucumbers. Needless to say, it was really good. They also have a Grown Up Soda (GUS) the grapefruit tastes very good. I am glad that the manager reached out. I probably would have not tried it again. read more

Much like Chop't, they do have the create your own salad and take care to be environmentally friendly with their ingredients. Bonus points for the opportunity to get a discount with the reusable bowl. I went to this one during the lunch rush. Pricing is about the same as Chop't but they were quite efficient and I got through faster than I thought I would. Some of the chicken pieces weren't as good as I'd have liked but overall, a decent place to go and a fair portion size. If I could afford it, I would probably go here regularly since the food was good and the salad was light but filling. read more

Just Salad is Great! Another good thing about Just Salad is that they are very environment friendly from using the recycling bowl, to the wooden forks that offer for reuse. The salad is always fresh and the selection of toppings are the best. My favorite is walnuts/corn/boiled egg/spinach/cranberries/carrots I always love to mix it up too.
