Just Salad has stepped up their game in the past few years and it shows! Previously Sweetgreen was on the top of the salad food chain and Just Salad was kinda similar to Chopt, though recently from my pov JS has caught up and surpassed Chopt in menu variety and flavor combinations. They're set up similarly to other fast casual bowl restaurants where the counter has a few stations where staff can choose the relevant ingredients and dressing for each salad then toss everything together. You can customize your salad by checking or unchecking ingredients on a little paper slip they pass during peak lunch rush times, or informing the counter staff directly during off-peak hours. This store has about 25ish seats at booths and a couple tables. A take out/pick up order shelf is located to the left of the entrance when you come in. My interactions with the staff have been brief though efficient and pleasant. I've gotten salads a few times from here recently and enjoyed them, tried: - Southwest Crunch salad $14.69: which comes with romaine lettuce, cabbage, kale, tortillas chip pieces, pickled onions, roasted corn, grape tomatoes, Tajin spiced pumpkin seeds, Impossible chicken pieces and a store-made cilantro lime vinaigrette. If nothing maybe the impossible chicken was a bit soft for my preference though quite filling. - Thai Chicken Crunch $13.99: which comes with shredded romaine lettuce and cabbage, crunchy deep-fried wonton strips, cilantro, sliced carrots and cucumbers, oven roasted chicken, a lime wedge and Thai peanut dressing. - Classic Chicken Caesar $12.99: which comes with shredded romaine lettuce and kale, garlic butter croutons, oven roasted chicken, parmesan cheese, in-store-made creamy Caesar dressing, a lemon wedge so you can squeeze some fresh lemon juice for a brighter acidity. Just Salad is one of my favorite places to get lunch in the New York City Financial District. I had a chance to go to one of their newest locations on Broad street right next to the Dunkin Donuts. I ended up stopping by Just Salad on a Thursday afternoon, around 1:00 P.M. There was a short line to wait before placing your order. Just Salad offers a few different options Salads Market Plates Warm Bowls Wraps Smoothies. I ended up selecting their Honey Crispy Chicken Wrap. The wrap included Romaine, Spinach, Shredded Cabbage, Quinoa, Roasted Corn, Crispy Onions, Feta, and sliced carrots. I omitted the onions, sauce, and requested extra feta cheese! The team member built the burrito, wrapped it in a bag. I then went to a different section in the restaurant to pay for it. I also ended up picking up a can of pink lemonade from Just Salad. The service was fantastic at Just Salad! The team members I spoke to were helpful and friendly! My wrap was delicious!! All of the ingredients were fresh! The romaine lettuce was crisp! The chicken was flavorful! All of the ingredients was scrumptious! This is one of my favorite wraps to get while I'm visiting New York City in the Financial district! The pink lemonade was different. I'm been ordering just salad for more than 10 years (at other locations) although I do miss the spicy avocado dressing and that they used to take a circular knife and chop it right in front of you.. the sauces are outta this world and the ingredients are fresh and I feel good after eating it. Sometimes I just want a salad and they simply are great at making salad. In my opinion they have the most topping options in comparison to other shop that offer salads. It's a chain, there's a bunch around the city. I recommend ordering online for pickup, they have an app. My food was prepared in the time frame they gave me. I tried the chicken caesar salad, it came with a mix of kale and romaine, homemade dressing, croutons, and shaved parm cheese. On the app it lists the ingredients and you can make customizations. It also list the calories, etc. The salad was $10.99. It is a few bucks cheaper that Chop't. Chop't is also a chain where you can build salads, etc. The price was decent and didn't break bank. The salad was filling but if you are super hungry then prob not. I would come back to try other items. read more

Apparently it's a chain that has a few locations and this one is closest to my office in downtown. I ordered through ritual during non peak hour so I got the salad right when I arrived. I made some slight customization to the Thai chicken crunch salad. I added some roasted turkey and shaved parm. I also got kale instead of romaine lettuce. Since I ordered the dressing to be mixed in rather than on the side, I couldn't really tell whether they are chicken or the turkey that I paid additionally for. They were cut to pretty small cubes. But almost every bite of veggies I got some protein so I guess they must have added the additional turkey. The veggies overall is fresh. The sauce enhances the taste of the whole salad. I used to go to sweetgreens but switched to Just Salad for about a million reasons, and I'm glad I did! They're efficient, and whether you use the app or go through the line, you won't get all frustrated, like, "why is this taking so long??" because it never does, even when there's a line out the door! Their food is always fresh, and there's really no bad ingredients - everything is good, so go ahead and get crazy with it! But the thing that really sets them apart is the staff. Just Salad has some of the best salad options are good prices. I love to customize my own salad where you can choose from a variety of bases and add any toppings of your choice as well as meats. They have fresh ingredients and tasty meat options! I like their chicken barbacoa and chicken shawarma, both of which are seasoned well and not dry. They also have a great spicy avocado mash that really brightens the entire salad. It's definitely a big and filling bowl as well. I've always had a good experience ordering from this location, but was severely let down today with my order. I'm a vegetarian and ordered a bowl with tofu instead of chicken. Finally, I was able to grab lunch here considering I work a block away. They are well known for their salad in FIDI and you can tell by the length of the line during lunch. They are located by the Dunkin Donuts on broad street and can be easily missed if you don't pay attention to the sign. However, the inside is quite big with enough seatings and its relatively on the hip side. I'm now a loyal and dedicated buffalo salad eater. They are quite affordable for the location and their salad is filling for sure. read more

Don't expect to get what you ordered online from the Just Salad Flatiron(Park Ave South). I order the same salad with same ingredients every weekday. At least 4 times out of 5 the Salad is incomplete. Of the 11 items I selected and paid for today 7 were missing. I have a standing note on the order instructions about missing items but it does no good since they continue to omit them, I suggest that "Just Salad" consider changing their name to "Just lettuce" because that's all you get regardless of what you pay for. And BTW try and get a refund or adjustment from an incomplete order. read more

I went to another spot in the area with amazing salads and they were closed, so I came across the street to just salads. I was confident this would be a phenomenal salad. Well, I was wrong. I finally had a chance to pop in here (I work literally right here so I don't know what took me so long) and was not disappointed. This location is a million times better than the Maiden Lane location that those of us that are FiDi-based had to struggle with prior to this location finally opening. The inside is clean to almost the point of being sterile. The manager was walking around and wished me happy holidays as I was leaving. The staff puts a lot of pride into their work and do not chop, add dressing, etc. until they get the okay from you first. Overall, this is a great location and since I love salad, I look forward to visiting it a lot more often. read more

Stunningly incompetent. I called to cancel an order, and they told me the driver was already out the door and will be there in five minutes. Feeling bad, I said I'll wait. 20 minutes later, I called again. They assured me he was one avenue away and would be there in less than five minutes. 15 minutes after that, I called again asking to finally give me a refund. They told me they'll transfer me to seamless, and transfered to an insurance company customer service line. Finally called again and was explained that I could get a coupon. I been working down in the Financial District for several years now, and Just Salad is one of the mainstays of my lunchtime routine. I order 3-4 times a week, which translates into hundreds of visits over the years. The consistency of both the quality of the food/ingredients and the service is as high as any comparable restaurant I frequent. For reference, I always order ahead using the app, and have not had any issues with my orders. I would also like to commend the staff working during the pandemic. I am one of the few working in the office, and Just Salad is still the place I order from the most. Despite the overall uneasy atmosphere, the staff continues to be upbeat, friendly and accommodating. One recommendation, pre-pandemic, this outlet is one of the few salad places in the area and it used to get slammed during lunch. Walked into store with a full bottle of poland spring and ordered a caesar salad. When I was handed my receipt the cashier Asia had charged me an additional $1.79 for sparkling water. I pointed out her mistake and she called over the manager, Jocelyn. Jocelyn then handed me another receipt for the cost of the salad. I asked for the receipt of the refund and she told me I didn't need one. When I returned to my office I saw that my card had been charged twice instead of the original charge being refunded. I called the store to ask for the refund again and was told I had to return in person. I sent two emails to Just Salad and tweeted at them and have received no response.
