This is just like CAVA in OC and LA so if you're in NY and craving something healthy, this is your go-to. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained. The prices are similar to CAVA as well and very reasonable.

The food looked good and tasted fine at first, but partway through my bowl, I found a piece of plastic in it. Definitely not what you want to see when you're eating. I get that mistakes happen, but this felt pretty careless, especially for a place that's supposed to be all about fresh, quality food. Kinda ruined the whole meal for me, and honestly makes me nervous to order again. Hoping this was a one-off, but wanted to share so others are aware.

This spot is A1! The customer service is immaculate. Serviced by Ashley, Claudia, and Juan! All amazing!! We all laughed and the ambiance was great, and the food is excellent!!!!!! Highly recommended. :)

CAVA but for lebanese / middle eastern food (~$14 for a custom bowl). The beef was better than the chicken kebab (a little dry). The baba ghanoush and flatbread were the stars of the show: the former was smoky and creamy while the latter was so chewy and yeasty, just like a foccacia. Garlic whip and the green pickles were a close second: the whip was surprisingly light, creamy, and refreshing while the pickles provided crunch and sourness.

I can't believe it took me this long to try naya but this place is absolutely delicious. Forget Chipotle, these Mediterranean fast food restaurants are definitely the way to go. Incredible flavors! The garlic whip is to die for. Go and try it

Absolutely one of the best assembly-line chain restaurants in NYC. Naya has amazingly delicious Middle Eastern food and countless options to choose from. If I can compare them to anywhere, they are almost like the Middle Eastern counterpart to Chipotle - but, dare I say, actually better tasting!! I've only been to Naya a few times as of now, but each meal has been more delicious than the previous. The main entrees here are the Naya Roll, Naya Bowl or Naya Salad. For their rolls, they have a menu of items with already hand-picked ingredients, but if you're feeling more "adventurous" you can build your own roll, bowl or salad. Every time I've eaten from here, I've gone the custom route and, honestly, there isn't much difficulty to the ordering process. As with most assembly-line restaurants, you first have to pick your base, then you choose your protein and you finish it off with your toppings. Viola. That's it. Of course, the ingredients will be comprised of Middle Eastern ingredients and they are all DELICIOUS. Personally, I always love getting the bowl and it is ridiculously filling. For the bowl, first, you have to choose between Vermicelli Rice or Freekah (if you don't know what Freekah is definitely google it.) Next, you have a number of proteins to choose from. You cannot go wrong with the Chicken Shawarma or Falafel here. Lastly, you choose your toppings, and there are PLENTY to choose from. If you're not sure which one to choose - well, you can choose them all at no additional cost! That is all there is to it. Also, don't forget to ask for your free pita too. As for this location, the employees have always been friendly and I've never had a complaint or seen a reason to complain. The food is awesome and I wouldn't expect anything less from any other location either.

The food was great, and I love the team members; they were very friendly at the restaurant.

It was a little hard to hear and converse at times as it gets crowded, but the food was delicious and there are really unique items on the menu. Food: The duck shawarma was one of our favorites! The lamb and scallops were also flavorful and tender. The dips were delicious with the pita, but I wish the serving size for the dips were bigger. The fries were great - well seasoned! Also recommend the milky pudding, it was a nice refreshing way to end the dinner. The seating area is fairly small, which surprised me. We ordered the crispy garlic rice, the Piri Piri chicken sandwich, and the famous knefeh and chicken pancake. The server was so nice, she offered us a sample of the seasonal lemonade, which had rose water and turmeric. It did take a little bit of time for all the food to come out. We chit-chatted while we shared the garlic rice (a little crunchy, very mild) and the chicken sandwich. The PiriPiri sandwich came with a huge piece of fried chicken that was spiced and fried well. The chicken was juicy and not super dry. The little bit of pickled cabbage helped keep things from becoming too greasy. After a bit of wait, the pancake was served. It was such a fun experience with the crunchy kadayif noodles and the cheese hidden underneath a super fluffy pancake. The salty and cheesy flavors of the pancake went well with the rose maple syrup. The spice from the chicken added another note to the dish that made it such a great combo of flavor. I could not stop picking at this huge pancake. It's definitely meant to be eaten by at least two, if not three. If we had known, we probably wouldn't have ordered the other chicken sandwich. Overall the contrast in the chicken and knafeh pancake alone was enough to want me to visit again. The textural crunch, the melted pull of the cheese, the sweet syrup against salty and spicy flavors of the chicken. Not only was the whole presentation beautiful, but the dish itself tasted amazing. I would visit Hen House again for the experience.

The fig hummus is something special. Smooth, perfectly balanced with tahini, and unlike anything I've had before. My brother called it the best hummus he's ever had, and honestly I licked the plate clean! The falafel plate deserves its own moment. Warm, crispy on the outside, perfectly moist on the inside, and just the right amount of richness. Paired with the sauce, fresh salad, and rice, it was easily one of the most memorable meals I've had this year. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully put together. Truly some of the best falafel I've ever had. What really took the experience to another level was the service. After we paid, our waitress noticed I had blisters from breaking in new shoes and brought me two bandaids without me even asking. That kind of attention to detail is rare, if I could give 6 stars I would! They are also incredibly accommodating with dietary needs. When the waitress heard my brother was gluten free, she immediately brought out a new plate with double salad instead of rice. Fattoush goes above and beyond in every way. An unforgettable meal and experience. I cannot recommend it enough. I will absolutely be back to try more. Also a beautiful & quiet place to sit with friends or family.
