Solid casual dining option and I would recommend for an easy, healthy and filling lunch! Located in the basement of an office building along with a handful of other fast casual restaurants like Chipotle, Chopt, Inday, Maki Maki, Playa Bowls and Brasa Peruvian Kitchen--Naya is a delicious choice to add to a lunch rotation. In the past several years they've expanded their presence around Manhattan and their success lies in providing consistently tasty Lebanese-inspired, Middle Eastern/Mediterranean style dishes in an easily understandable bowl format. While not my first time trying Naya, this was the first time I've ordered from this location and I was happy overall with the food I got! The cucumber tomato salad was on point, the pickled red cabbage was briny in a good way, the hummus and baba ghanoush were creamy and flavorful. The falafel unfortunately were on the denser, drier side though not completely inedible, I had to take a bite of it with other items. Portion-wise the bowl was enough for a meal and a half for me. The staff was helpful at this location, I ordered online then when I came to pick up I was a little early and didn't see my order on the pick up shelves. They asked me for my info to follow up with the prep (and initially there was some confusion as to whether they had received my order though it was sorted out expediently) and the staff passed my food directly to me once it was ready. read more

Looking for dining locations open around 6:30 P.M in the financial district on a Monday evening, NAYA was one of the first restaurants that popped up on my Yelp search. This NAYA express is located in 1 New York Plaza. The current hours of operation are the following Monday - Thursday: 10:30 A.M - 8:00 P.M Friday: 10:30 A.M - 5:00 P.M Saturday and Sunday: Closed NAYA offers middle eastern flavors. You can create your own bowl, wrap, or salad! It's all custom build and all of the ingredients are fresh! You can choose your own base between rice, quinoa, lettuce, green, or a wrap. I ended up choosing build my own bowl, with a vermicelli rice base. For proteins, I ended up choosing the chicken kebab, but you could also choose chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, lamb, falafel, or even cauliflower! The other ingredients I added was hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, and extra feta cheese! Pita bread was offered as a side too! Bags and utensils were provided to go. The service was quick and easy! I was the only customer inside NAYA at the time. There was plenty of table seating inside the restaurant though! My hotel was located right next to NAYA! The chicken kebab was soooo yummy!! It was perfectly grilled and had just the right amount of char on the chicken! It was also super tender too! The hummus was a great addition with the rice! The feta cheese blended well with the cucumbers and tomatoes! I ended up eating at this location twice while I was staying for the week at New York City for work! The food was great and inexpensive too! read more

This is just like CAVA in OC and LA so if you're in NY and craving something healthy, this is your go-to. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained. The prices are similar to CAVA as well and very reasonable. read more

I feel so fortunate that Naya is within walking distance and is easily my go-to neighborhood spot if I'm too tired to cook. They serve fresh Mediterranean food with abundant proteins options and give generous portions as well. I also found out they give 15% off the first responders so that's also another plus! The workers here are friendly as well - including Kevin And Audy. I heard lunch time can get very busy so if you stop by, don't be surprised if you see a long line. read more

Naya was just........ OK. My boyfriend and I were looking for a healthier, fast food place to buy dinner before our train back to Albany. We came across NAYA and decided this was the best option of all the restaurants we were considering. NAYA's concept is not unlike Chipotle's or CAVA's. You select your meal of choice (bowl, salad, or wrap), then customize ingredients to your liking. I got a beef shawarma salad with baba ghanoush, cucumbers, cucumber yogurt, olives, and pickled radish. My boyfriend got a chicken shawarma bowl (half grains, half salad) with hummus, baba ghanoush, garlic whip, and other veggies. Previous to visiting NAYA, my friend, boyfriend, and I had a Middle Eastern brunch at Cafe Mogador. Considering how delicious our brunch was, I guess I set my expectations too high for NAYA. For starters, the beef was OK. But I did not like how sour the baba ghanoush tasted. It took away from the rest of my salad. While portion sizes were appropriate, I just didn't feel fully satisfied from this meal. Overall, I would say that NAYA wasn't my favorite place to eat, but I appreciate the convenience of this location. read more

I finally had to chance to try Naya this past week -- as my team decided to do a group order for lunch. I can't believe I havenmt had this sooner. The steak pita sandwhich was incredible. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. read more

I ordered this on DoorDash. I got the beef bowl and it was a lot of food and they were not shy about giving a lot of meat too! The quinoa bed with beef bowl is both hearty, filling, and light. The price point? $25 for 2 bowls. This is better than Chipotle IMHO read more

CAVA but for lebanese / middle eastern food (~$14 for a custom bowl). The beef was better than the chicken kebab (a little dry). The baba ghanoush and flatbread were the stars of the show: the former was smoky and creamy while the latter was so chewy and yeasty, just like a foccacia. Garlic whip and the green pickles were a close second: the whip was surprisingly light, creamy, and refreshing while the pickles provided crunch and sourness. read more

Tucked into the concourse of 1 New York Plaza, Naya has become my go-to FiDi lunch break whenever I need something fast but still genuinely flavorful. The counter-service layout lets you build bowls, rolls, or salads from a spread of Lebanese staples--think vermicelli rice, freekeh, pickled turnips, and that dangerously addictive garlic whip--so dialing in the exact mix you want is easy Proteins are the headliners. The classic chicken shawarma is reliably juicy, but the limited-run Roasted Lemon Chicken (a collab with New York Shuk) is worth the up-charge--bright, citrusy, and perfect against earthy freekeh eatnaya.com. Bowls land in the $13-15 range, which feels fair for the portion. Service is brisk and friendly even during the noon rush. Lines can snake down the hallway, but staff keep the assembly line moving and pickup shelves are clearly labeled. Ordering ahead through the app is a lifesaver when the building's office crowd descends right at 12:30. The dining area offers a handful of communal high-tops; plan to eat outside on the plaza steps if you crave elbow room. Pro tip: Go heavy on the baba ghanouj, drizzle a little tahini, and ask for extra garlic whip on the side. Your coworkers will smell it--but they'll thank you when you bring them along next time. read more

The food looked good and tasted fine at first, but partway through my bowl, I found a piece of plastic in it. Definitely not what you want to see when you're eating. I get that mistakes happen, but this felt pretty careless, especially for a place that's supposed to be all about fresh, quality food. Kinda ruined the whole meal for me, and honestly makes me nervous to order again. Hoping this was a one-off, but wanted to share so others are aware. read more

My favorite Mediterranean spot! I use them frequently for catering at my place of work.

Place was nice. Set in a beautiful location. The only thing I did not like was the seat. It had no back.

Absolutely one of the best assembly-line chain restaurants in NYC. Naya has amazingly delicious Middle Eastern food and countless options to choose from. If I can compare them to anywhere, they are almost like the Middle Eastern counterpart to Chipotle - but, dare I say, actually better tasting!! I've only been to Naya a few times as of now, but each meal has been more delicious than the previous. The main entrees here are the Naya Roll, Naya Bowl or Naya Salad. For their rolls, they have a menu of items with already hand-picked ingredients, but if you're feeling more "adventurous" you can build your own roll, bowl or salad. Every time I've eaten from here, I've gone the custom route and, honestly, there isn't much difficulty to the ordering process. As with most assembly-line restaurants, you first have to pick your base, then you choose your protein and you finish it off with your toppings. Viola. That's it. Of course, the ingredients will be comprised of Middle Eastern ingredients and they are all DELICIOUS. Personally, I always love getting the bowl and it is ridiculously filling. For the bowl, first, you have to choose between Vermicelli Rice or Freekah (if you don't know what Freekah is definitely google it.) Next, you have a number of proteins to choose from. You cannot go wrong with the Chicken Shawarma or Falafel here. Lastly, you choose your toppings, and there are PLENTY to choose from. If you're not sure which one to choose - well, you can choose them all at no additional cost! That is all there is to it. Also, don't forget to ask for your free pita too. As for this location, the employees have always been friendly and I've never had a complaint or seen a reason to complain. The food is awesome and I wouldn't expect anything less from any other location either. read more

Good option for a quick, reasonably priced, indoor meal in FiDi; as it is located in the Brookfield Place food court. We got there early (before 12), and there were plenty of tables to choose from. However it was fairly crowded when we left. Lines are long but move quickly. Food is good. I think that they were fairly generous with the meat, and there is a large range of toppings that you can add, most of which are quite flavorful. Its comparable to Roti... I'd say Roti tastes a little better, but I would still return here due to the convenience. read more

way too oily. I was sick. I am sick of places that pretend to be healthy and are greasier than fast food. sigh.

I've heard great things about this place but never had the chance to visit since the line is always long. I tried the bowl with lamb. I got almost all the toppings (except the jalapeños and olives) and overall it tastes healthy but yummy. They give you a complimentary piece of pita so you can eat your hummus with it. They have 4 different sauces that you can place on your bowl. The portions are very filling as well. I will be back to try other dishes as long as the line is manageable. read more

I have been coming to this place for a while, now I finally get a chance to write a review for them.. I always get the rice bowl from them, I tried Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Shish, Beef Shawarma, Meatball & Falafel. My favor choice is Chicken Shawarma and then Falafel. The rest is ok. The chicken Shawarma is always tender. I always get all the side. Hummus, Yogurt & Cucumber & Garlic whip is the best add-on topping along with chopped Romaine, Tomatoes, Cucumbers & Jalapeno Peppers. I always get the Red, Green and White sauce. Before you eat, make sure you mix everything up. They are so good. And don't forget the pita bread. read more

REALLY good! The Mediterranean food in fidi isn't the best, so I was very pleasantly surprised by this falafel bowl. I ordered it with white rice, falafel, chopped romaine, hummus, tomato, red onion & parsley sumac mix, cucumber, cucumber yogurt, lemon tahini, and feta cheese. The falafel isn't dry, there's no overwhelming flavor, and everything mixed very well together. Well balanced meal of healthy fats, protein, and healthy carbs. Will definitely order this again. Food in the Fidi area is usually overpriced, but Naya stands out as an exceptional. In addition to being affordable, it is also fresh, healthy, and delicious to boot! Tucked away in the One Plaza underground concourse, you'll find a casual looking food joint with Middle Eastern meal options served in a manner similar to Chipotle's. You can customize your own bowl with your choice of a base carb or salad, protein, and unlimited toppings like tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanouj, and lemon tahini. You can also build your own salad, or roll. I ordered a beef schwarma bowl and watched the satisfying sizzle of the meat on the grill. Everything tasted fresh, and I loved being able to customize the flavors to my palate. Every meal comes with a free, amazingly soft pita. The portion you get is enough for two meals. What a great lunch option in the area. read more

This is a nice relatively pricey lunch stop in the Financial District. The food was good and fresh and the salads were good, though a bit small on portions. They have many options for wraps/salads, but I did a Falafel Salad. And warning for those who want Jalapenos- they DO NOT remove seeds so beware. There is a mini food court in the bowels of 1 New York Plaza but finding a healthy option among them can be a daunting task at times. I have tried out Naya a few times and this is one of the better spots. The falafel bowl is both filling and nutritious, and is my go-to here since I am not a meat eater. Creamy hummus and the fluffy pita is a nice side to dip. A lot of food for the price, and you get to build it with the ingredients you desire. Like a salad joint or Chipotle style. It's consistent and pretty tasty. During lunch hours there always seems to be a long line but moves pretty quick. read more

Tried Naya for the first time and it did not disappoint. The portion size was big and service was good. Placed my order online and order was ready for pick up when I went into the store. Not a big fan of the pita bread. This store is close to the Staten Island Ferry so you can order for pick up and hop on the ferry which is very convenient. Not sure if this is normal but the two bowls I got had a very oily bottom which caused the takeout bag to be oily and there were sauces all over the outside of the bag so it made my jacket dirty. Highly recommend though, would come back. read more

The food at this place is fantastic and the service is very friendly. Our server greeted us with a "HOW YOU DOINN" that made me think Joey from Friends was joining us for dinner. With limited options around this block on 2nd Avenue, NAYA is a true standout. However, the one thing I will caution is the cramped space at the front of the restaurant. I'd recommend coming here for date night or quick catch up with a friend but would not suggest coming in a bigger group. The hommus comes in a large serving so definitely get one of these. If you plan on eating any meat, then you should also grab an order of the labne (strained yogurt with some herbs). If you go into the basement of One New York Plaza between the hours of 12-1pm, you're going to see this giant line that snakes around several columns. The line will always be for Naya. And I get it - the food is really good. It's some of the best chicken shawarma that I've had outside of Dearborn. They give you a lot of food. If you get a rice bowl, it's packed with sauces and veggies. The line may look intimidating, but it always goes by fast. It's essentially a Chipotle, but with Mediterranean food instead. My favorite is the chicken shawarma with garlic sauce and hummus on top of rice. I love that their rice has fried vermicelli in it! Service has always been friendly and quick. You're definitely in-and-out within 15 minutes if you're there during the lunch rush. read more

My dad's a picky eater; and the ideal Asian who has to have his rice daily to sleep at night! And even he himself liked the food, which says a lot. We visited NY with my wife and parents, and this is the place that Yelp suggested right when we got off Stratten Island Ferry. It has been about 10 years since I left NY, and I know a lot has changed. Keeping that in mind, Naya managed to keep the prices manageable while serving good food. While I'd argue that it wasn't authentic; but definitely far better than Chipotle (and its "Mexican" food). I'd happily recommend this place to tourists and locals alike. read more

I've been going here for the past three years because our company is in the building next door. I think this review is self explanatory, just look at the pictures. I have spoken to customer success and director of people operations at NAYA. Nothing has been done and I have not been refunded my order either. Check number 67 on 2/17/2022. I have emailed People Operations and have been ignored. Now all I've got to say is be careful when you're entering this establishment. I've given them a month to respond and fix this issue, so now I'm posting this Yelp review. Thanks read more

Definitely one of my favorite places for fast-casual food! I love the chicken and falafels as protein options here, and usually get all the toppings (also love how this is one of the options if you are ordering for delivery so you don't have to click on every single topping).
