I came to this restaurant for a too good to go order (mobile app that allows restaurants to sell their food at lower cost and reduce food waste). The staff were friendly and quick, they showed me how to use the app because I was unfamiliar on how to get the confirmation. Once I showed them my order confirmation, they made me a big bowl with lots of variation. I was able to eat it over two meals and it was delicious. The meal itself was healthy and did not feel heavy. I will definitely order here again through too good to go! read more

My second time in a month and won't be going back because; -staff don't seem to be capable of even saying hi and barely make eye contact -both times the bowl is barely half full -today barely any sweet potatoes and half avocado was barely ripe (paid extra for both of these items) It's a totally night and day experience at the new location at 4 Columbus Circle. This team should take note of the way they operate! read more

I eat here a few times a year. Always the same experience: Delicious and healthy food, fresh ingredients; and a large portion. But the employees make me feel like I'm inconveniencing them by being there. Rude and unfriendly, I guess they're not happy about their jobs. Tonight's Thai chicken salad was delicious. But the service was bad. read more

Service is dookie everyone's rude and the entire place is like a reggae sauna. It's hot 365 in here and some dude with a kiss lipstick mark on his neck is saying we are understaffed and get back. He's trying to control the crowd like riot control, but he was on tinder and that's what delayed everything. It's an absolute fiasco. My friend Jacob said an employee farted near their food. Do not come here. It's an absolute goofy house. food is always sold out. I once walked in and they said we are out of salad. YOUR NAME IS JUST SALAD read more

Place is efficient but manager is brusque/rude and needs to interact better with customers

I placed my order and went to pick it up at 1:40pm even though it was scheduled to be ready at 1:26pm (to give them more time). Not surprisingly, it order wasn't there. I informed the lady in the front that my order wasn't on the shelf. She asked for my name, I gave her my surname, she checked and said it wasn't in the system. She asked me to get my email confirmation. I walked back to my office, printed out my confirmation and walked back to their shop. She looked at my printout and said "Oh, we go by first name here". WHAT! I said why didn't you just ask me before if what I had given was my first name!?!??! How am I supposed to know your shop goes by first name!!!!??? Either way, first or last name, the order was still not made. Not one single apology for the order not being made because now, it's almost an hour late or the confusion with first or last name. They simply do not care nor want to be working there at all frankly. Absolutely terrible customer service! For $14 an order and a few pieces of lettuce, I will go elsewhere for better service. read more

I decided to try this for the first time as a last minute decision. You get exactly what you'd expect here. You get your base choice, protein etc. I kept it simple with romaine, crispy chicken, corn and some French dressing. It was pretty good, can't complain but I do feel I could have gotten a better taste, a better portion and a better price from a nearby deli. The service was quick as you'd expect a place like this. There's a pretty good amount of sitting room if you would like to dine in. read more

Exactly what I was looking for in a quick salad spot for lunch. Service was extremely efficient and the menu had interesting seasonal options. I liked that the salad included a good variety of ingredients so I didn't get bored eating it. Ordered the crispy chicken poblano salad and it was delivered without chicken. I have to make this longer to let it be posted as a review.... That was the only issue but the main ingredient was missing from the salad I sent my contact info in the link provided but was never contacted read more

We stopped by this restaurant for a healthy dinner after a long day of tours and we enjoyed the food. The ambiance was very casual but the food was good. We ordered the Thai chicken crunch salad, the Tokyo Supergreens chicken salad, a turmeric juice and a chicken noodle soup. My boyfriend really liked his chicken noodle soup and I really liked my turmeric drink. The chicken on the salads was just average and we were really shocked the restaurant didn't have a washroom. Perhaps some of the other locations are more consumer friendly. Would I return? I'd definitely check out some of the other locations and I would definitely stop by for the drinks. read more

Ordered a pickup via Ritual for Thai Chicken Salad with addition of Kale Broccoli and Parm Slaw. Although the portion size for the Salad was good enough, the ratio of meat to greens was a bit off. There could have been more chicken. Also the chicken lacked flavor. The slaw was indistinguishable in the bowl of greens. The dressing that came with the salad was tasty but that was about it. The were fried wonton chips which was the much required crunch. All in all an okayish meal. read more

Great salad place with fast efficient service and healthy food. It's a similar setup to the plethora of similar salad places now popular across the country. I ordered the Chicken Shawirma salad. It didn't have a ton of chicken but was loaded with healthy vegetables and just a light dressing. The calorie count was reasonable for lunch. The line quickly grew after I left but their method of having a server fill out the menu card helps speed prep and paying. They have a nice combo / value option where you can add smoothie, a toast or chips/ water for a couple bucks. Worth checking out! read more

I ordered a salad here for delivery through Seamless. It never arrived. When I tried to call them, I received a message instructing me to send a text. Thoroughly surprised at how delicious and filling the Chicken Caesar Salad was! I was afraid it would be bland because it's on the more basic side of salads, but I was pleasantly surprised. The parmesan to salad to chicken ratio was also perfect. The employees were also very kind. One went to grab some utensils for me when they noticed I didn't have any with my order. Just Salad - Crispy Chicken Poblano - Salad Near Me - New York, New York

Recently I have changed my route going home once a week, walking from Columbus Circle to Port Authority Bus Terminal. Wanting to find a healthy spot to grab a dinner in between the two points, I jumped on the chance to go to this branch of Just Salad (in part to use my Black Bowl, which gets you a couple extra items in your salad). I used to be an avid Just Salad person but when work got way too busy for me to take proper lunch breaks, it was hard to go out and visit the restaurants. Since those days, their logo has been simplified and the orange and green colors that so dominated their marketing and locations have made way for more modern blues and silvers. This location is next to many other eateries so it has limited space for seating (mostly bar style chairs along the window at a counter). When you go in you order then move around an L shaped counter until you reach the cashier. When I was a regular at Just Salad, my favorite salad was the Turkey Health Cobb with the smokey Poblano Dressing. I love its combination of ingredients (some meat, some cheese, nice greens etc.) and the dressing has some killer flavor. So of course, that's what I ordered. Each time I've gone the past few weeks the employees were thrown off a bit by the Black Bowl because of the extras it provides, but they worked through it and I was by no means unhappy with the service. Unlike the old days, Just Salad "pre chops" all its ingredients now. Personally, I preferred those days. While the ingredients are pre chopped, some bits are still a bit bigger than I would like. That said, flavor wise the salad is still on point and tastes like the salad I remember. I have enjoyed my visits to this branch so far, but keep in mind I have not gone during any rush times so it may be a very different place during those times. read more

Just Salad used to be my favorite place to grab a salad for lunch as I was obsessed with the buffalo chicken salad (substitute the celery for cucumber) and the Thai chicken crunch salad. Both chopped. (The chopped part is very important and you'll see why a little later). Over the last month or so I've been noticing subtle changes. Maybe it was the fact that I ate there at least three time a week. First, the buffalo chicken that's used in the salad started to be less and less sauced. I asked management and they said they stopped pre-saucing (is that a word?) the chicken so they could use it in a wider array of salads. Ok, that's understandable, but then the overall quality of the chicken started to decline. Despite this, I preserved. Until about a week or so ago, I went to grab lunch and I was told that they no longer chop the salads. [insert gasps here] with the rationale that they pre-chop all ingredients smaller. [spoiler alert: this is false]. While this may not seem like a big deal, but any chopped salad eater and co-sing my frustration here. Lower quality ingredients + not chopping + not even excelling at tossing the salad = two stars from me. read more

I come here almost everyday. This place is pretty clean and they seem to do a good job at quickly processing orders and being attentive to your needs. When ordering through seamless, they definitely make it seamless as i've only run into issues maybe twice only because i came at lunch rush hour so orders can take a bit longer since everyone is either trying to pay or delivery guys are trying to get their orders. But ive had their smoothies, berry wild and strawberry banana, and also had a few of their salads and they're a good size too. this location, i overall like and would recommend as again I interact with the staff here almost daily read more

I like it. So it appears to be a knock of of "_______". But I liked some of the options that the other company doesn't offer. I also don't mind the salad not being chopped into little pieces. Price was also better than the other guys. I'll go back for sure. read more

I go to Just salad probably once a week. Place is always crowded but I usually order online and pick it up.. never had to wait for my food. While I was eating today, I noticed an insect in the food. It was stuck to the feta cheese but not necessarily in the cheese. That does not speak well for hygiene or quality of products being offered. Adding an extra star only for their customer service. They apologized and offered me refund and/or replacement. I took the refund but would not want to get food from here again. read more
