The salad overall was good. It was supposed to be a Cobb salad. I paid extra for chick peas, obviously missing from my order here. Boiled egg was a major staple here which is also missing. I asked for tossed, I got mixed. It was a delivery so I didn't bother try to correct the error, but the level of attention they pay to orders that are not standard is little to none. read more

This was my first time ordering from here, and it left a great impression. I got the crispy fish sandwich and added cheese, lettuce, and spicy mayo. The fish was crunchy and flavorful. The lettuce was shredded super thin, which made it soggy pretty quickly -- something to note if texture matters to you. The service was smooth and efficient. It's a "wait for your number to be called" setup, and the ordering process flows well. The space has a bright, welcoming, cafeteria-style vibe. Just a heads-up: be ready to spend -- my sandwich and a soda came out to about $20. read more

I had a delightful breakfast at Lenwich! My egg sandwich came with a spicy mayo that I didn't order but also kinda didn't mind. The sandwich itself was very tasty. The store was pretty spotless. The service was a bit slow but the staff was kind! I'd happily come back! read more

The chicken Cesar wrap is the best I have ever had in my entire life. The chicken is flavorful, the salad is delicious, and the croutons are small and crunchy. The servers were friendly, and my wrap was made quickly. It was about 15$ which I feel like is a solid price for this spectacular wrap. read more

Lenwich is one of those places that just hits every time you go. The sandwichs are prepared well and all ingredients are fresh. The veggie-wich was lovely. Light and healthy and doesn't fall apart when eating it. The steak sandwich was prepared nicely. Not chewy like some steak sandwiches. So good. The fries with blue cheese sauce were decent. The fries were nice but blue cheese sauce was funky. It needed some heat and with hot sauce it worked. Great prices and portions! Will be back. read more

Lenwich is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Their lone offer is the Chickavo sandwich at 35% off, from $14 to $9.10. A solid lunch sandwich on a deal will always win votes. I would normally get whatever deal the Wendy's next door is running. But I wandered in with an appetite and solved my problem with a tastier option. The Chickavo has grilled chicken, avocado, mesclun, red peppers and ranch. I picked the ciabatta bread. While I do not eat peppers, they gladly substituted tomatoes. I did not notice any ranch, but I hate it anyway so it worked out fine. I was able to watch NY1 on an overhead TV while savoring each bite. When you get to the fork in the road, take it. But skip the fork entirely and enjoy a superb sandwich. read more

They forgot the chicken on my salad which is the most important part. Also the avocado was brown. I'm never going here again

I'm usually not too crazy of lunch spots like this one in NY especially in midtown, which is where my office is but I'm actually very impressed with their salad and sandwich selections. The picante Caesar salad is really good and their sandwiches are pretty tasty. The spicy chicken is my favorite. It's got a kick because of the hot peppers, which I love. Of course definitely on the pricier side but it's midtown, so what can ya expect? For the lunch rush hour, the service is surprisingly fast too so that's always a plus! read more

Worst place to eat. The staff are very impolite. They mix the orders and even argue. Quality of food is okay. Don't waste your money here. read more

Get the chicken Caesar wrap, you won't regret it. We order from there multiple times per week and it's always fast and easy!

Not exactly what I was hoping from this renowned sandwich shop. I ordered the Tuna Dijon and it was a let down, especially for the price I paid $12. The Tuna was almost Subway quality. The sprouts weren't fresh. The other ingredients weren't quality. I asked for it on a wrap and the sandwich maker was putting in on sandwich bread so I did have to interject to correct that. The only positive was the size of the wrap. The wrap was quite large, but definitely the ingredients were lacking in freshness and quality. **I did appreciate that with the sandwich they offered hand sanitizer. That's super helpful when you're on the go now a day's and just need a quick bite. read more

In my opinion this is one of the most solid options for breakfast and lunch around the Columbus Circle area. Every time I'm in the mood for a sandwich I come to this place. They have a bunch of awesome creative sandwiches to choose from or you can make your own. Their fries are delicious and crispy and you get a ton! Gets crowded during lunch but the line moves fast and service is quick. read more

Came in for lunch because I was in the mood for a turkey sandwich on a roll. I ordered the Cracked pepper turkey sandwich and it was really really good. I am definitely a fan. During lunch time it is pretty packed but they do move fast. The only negative I have is that it is a bit expensive. I am so use to getting a cracked pepper turkey sandwich on a roll from my local deli for about $3 or $4 but here it is $9.79 and it does not include a drink or chips. I will definitely come back again because it really tasted delicious. read more

What a complete disappointment. I've seen Lenwich as a popular sandwich shop on Instagram and have always wanted to try it. I'm in NYC this week for a training class and saw that a location was two blocks away. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and an order of fries. It took approximately 25 minutes for them to realize they never put any fries in the fryer. After another 10 minutes I asked for my wrap so I can start eating with my co-workers due to having a limited time for lunch. After seating down, I unwrapped my food to find out it was completely the wrong order. When I went back up to the counter to speak with the store clerk, she could care less and blamed a customer for this mistake occurring. But failed to realize that my order number was rubber banded around the wrap. After asking her several times how long this would take and if I could speak to her manager, she completely ignored me and would not look at me. After waiting another 5 minutes with her completely ignoring me I asked for a total refund of my food. What a terrible experience and I will never go back!!! I had to go back to class without food because of it! This employee should be disciplined for her conduct today. Completely ignoring a customer is disrespectful on so many levels. read more

FIX HOURS SIGNAGE Love, love, LOVE the chopped caesar with breaded chicken. Addicted, more like. But--the signage on certain locations needs some desperate fixing, which is why I'm giving three stars, most specifically today, a Tuesday, for the location on 56th and 8th in Midtown. Earlier in the day I had walked past the shop with the intention of coming back for two of my favorite salads for dinner later. It's unfortunate that I didn't take a picture of the sign, but I remember distinctly that the label listing the store's hours had Monday through Friday as open until 7 PM, and 4 PM only on either Saturday or Sunday, not sure which but hours are (supposedly, might the sign actually be correct for weekends unlike weekdays) different for both days. So, seeing earlier the list saying, for a Tuesday, the shop was open until 7 PM, I returned to get the salads and was turned away. When I left the shop, I re-checked the hours outside and, yup, "open until 7 PM". I am less upset by the fact that the shop had closed and turned me away than I am for the signage outside being majorly incorrect, and because of that I am 100 percent certain it happens a lot. It seems to me the stickers made for listing the hours are the same for all locations, meaning that they are only correct for a couple of locations. side note: I later checked (amidst writing this review) google maps which did indeed say "closes at 4 PM", so I will admit to that error of mine, but what's the use of that for the people whose only access to store hours are the signage at the actual location?? Information should be uniform. FIX THE STOREFRONT SIGNAGE TO THE CORRECT HOURS ACCURATELY PER LOCATION read more

The service was fine but I ordered the CHICKEN Baja bowl and my bowl literally has no chicken at all. Either they gave me the wrong bowl or straight up forgot it. I will not be coming back because the bowl I got for what I paid was not worth it. Super delicious sandwiches on deck, fresh and hot if you like... love the pastrami hero.

I would give this 3.5 stars because service was fine and it was clean inside (although smells funny inside). My salad was enjoyable and I LOVE sweets but there was an unacceptable amount of dried cherries on my salad. I ordered the Jurassic without any alterations and look how many extra dried cranberries I had! I ate many of them this was just what is leftover. That can't be healthy and I hope others aren't receiving these portions. read more

Was craving a turkey club and found this sandwich spot nearby on Yelp. After checking the menu, I decided to skip the turkey and try their grilled chicken sandwich. It was delicious!! Has grilled chicken, lettuce, melted mozzarella, roasted pepper, and grilled onions (which I took off). Service was about 5-10 minutes and the staff was friendly. The menu here is pretty extensive with everything from steak, to hummus, to fish sandwiches, and then turkey. They also have an assortment of chips and beverages to go with your sandwich. Will definitely come here again to try another sandwich. read more

I'm a fan of Lenny's. This location was clean and really spacious. I usually get a cold pumpernickel bagel with lox cream cheese spread. Overall, pretty underwhelming. For $11 for a sandwich, you can do a heck of a lot better. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and added avocado and crispy onions. The chicken cutlets were incredibly thin and mostly breading and the sandwich was drowned in hot sauce. About the best thing I can say about the experience is that the service was gone, but having gone later one during lunch, this was a bit of an aberration. Usually I'll wait about 10 min for a sandwich despite the multitudes of sandwich makers. The only way I would return is out of convenience. You can do much better if you want to spend a little over $10 for lunch! read more

Came here with mom around almost 4pm for late lunch/early dinner. Mom ordered the Thanksgiving on a roll and I got the Lenwich. After paying, the cashier informed us that they ran out of fresh oven roasted turkey for the Thanksgiving sandwich. Mom was a bit disappointed but got regular turkey in replacement. Funny thing was that we were the last customers since it was a Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving to be exact. So other customers got told that the shop is closed. The cashier told mom and I that technically they close at 5pm that day.(I get it, many places close early the day before Thanksgiving) We said we won't be staying too long to finish our sandwiches. Therefore, we were the only customers allowed to stay and eat while others weren't (lucky us i guess lol). When our sandwiches arrived, my first bite of the Lenwich was amazing! I got no words to describe it but all I can say is YUM!!! read more

I tried, I really did! I ordered the same salad online, usually six days a week, and had numerous discussions with manager and staff, but to no avail. Sometimes the salad container is bursting at the seams with salad, and often it's only 3/4 or 2/3 full. Today was the final straw, only about half full... and for twenty dollars a pop, is a bit more lettuce so much to ask? I'm reluctantly going to have to check out other delivery options for lunch. It's a shame, because when Lenwich makes a "good" salad, it's VERY good! read more

The Short and Simple - Great sandwich spot - Can get busy and be a bit of a wait for your sandwich - Good amount of seating Food: 4.5* Customer Service: 4* The Long Detailed Version: FOOD I'm pretty surprised at the low rating for Lenwich. I've been here multiple times (and other locations too) and haven't had a bad experience. I've typically gotten the same sandwiches - The Big Daddy - The Steak'wich and the BBQ Goudness (can you tell I like steak sandwiches?) and they're pretty packed sandwiches...as in it's a pretty big sandwich, packed with a lot of goodness. CUSTOMER SERVICE It's what you'd expect. They work fast to take your order but it does take some time to make your sandwich. If you're in a rush, then this may not be the spot for you. But if you don't mind a little wait, then it's totally fine. Or do what I do and order online, so that when you walk in to pick up your sandwich, it's already done. read more

We came in here by accident because we went to the wrong place but have to say the bagels we had were very good. The place is pretty simple but the service was friendly and fast. I appreciated the fact that when I asked for my bagel to be toasted extra crispy that indeed it turned out extra crispy as most places ignore that request! The only thing that could have been cleaner was the restroom otherwise food was excellent . I had a poopy seed bagel with tomato, avocado and onions to make it vegan friendly read more

Delicious fresh sandwiches. The Lenwich is my favorite "go to!" Classic New York deli sandwich.

Why do people still go to subway when there's places like Potbelly & Lenwich. I've had a Lenwich sandwich twice so far and both were so good, that it prompted me to leave a review ha ha.
