Southwest Crunch salad
Anne Marie H.

I wanted a quick bite for dinner, but something healthy. Just Salad seemed like the perfect place, especially because of the vegan option. I chose the Southwest Crunch salad, which was a perfect combination of textures and flavors! The place wasn't that busy since it was dinnertime, and I'm guessing more people come there for lunch. So, ordering took very little time, and it was easy to find seating. The layout of this location was a bit odd, and the restaurant did not have a very cozy feel at all. This place has both plant-based meat and cheese options, which is wonderful! I'm only left with the question, how can we get this chain in the north suburbs of Chicago?!?

Protein Power Salad
Harmony L.

Can this place PLEASE open in LA?! I think it would do phenomenal. We got the Protein Power and it was definitely protein packed! They ran out of egg so they were nice and added a extra chicken to compensate, grateful that they did this. The portion size was VERY generous and the staff was extremely friendly! They made us feel very welcome. It was a pretty big store front with lots of seating. HIGHLY recommend!!

Had a healthy delicious TooGoodToGo rice bowl with two slices of bread and a pumpkin soup. The rice bowl came with brown rice, sliced apples, cauliflowers, lentil and a scoop of avocado. The workers were efficient. Just they closed rather early at 8:30pm so I couldn't sit and eat at the restaurant. The restaurant looks clean.

Crispy Chicken Poblano

So many options and I was blown away at the price! Wanted something light before my flight this was perfect! Coming back for sure!

This is a was one of the best salads I've ever had. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Poblano - Romaine & Kale, Breaded Chicken, Cotija Cheese, Avocado, Corn, Pickled Red Onions, Tortilla Chips. Suggested Dressing: Smoky Poblano Ranch. My first one (you know I've had more than one) was light on the kale, heavy on the Romaine and it was perfection. The fried chicken cutlet was HUGE. The pickled red onions.... I could have eaten a bowl of them by itself. I will definitely ask for extra next time. I got it with the salad dressing tossed in. The clerk asked me if I wanted "heavy or light" dressing. Thank you for asking! That gives people who usually have to order it on the side a choice to get theirs tossed too. The clerk was outstanding. I ordered from another location because it was in my delivery area, but I liked the salad I got at this location so much that I'm willing to make the trip myself when the craving hits. I love their eco-friendly bowls. The cardboard holds up to the dressing and the lid clamps shut. For even more conservation you can buy a reusable bowl. Great if you're a regular. If I worked nearby this would be my go-to lunch spot. Delicious!

Full disclosure: I hate salads. I want to like them, just like all the fab, trendy beauties walking the streets of New York City. But how can you like rabbit food for a meal? Well, if you're anything like me, just salad's chicken poblano salad may change your mind! Crispy and fresh, yet flavorful and filling - and the strawberry lemonade was the refreshing cherry on top. So. Good. This new location is clean and urban chic, and the staff is friendly and well-mannered. A salad is still not a favorite meal of mine, but if I enjoyed this pleasant surprise, you will too!

California Salad - Delicious

Watch out Sweetgreen! Just Salad is great - all fresh ingredients and they don't skimp. I tried the California Salad which is a nice low calorie, low sodium option. It was really good without all the guilt. I tried the buffalo ranch dressing on the side which was yummy. And you can add an optional piece of bread. There was no line when I arrived and my salad was made quickly. The staff was also very pleasant. Overall great place to grab a healthy salad or meal with lots of options.

Stopped in to grab some dinner here and the ambience at Just Salad is so bright and open, which is super welcoming. Also located close to Bryant park so you can take you entree to go and sit and eat there! I ordered the poblano salad which was recommended by the employee there, who was also really nice and even recommended adding a touch of the spicy avocado dressing. It was delicious and filling. I want to go back abs try the beyond meatball Tex mix salad next! Overall great quick lunch and dinner spot.

Inside is so clean!

I got here with 5 minutes to close, around 7:55 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. They normally close at 8:00 but when I got there they still had everything in stock, and they were really welcoming. I'm at the manager, Felipe, and he was very nice in helping me order. He recommended the crispy chicken poblano as one of the most popular options. The salad comes with dressing either on the side or on the salad, and a piece of bread. I appreciate that both the bowl and the salad dressing are both in compostable/recycled material, not wasted plastic. The salad was really filling and high quality, and I will definitely be returning for a quick lunch spot.

Good is always fresh and tasty. They have already made salads and make your own. They now have market plates with rice and grains.

The pure vida sauce was a herby green with mustard that was so good. There's lots of seating space with clean bathrooms and polite and prompt service throughout. This is the main reason why I get food from here every once in a blue moon, like when they offer the buy one get one free special. That's when I really take advantage. The unique seating area is charming, though limited, and don't get me wrong, the wraps that I've tried so far were delicious! They're just not $14 - $17 delicious lol. The staff here are friendly and seem cool. They make the wraps right in front of you and it's quite a cool process to watch. Each wrap is made from a homemade dough, heated on a hot iron dome and then filled with fresh and one of a kind ingredients. All of the wraps are rich with antioxidants and made with natural ingredients. My favorites: Dire Wolf (fried chicken wrapped in ginger dough, lamb bacon, melted cheddar, green papaya slaw, spicy pickled shika peppers, wolf ketchup) The Beast (grilled steak wrapped in turmeric dough, bbq crunch, blue cheese, marinated green olives, cilantro, red chili mayo) They have opened several locations over the years since I first tried them. Because of their unique wrap concept I can understand why. There's definitely a niche for them in this super tough NYC restaurant business.

Try: Chicken & Pancakes, Corned Beef Hash, and Chicken Noodle Soup!…read more Why: Took my parents to an early brunch and we enjoyed Chicken & Pancakes, Corned Beef Hash, and Chicken Noodle Soup! They were able to sub the waffles for pancakes, which was a huge stack of 3 fluffy pancakes topped with juicy fried chicken and maple syrup. Very filling and easily shareable. My dad got the Corned Beef Hash with eggs sunny side up. It also came with lots of sliced potatoes, which had slightly crispy edges. We dipped them in genie house sauce that was flavorful. Mom was craving soup to settle her tummy and she really liked the broth of Chicken Noodle Soup. Everything was flavorful and delicious. I washed down my food with mimosas that was nicely filled to the brim. Notes: Hostess and Waiter were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Waiter gave good recs too and kept the mimosa flowing. Clean spacious diner with large booths and table inside, and outside seating. We came at 11am before the brunch crowd so restaurant was about 1/2 capacity, by the time we left it was packed. Lots of families and strollers. We had a corner booth near front window, great location for people watching while enjoying a meal. Overall, good service, good brunch atmosphere, and good food.

Green Kitchen is living up to its philosophy by offering healthy grains, salads, soups and a wealth of options. Rochelle and I met up for lunch and dined Al fresco. The menu offers really tantalizing options: burgers, pancake options, salads, etc. Rochelle has been on an Eggs Benedict kick and that was her choice. I ordered an egg white spinach mozzarella omelette. There are options such as home fries, French fries or salad as sides to accompany the entree. We both chose home fries and whole wheat toast for my omelette. Rochelle ordered a regular iced coffee took one sip then one sip of my iced cappuccino and decided my cap was better. Here's how our entrees tasted: -Eggs Benedict: Two poached eggs on an english muffin with canadian bacon and avocado, topped with chipotle hollandaise sauce. I tasted the avocado and it was creamy and fresh. Rochelle enjoyed her meal immensely. -Egg White Omelette with spinach and mozzarella is made with three eggs, side of whole wheat toast and delicious home fries. The portion is generous and filling. This is part of build your own omelette on menu. -Iced Cappuccino: cream, dreamy and frothy, tbh, no added sweetener needed. -Service: courteous although I asked for iced water with lemon and received just water. Green Kitchen is a fine place for any meal; breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. There is a Happy Hour weekdays from 11am-7pm. GK is a five star experience, however, loss of one star is the attention to details: we wanted to pay in cash but needed change from a big bill. The server took the bill and some confusion later " the bill you handed is not enough to pay the bill.." Okey dokey. GK is definitely a nice post shopping ( Bloomingdales), gym or meet up for a meal.
