Looking for passport photos? Look no further than Just Passports! I did quite a bit of research on where to get passport photos around Austin as I needed 8 photos (yep, you read that right!) and that start adding up. Just Passport were the most affordable I could find at $15 for 2 photos and the best quality, compared to the big pharmacy chains that also offer them - at $16.99 for two. I didn't need an appointment when I went, but I am not sure if that's normal or if maybe they were quiet when I called. It was pretty straightforward when I got there and I had my photos in less than 5 minutes. It sounded like they close between 11:30-1pm every day so maybe call ahead to check on availability before going. read more

Amazing! I was asked to go out of the country for work and needed my passport in 72 hours or I couldn't make it. I found out over the weekend I'd be flying out. Even though the office was closed, I decided to send Erik a message via Facebook and see if it was even a possibility to get a passport turned around in such a short amount of time. Erik instantly replied back to my message and set up a time for me to come in first thing Monday morning. The entire process probably took about 45 minutes. Dealing with government documents has always been a nightmare for me, from long lines to rude employees, but not at Just Passports. I needed a passport for a movie role I booked in India. I had to get it and a work visa within a week. I called Houston and Dallas passport offices and couldn't get an appointment in time. Erik is the man! I arrived at 10:21 AM and left at 11: 37 AM with the entire process completed and it was kinda busy. What I brought: My birth certificate. My drivers license My travel itinerary for my upcoming trip Debit card for fee (pricey but worth it) $25 cash for courthouse processing fee When I arrived: Parking is limited, but the meters charge about a buck an hour The office is "behind" the law office on the corner. Look for the little building and sign. There were others in line- Erik was helping them and immediately got me started with my paperwork and photo. Fill out the DS11 firm in the office with Eriks help just to be sure. He will instruct you to walk to the clerks office around the block upon completion of payment, and online form with your packet containing all aforementioned paperwork and $25 cash . Clerk is on 3rd floor : room 301. Short wait and you will be on your way back to Erik with envelope containing all completed forms. He will contact you upon receipt of passport. Boom! Done! The Passport process is complicated enough, made even more so if you only have a week or so to get it done. Erik made it all clear, accessible, and I had my Passport in hand just when he told me it would be there. I had planned an expensive trip to go to Dallas to get my Passport, and I was so happy to cancel that and support a local Austin business instead. Plus, Erik is so incredibly nice to work with. After putting my packet together with all of my forms, photo, birth certificate, etc, he even walked me outside to point out clear directions about how to walk to and enter the courthouse 2 blocks away. Erik was so lovely to work with. I got my passport expedited for a impromptu trip to Mexico with 6 business days to spare... It'll cost a little bit to do so, but it can be done! Total cost was right at 400.00 with photo and court house fees included for 72 hour turn around. Let me paint the picture of exactly what you will need to do because it's kind of unclear with each agency and the court house is of no help whatsoever or it'll take a long ass time for them to simply say, "come back when you have XYZ" Ok first hop on justpassports.com, fill out application and email it to the email address provided on site (info@justpassports.com I believe) then you'll fill out the government form called DS-11. You can Google it (make sure it's a .gov site, the form has a gold back ground), open, fill out, save, print. Now you're ready to head to see Erik. Once there he will take your forms, Pop a glamour shot, check ID and birth certificate, you'll pay... Then walk to court house 3 blocks away. Once in and through security youll go to third floor to room 310 where they will certify all is a go. Once green light given they will then give you an envelope to take back to just passports. Then you'll hurry up and wait for your new handy dandy passport. Mine was submitted to Erik on a Wednesday afternoon and I got it the next Tuesday. Erik is super sweet and kind!
