Dalia was so helpful with planning our honeymoon!! She took the time to meet with me and go over exactly where we were interested in going. From there, she put together a wonderful and detailed itinerary with suggested hotels, tourist attractions, etc. From there, I could customize which of her suggestions I wanted to go with or inquire about other places/attractions I heard of or researched prior. She took care of booking most everything and gave detailed directions on where to go and who to talk to. Made our entire trip a breeze and carefree! First and last time I use a travel agency. They are not very helpful at all in my opinion, and they don't stand behind what they sell you. I paid for a trip to Europe and many things went wrong on the trip that they "booked" and I paid for. When I asked for some kind of reimbursement, I was given the run around, and never got anything back. read more

I tried e-mailing the address on the website and it bounced back. Then I called to speak to someone about assisting my parents with flight arrangements and was put through to someone's voicemail. More than 24 hours later, I haven't gotten a call back. My mom tried calling them as well and they were extremely rude. So, we're going with a different travel agency. read more

I used to love them. I used them 4-5 times a year for 5 years and was very pleased. I was only steered wrong once. That was when I traveled to exotic locations and stayed in 5 star hotels. I asked fo help scheduling some more affordable trips and just general information about destinations and got lackluster to no response. If you're rich, expect great service. read more

Also, each agent is well traveled and can give great tips on places to stay away from and places that are a "must see"....I've had good, great and horrible experiences booking online..... I thought they appeared to be a large agency and was considering them for booking a cruise. I was wrong. The agent had to call the cruise line to get quotes, etc. I could do better on my own through the cruise lines website and get a better price. Cruise line websites are not the best place to get good deals. I specifically mentioned that Holland America was not an option due to smoking policy. The agent kept pushing Holland America. She pushed a Holland America Cruise tour when I asked about Princess. She pushed an Holland America tour that would tAke me off the boat at Skagway before the ship visited Glacier bay. I specified that Glacier Bay was a requirement. The agent did not know her own product and did not pay attention my original inquiry. The agent added transfers, etc to the proposed booking without asking about travel plans. I asked for a quote for a specific cruise tour on a specific date via email and never got the quote. Working with the agent would have been a nightmare. The visit was a complete waist of my time. I thought that I would go local. In the end, I got a great deal on the cabin that I wanted on the cruise line that I wanted on the date that I wanted from an out of town agency with a solid record. Do not waist time at Tramex for Cruises. read more

Not only did she provide options and gather opinions from people who have been to Kona, but she provided information about additional activities in the area that I might like. I have never used a travel agency before, but planning a trip to Japan was just too daunting. I connected with Kristina from Tramex and thank goodness I did! We went back and forth in the planning stages getting the details just right. They arranged flights, stays in 3 different cities, train tickets between cities and a couple of tours when we got there. I got a package in the mail a few weeks before our vacation, and a travel agent met us at baggage in Japan to help us get situated with train tickets, money exchange, and to get us on the right train to our first stop. I had an emergency contact in Japan that I could use anytime. I came down with a 24 hour nasty bug on vacation and Kristina helped me understand the trip and health insurance I bought. What a relief! (will never go without that again). Fortunately I got better quickly and my daughter and I had an AMAZING adventure! Everything Tramex arranged went perfectly, the ryokan and hotel they booked were beautiful. I am so thankful they helped me plan this vacation and the peace of mind I had while traveling was something I especially appreciated. Will definitely use them again. read more

This was our second trip with Viji from Tramex. Both were a huge success. Each trip was planned perfectly down to the last detail. This time I called Viji and told her we wanted to visit Amsterdam, but didn't really have any other ideas for while we were there. Knowing us from our first trip, she easily recommended the perfect additions to our vacation and it turned out amazing. From there she worked up an itinerary, booked fantastic hotels in great locations, and arranged transportation between each locations. I was looking for a professional (and friendly!) travel agent to help me coordinate our family vacation. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Corbitt to discuss our plans, the budget, and timeline. I wasn't set on any tropical vacation in particular...just a nice beach with all inclusive, so Ms. Corbitt took our list of requirements and offered suggestions for resorts matching our wants. She was very informative about the vacation destinations and activities we were interested in experiencing. She was able to book the hotel, air, & car service so we didn't have any worries. She also showed us some options for saving since our dates were flexible!! As far as our resort went, she gave us some cool excursion ideas, so we could have activities planned for the different personalities in our group.
