I've been bringing my Westie to Just Grooming after trying several other groomers in the area. Their facility is clean, staff friendly and they do a good Westie cut. I've been using them for about 3 years now. read more

I'm sorry I didn't find them sooner. They are good at what they do, organized, nice and priced fair! Will be returning

Their attentiveness to listening to who your pet is regarding mannerisms, temperament, and cut desired is A+. They even suggest options you never thought of, due to your pets coat. They have the most courteous, kind, and caring staff! They will also let you know if they find any imperfections/cause of concern of your pet while in care or prepping them. My pet, unbeknownst to me, had a small pink reddening behind one ear. It helped me address the cause because I noticed her lately scratching that same area recently! Moreover, they will send text reminders and allow you toi change/cancel. In conclusion, we've adopted a 2nd pet because they treat our Robin so well and when we went to pick up "Bella", we wanted to cry. She was gorgeous! Thank you "Just Grooming" read more

We've been taking our cavapoo to Just Grooming for some time now and are always happy with how he looks. We always feel he's been carefully groomed. My Sheltie's coat was DESTROYED due to negligence of the shop and they initially blamed it on me. Until, I showed them photos of the past cuts they've done. The original groomer is no longer working there and, apparently, wrote down the wrong information regarding his cut on the history card. Our Sheltie's mane was shaved off! It will take, at least, a year to grow back. If it grows back at all! When I called to complain, the manager blamed me without a second thought. She said I asked for that cut. NO WAY IN HELL WOULD I HAVE A SHELTIE'S MANE SHAVED OFF!!! After checking with her staff, she realized it was 100% their fault. I spoke to the owner afterward. She accepted responsibility, refunded the charge and said to bring the dog in to clean up the cut they did give him. Later that afternoon the manager called to let me know the charge was reversed and that SHE didn't want us returning to clean- up the cut. Was I livid? Yes! Was I ever insulting or raised my voice? No. I have even waited to write this review for over a week until I calmed down. I have no words.... read more

Love the grooming and care for my very furry dog! He always looks great after being there.

Very well run groomer. They do a great job on my two miniature poodles. Very easy drop off and pick up.

I left a voicemail on a day they were closed. They returned my call by noon the next day and scheduled an appointment just a few days later. (I called Thanksgiving week). Their pricing was fair for a big dog and they gave me a text reminder before and for pickup. Everyone was kind and her haircut was exactly what I asked for. read more

The groomers at Just Grooming are amazing with our dog! He is a doodle mix and they know how to style these breeds without making them look awful or goofy. We're always super pleased with how our dog looks and smells when he's done with a grooming. This gets 4/5 stars because we tend to need our dog's nails trimmed more often. The groomers never trim nails short enough. read more

Wish I knew about this place earlier. They are well priced, friendly, and usually have short notice availability. We were going to Petco for a while but it was only because no where had availability during the pandemic and the follow year. Our dog was NOT a fan of Petco, she would pull on her leash and just generally be scared. She doesn't love getting groomed but she will tolerate it fine at home. Here she hounds through the door and is always happy to see her groomers. 10/10 read more

They are super friendly, consistent and very considerate of how ai want my dog to look! They are a bit of a hike for me but the trip is well worth it. I moved to Glencoe 2 years ago and this was my 3rd groomer I tried and they are great at what they do! I have a mini golden doodle for reference. read more

our dog has never looked more handsome. His fur is soft and his paws and claws are trimmed and neat.

I will go nowhere else. The groomers are kind, responsive, and good. My baby boy loves it. He's not scared. He comes back happy and super clean and smells oh so fresh I am very pleased. This is my go to - will not go anywhere else. read more

Brought our 5 month old Poo-Chon puppy for his first groom. They were professional, sensitive of his comfort levels, and all around seemed patient with an uncooperative puppy. They even stopped the blow drying when he was scared, and let him more or less air dry. It took more time, but they wanted him to have a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend! read more

Easily the best groomer in the area. They remember my pomeranian chihuahua, molly, and always remember her cut. They take extra care with her because she's old. They're good about checking what adjustments need to be made. Their cuts tend to look good for 8 weeks or longer. Glad they're open again from the covid shutdown and glad they're taking precautions to keep the employees safe. read more

these people mutilated my dog. he has cuts in his ears, and clipper burn. i asked them NOT to do a "Boo cut" on my Pomeranian and told them i like his hair longer but trimmed. when i picked him up I was horrified. then they kept telling me "you said two inches". TWO INCHES off his hinds in the back which i pointed out to you was long. never had i said I want it cut all the way around. i have NEVER had a groomer tell me "he was matted" so they have to shave him down like that. my usual place charges me extra and BRUSHES it out because they aren't LAZY. they even CALL EVERY TIME BEFORE CUTTING to CONFIRM WHAT I WANT. there is absolutely no blending, his head looks like he is wearing a helmet. i am literally sick to my stomach i trusted these people with him. taking him to the vet this afternoon to have him looked at. which they also snapped back and said they will refuse to pay his bill. if you want people with no talent and just a pair of clippers to cut your dog, this is the place for you. and had the nerve to beg me not to post a review on Yelp. you guys screwed up and wouldn't even own up to it. EDIT: my dog was last groomed 8 weeks ago, so your statement is wrong. his coat was not matted, just behind the ears which is not unusual. and that is STILL not an excuse to shave him DOWN TO HIS UNDERCOAT!!! People keep asking me "why is he grey?!?" you guys do not even know how to correctly groom a pomeranian! anyone with actual education KNOWS THEY SHOULD NOT BE CUT DOWN LIKE THAT! enroll in some continuing education courses or something because you have done 18 years of taking clippers to dogs apparently, with no actual skills. please google how a Boo cut is damaging to pomernianas. a well educated groomer KNOWS THAT. also, i can post my vet bill if you would like with his antibiotic spray that was prescribed. you have my address, feel free to send me a check for the $92 exam and medication bill. when i came in, you guys made me sign something saying you aren't responsible for injuries during grooming and that should have been the FIRST RED FLAG. never have i had to sign something like that anywhere else i have been. please also learn the definition for the word "baseless", as i have provided all the accurate documentation of what you guys did on this review. read more

I recently took my 65lbs bernedoodle to just grooming and they did an amazing job! My dog is very skittish and timid and they reassured me it would be okay! They were very patient with him from the moment we walked in the door. I felt very comfortable leaving him in their hands. Likewise, they were able to groom him in efficient timing especially considering he is so fearful and they we're very affordable. I will definitely be bringing him back and highly recommend them! read more

We have had nothing but positive experiences with Just Grooming. We have a female standard sized goldendoodle named Dolly. She can be nervous about getting her hair cut and nails trimmed but they always do a wonderful job and she leaves happy! I am so happy to support a small local business, especially during these difficult times. The prices are great and quality is better than anywhere else we've gone to. The staff is also very friendly! read more

I brought my 13 month Havenese to be groomed, buzz cut. The dogs are kept in cages after dropping them off by 10am: Pick up is 330- 4p. After using this service for 2 years with 4 dogs this time was different. The volume of dogs seems to have gone up, the grooming skill down and the price skyrocketed. 85- 95 dollars a dog. 85 for a buzz cut for my 4 pound Yorkie. Upon Pick-up; Joey came to me head down tail dragging. I picked him up and he tightly clung to me. His right eyelash was shaved right off. His white muzzle looked as if it was never washed. I spoke to" Liz" identifies as the owner-hauty and defensive claiming the buzz cut I asked for included buzzing off his eyelash was as ordered. Most important after she became verbally combative, she agreed to wash him over if he was dropped off in the next 2 days. There was no empathy for " Joey" who seemed to be traumatized this time by the experience. It is inconvient for me to return and I just felt my pup was speaking volumes of his experience. Honestly, I opine its now about the money not your dog- and despite this visit being the first of several- I had an issue- it was enough to NEVER return! read more

Wonderful place! Our dog loves it here! Great staff. I'm always greeted personally and they ask about my family ( we all use Just Grooming).

We had our first grooming appt with our new puppy today. They were so good with her from the moment we walked in. They asked me questions about what we wanted and showed examples of different cuts. They also explained what they would do that day, to make sure that our puppy wasn't overwhelmed. Great experience! read more
