Glamour pic upon pic up. That's my daddy with the eye glasses.

This was my first visit to Rogers Bark for a bath and coiffure appointment. My daddy told me it is highly rated and he trusts the personnel there to take care of me. I was dropped off at 7am and really taken care of with kindness and love! I had the most luxurious bath and blow dry followed by a clip, nail trim. I guess I acted so good they put some ribbons in my ears too! I really loved being pampered and I already have an recurring appointment to come back in 6 weeks! So fresh and so clean!

Wonderful experience! I took my basset mix for the bath and brush out package. I normally bathe him myself but I thought this would be a nice treat (for me-not him ), and I wanted to support a local business during the pandemic. The lobby area is very clean and they also sell products like treats and toys, but don't push them on you at all. The person who checked us in and the groomer were both very friendly. All of their staff are wearing masks and switch out the collar and leash before they take them back. Currently, only one family is allowed in the lobby area at a time, with masks as well. They tell you four hours maximum for pickup, but I got a call after 2.5 hours that he was all done and ready for pickup. Ziggy is a sweet pup but always looks like he wants to die while you're bathing him, so I wasn't sure how he would be with new people, but apparently he did great! Ziggy is a short haired guy so no trim, but it cost $85 plus tip for the package including bath, blow dry, brush out, teeth cleaning, ear cleaning, and nail trim. And a cute bandana! I normally pay $5 to wash him myself at the pet store so I'm not really sure if the $85 is standard price or not, but I was really pleased with his nails and ears since he doesn't love when I torture him with that! I would definitely come back, but probably only once or twice a year since it is a little pricey for my budget. Still a fun experience and I would definitely recommend Rogers Bark!

Overall they usually do a nice job and they follow your grooming notes. Heather is great and the staff is very friendly. Today sadly I did not leave as detailed notes as I usually do because the girl working asked if I wanted the same thing as last time. I naively said yes - assuming she had the notes written from our last visit. Overall my dog looks fine, she's still cute, but whoever cut her ears did not do a great job. I totally get it that she can get knots behind her ears because she swims, but then they should cut out the few knots she has not buzz the entire area! Yikes. Luckily it is hair, it will grow, but it doesn't look great... her stomach/ chest area is also uneven. That being said I will return again, but I will be bringing my grooming notes with me!

i've taken my puppy here several times and loved the service and outcome every time. the staff was super caring and efficient. they also didn't rush me to pick up my pup, which was great because i typically have meetings scattered throughout the day and can't always answer right away. if you're looking for a reliable groomers, rogers bark is a great option! my puppy always comes home happy and fresh as ever.

Since my last review of Rogers Bark in 2007, my opinion of this local business has sky-rocketed. I have regularly taken my dog Rock N Roll in for bath time and every once in a while to have a tick painlessly removed. Marie and Val are true professionals with a passion for their work which I have not seen in other pet grooming businesses. Community supporters, Rogers Bark is a positive beacon of light in what can sometimes be an unforgiving neighborhood.

Local neighborhood place for all your dog or cat needs. Friendly professional service. Grooming to wash&dry Selection of foods A neighborhood private business, not a big box indifferent store. They understand our four legged family members are more than a client.

I've been coming to Roger's Bark since 2013 and I would never go anywhere else! The staff has always been friendly and helpful and willing to accommodate my schedule. My little schnauzer, Bear, always comes out fresh and clean and satin-y. He is not a fan of grooming, but the folks at Roger's Bark take good care of him. Bear has large, delicate ears and I how they manage to clean them up without ever hurting him - I'll never know. They also let me know right away if they see a problem that needs care - whether it's dry skin or loose teeth, they are very aware of what is going on with my baby. They are fur-baby magicians! I am, and will continue to be, a loyal customer.

I took my Jack Russell/Yorkie mix here for a full hair cut. Marley is a handful and they gave him an amazingly handsome haircut ! We had a short consultation but I was confident in the groomer that she knew what she was doing. The only bad thing was Marleys nail was cut too short and he's been licking his paw since we got home. We will definitely be back for his next cut and nail trim. Thanks Rogers bark!

I love her little Top Notch :)

Horrible customer service, overpriced, and my dog came back with an injured leg with no explanation from merchant.

We came here the first time last month because our cavapoo desperately needed a cut before she went…read morein for her surgery. I was thrilled that Howlistic Grooming had availability and had such stellar reviews. With the large number of dogs in the area, it's a relief knowing we can book here less than a month in advance. They did a great job taking care of our pup, and she was in a happy mood when we picked her up! We've been back again now for a bath and she is in looks fantastic and smells great! Definitely recommend checking them out!

I rarely leave reviews, but I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Howlistic Grooming…read more This was my dog's second visit, and before leaving him, they specifically asked if he would be receiving the same haircut as last time. I said yes and confidently left, expecting consistency with the previous groom. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. They cut my dog's hair extremely low and completely ignored the previous grooming guidelines. When I expressed my concerns, the groomer responded by saying When I expressed my concerns, the groomer responded by saying she had "shaved his nails for free," which she said is normally a $10 add-on. I explained that it still didn't address the issue at hand and that it should have either been communicated or charged properly as an add-on if that was the case, because it didn't resolve my concern about the haircut. I was told there was "nothing they could do" and that "for future reference" I should bring a photo. I didn't think a photo was necessary for a repeat appointment when the staff made it seem like they already understood what was expected based on his last service. The manager called the next day, listened to everything that happened, and ultimately only reiterated that they do not offer refunds or discounts. No apology, no empathy, and no accountability for the poor experience. The only response I kept hearing was "for future reference." To make matters worse, my dog's ears were cut so short that he barely even looks like he has ears anymore. The haircut looks nothing like the previous groom, and it's honestly upsetting to look at. Since the appointment, he hasn't even seemed like his usual energetic self. I trusted this salon to care for him properly, and instead I left feeling dismissed and deeply disappointed. A total waste of $80 and a tip. PHOTOS BELOW: As you can see in the attached photos, his beautiful black coat was shaved down entirely too close, leaving his face and ears completely bare.
