Upon entering, you'll need to ring the doorbell and speak with a man at the desk. The service is quick, but be sure to bring cash since they don't accept debit cards. As for the food, it smells great and is definitely fresh. The bagels are fluffy and taste excellent, and they are very affordable. A pack of six bagels costs just six dollars, which means each bagel is only one dollar. I suggest picking them up in person rather than ordering through QVC or a delivery service like Uber Eats. It might be just me but... I know from buying Just Bagels on QVC many times before that there was never Xanthan gum in them before,now there is. I read the labels usually when I'm standing there eating the product. I could have sworn they were "all natural", without phony ingredients. They taste different as well. So I was born and raised in Queens. I moved down to FL when I was 28 and was unaware of how awful the food is there. I would come home on visits and pack bagels and pizza to bring back and store in my freezer. My mother is always sending care packages so when she stumbled across Just Bagels providing a subscription for NY bagels, she had to sign me up! I can only speak on my experience with having the bagels shipped and consuming them as soon as I receive it or after it has been in the freezer. Every time I have had them, they tasted better than any FL bagel I have had but of course never as good as the fresh NY bagels! I have only tried the Everything bagels. We tried to sign up for a variety of bagels to be sent via subscription but through the place my mom orders them from (I believe it is a 3rd party business), you can only order 1 flavor for the whole package. I believe now you can create a subscription that has two flavors through the Just Bagels website. I have never had an issue with flavor, quality, or shipping. The packaging has always been on point. There has never been anything missing. I speak about those factors because I have had so many issues with so many businesses regarding missing or damaged items arriving at my home. If you are a NYer and live out of state, I recommend trying Just Bagels to cure being homesick. read more

Pretty good. Nice malty-ish flavor - toppings really taste good. Not as dense or doughy as an authentic NY bagel, but better than bagels from a grocery store. This has nothing to do with quality of the bagels, but rather the shipping & delivery via UPS (2 day) which in turn affects freshness. My shipment was in transit for 3 days and as a transplanted New Yorker would never pay full price for 3 (maybe 4 days if prepared one day earlier) day old bagels. Remember there are NO preservatives in these bagels. Change your shipping carrier if UPS can't deliver perishable food items in guaranteed time-frame. I won't order again. Back to New Yorker Bagels. Disappointing. Would not order Again. As a native New Yorker, these bagels are pretty much supermarket/mass produced quality. There's a decidedly raw flour (bitter) taste to them. Nothing special about these bagels. The price had me interested, but they fell short. I should mention that the bagels were also in a box for 2 days with Fedex. I lived in Brooklyn for 30 years - so I know bagels. These are pretty bad. Bagels are considerably smaller than bagels you can have shipped from other companies. Fed Ex shipping took 3 days instead of 2, so I got 4 dozen bagels that were sitting in the back of hot FedEx trucks for 3 days. That aside, the bagels are just plain bad. Sesame bagels are very salty, pumpernickel bagels are tan, not brown, and don't taste like pumpernickel, blueberry bagels taste as sweet as cake - way too sweet for a bagel, multi grain bagels taste like cardboard, I could go on, but you get the idea. You are not going to find a better bagel here in Florida. If you where raised in Brooklyn Sheepshead Bay Or Coney Island you will be disappointed. They are good but miss the mark of those local Jewish bakeries that bake several times a day. Mass production and four day delivery really take a hit on quality. Bake and ship on Monday and delivery on Thursday is not acceptable. UPS stinks for perishables. I buy bagels from another source in the Bronx and it is delivered in two days no problem via FEDEX.
