On an evening where I just wanted to lounge around and watch college football games without going anywhere, I ordered from Jurassic Grill online via yelp with Grubhub delivery. At the time, Jurassic Grill was ranked #4 as I searched 'Beyond Burger', and it was one of the restaurants that offered delivery. On the menu, I was drawn to vegetarian options, the herbivorous burger, and the herbivorous cheeseburger. Out of the two, I ended up ordering the herbivorous burger along with cajun fries, and a canned fanta orange soft drink. It took twenty-eight minutes from the time my order was acknowledged by Grubhub to the arrival of it at my hotel. A shout out to the Grubhub delivery driver for making that happen in that reasonable time as well as contacting me rather than leaving it at the main desk with no contact whatsoever. I just could not resist eating the cajun fries before even taking them out of the bag, tehehe. They were so good! Seasoned perfectly inside of a cup which reminded me of the fries sold at Five Guys Burgers and Fries! Now as for the herbivorous burger, I could not help but moan after taking my first few bites of it! ** This review is for the food truck, not the establishment on Green St** My husband and I came across this food truck about a month ago. We decided to stop and try it out - we were hungry and it had been awhile since we tried something new (for us). We ordered the T. Rex cheeseburger with A-1 and fresh jalapenos added, and a side of Cajun fries. They have other toppings as well. Lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, ketchup etc.. all free of charge, with the exception of cheese, but you have the option to get one without, of course, for less (I should also add here, in reference to another review that complained about wanting a single burger but getting a double -- they are ALL double burgers, not single, which we personally appreciate but I digress). They were both FANTASTIC. The burgers are perfectly cooked without being "well done" (minimal pink inside and very flavorful/not at all chewy but still "done"). The fries taste hand cut, although I'm not sure if they actually are. You also have the option to get regular fries but we like a bit of spice. Also, these aren't smash burgers, but regular patties, so the toppings actually stay inside the bun when you eat it. Love that. We liked it so much that we have been back twice after that when they're at their usual spot in our area. The second time we added bacon. It was okay in my opinion, but I prefer it without. They also have empanadas, which we tried the first time, and they too were 'okay', but I'm also an empanada snob and compare every single one I eat to Antojitos in San Diego, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Went back for the 3rd time today and the food was just as good as the last 2 times. Service is VERY friendly and ohhh man, they must have the patience of a thousands saints, considering the first time we went there, there was a terribly demanding and flat out rude couple ahead of us, and they handled it with way more professionalism and grace than I everrrr would have when I was working in the service industry, and I have a rather long fuse. This has become our favorite burger truck in the C/U area (granted the only other burger truck we've tried is Smith Burgers, which is just alright, but being smash burgers, they're very sloppy to eat). No juice in the patty. I would hardly even call it beef. You do get a large selection of free condiments which did not impress either. I had been meaning to try Jurassic after the Empanadas House closed, which was there before. One hungry afternoon after class I checked the Hooked app and saw Jurassic had $2 off. Perfect opportunity! Walked into the store and checked out the menu, which is very straightforward and pretty consolidated. I got a T-Rex bacon cheeseburger with a bunch of my favorite toppings, for a little over $5, which, for the size, and amount of calories, was a steal. The burger was tasty! Nicely put together and blended well with the fresh-tasting ingredients. Didn't get any fries or anything with it. If you're looking for a big, greasy mouthful of 'Merica, this it in all its glory. Overall it's a solid fast burger place, perhaps expensive without the Hooked deal, but I wouldn't quite say the best burger in C-U, either. In my opinion Farren's probably takes that cake. read more

Great burgers, just as good as Meatheads or Five Guys, but cheaper... and they deliver late! I love how many of the toppings are free, the Brontosaurus burger with everything on it is great. Be careful you don't get eaten by T-Rex while in the restroom. What makes this charburger place unique from all others is that their normal burgers include two meat patties. My girlfriend was hurt and she wanted something to eat so I took her here. The thing that irritated me was I asked for ranch for the food I ordered and they tried to charge me .50 cents I didn't have any change on me and I tried to use my debit card but they said I have to at least spend a dollar just for ranch. Jurassic grill consistently has quality food and the process are pretty great. They have unlimited toppings and the Cajun fries are great. If you don't eat red meat you can sub for veggie or chicken easily. They also have empanadas, chicago style hot dogs, and amazing cheese fries. JG is an order at the counter type of place. There are a few tables but it's great for take out. (nice cause their arnt many take out burger places on campus) the furnishing is simple, but they're open late so you can stop by after the bars for the best late night food.
