I do not recommend this company! Their customer service is terrible. The technicians are very nice and do great work but I had an issue with not having a membership even though I told the tech that I wanted to renew it when he was at our house performing service on our AC. When I called for more service on my AC 2 weeks later, the woman in customer service was very nasty, not helpful and basically hung up on me. She did not seem to care that I have been a customer of all 3 of their services for many years. Call someone else. read more

I have an annual contract - my kitchen faucet had a very small drip. Their service person came - the estimate was $750.00 for a new faucet including installation. Or $350.00 if I provided the new faucet. So I called another plumbing company. In 15 minutes the person fixed the problem by tightening something that was loose. He fixed it on the spot & charged $150.00 service charge. He said the faucet is perfectly good but that this one thing sometimes gets loose. No big deal! Do not hire Xtra Mile because they will rip you off. I call this FLEECING. read more

Extremely upset with this company. I have vents that have black spots all over my house. Was told by NUMEROUS vendors it was because the UV light I was sold by XtraMile for $1,000 (!!!!!!!!) wasn't working and was a bulb that you can get at home depot for $70. When I spoke to him, his tone was rude and un-helpful. The man who came out to my house previously for a routine checkup said he could clean the ducts for ANOTHER $1,000. I said no thank you and went online and found various companies that do it for $100!!!!!!! This company is a major rip off. I paid over $8,000 for an HVAC system for a 2/2. What a joke. First, my technician, K. Lopez, is very courteous and professional. Very knowledgeable. The problem is that the Daikin AC system I have owned for 5 years has had numerous problems. this is the reason you can't trust anybody! xtra mile tried to trick me into buy this thermostat for $279 dollars from them i went on amazon and bought the exact same one for $36 dollars i will never ever use them again!!! the tech michael start setting me up when he first got there saying that mr insurance will not cover the thermostat!!!!! i got suspicious then.he called my insurance (not in front of me) and she called me right away with that price $279 i told her absolutely positively no way im going to pay 8x more for that cheap ass thermostat i went to home depot and bought one for $32 and had it installed by a electrician for $50!!!! please do your home work when it comes to this company!!!! I do not recommend. I strated with Jupiter Tequesta AC, which was purchased by FPL Home, who was later sold to Xtra Mile. With each transition service went down and price went up. They constantly call you trying schedule services and service people are trained to sell you everything possible. I am now officially done with them after the parts manager, Dwayne, did not return 3 calls I made to him regarding a part that I needed. Very unprofessional...... He was upset about a prior issue when I was unable to accept a part. He seems to have forgotten who the customer was..... Really sick of the phone calls. 5 days after my last service I got another call telling me that I a due for service. Just got another one today and that is why I finally decided to post..... Also stopped using them for my Generator.... Told me 4 years ago to replace my 40Kw Generac since it was a model that was made for a short period but it is still running great with no problems. Jupiter/Tequesta was a family business that cared.... These guys only car about making money. Oh, and it is not an American company that owns XtraMile. The are UK based. Buy American! read more

Technician came for service call. Threw breaker and solved problem. Sold me a Service Plan for $129 that he said covered Electric, Plumbing, AND Air-conditioning. He was clear about this, or why would he have mentioned Plumbing and AC on an electric service call. Found out 6 weeks later that only Electric is covered. Not worth it at all. I had an amazing tech come to my house today Brent. It was supposed to be a simple check up tuneup. He informed me that my waterlines were backwards and asked me if I had any problems since I had the unit which was installed by his company since then I've had two other inspections and tuneups and no one has mentioned it. it seem to be not an easy job. I was not thoroughly happy. I had to cancel an 11 o'clock appointment because it took him many many hours to fix it but on his part we thank him on the other side.
