Taylor Legue came out to diagnose the problem I was having with a thermostat. He figured out immediately that the thermostat needed to be replaced but examined the 2 AC units while he was here. he took photos of the units: rusted, loose wires, leaking air, filled drip pans, filthy ducts and vents, etc. I was SHOCKED since we have paid another company for YEARS for annual check-ups. I paid $635 in June for servicing that obviously wasn't performed correctly (if at all) AND that created a leak that had to be repaired 2 weeks later. I feel betrayed b/c we were the first customer of this company decades ago and were "rewarded" for our loyalty with deception and overcharging. Xtramile replaced both units the next day. Taylor gave me his cell number to call with any questions or concerns and I did. Carlos and the installation team worked from 9am to 8:30 pm to complete the job. Who wants to call an electrician, plumber or AC guy? And spend countless time leaving messages and never getting what you need? No one! I trembled this morning searching for an electrician. I prepared myself for investing an hour with hope that I might get a call back in 3 days and a guy would show up in a week. I had no faith in my first call BUT I got an automated voice response that promised to connect me with a live person - and that happened! Live person listened to what I needed and said she'd get an electrician to my house between 5 and 7 pm. $129 service fee plus whatever the repair cost. Wow! I said yes and fully expected a no show or the guy showing up at 8. But Troy contacted me at 3 to come early. He arrived at 3:30 and finished the job before 5 pm. Amazing. I only made 1 call! I called Xtra Mile Friday afternoon with an emergency - I had a broken underground pipe caused by an overgrown tree root. They immediately sent Seth over, he let us know exactly when he would be here and got here on time. Seth spent 4-5 hours digging around the tree root, cutting the root off, then cutting and re-routing the whole pipe system, and all this on his Friday night, and under a DELUGE! He stayed until he finished the job, I am very grateful to both Seth and Xtra Mile for the prompt service, quality work, and excellent communication with us through the entire process. read more

I bought blue lights for my relatively new A/C unit from Xtra Mile. After a while, the lights were causing holes in the air filters. it took a third technician, Arthur Palmer, for the problem to be solved. Mr. Palmer came for a maintenance call. I explained to him my issue and the next day he came back and installed the part that fixed the issue. I command Mr. Palmer for his work ethics and dedication to customer satisfaction. I called in the morning as my AC was out and they sent someone same day And on time, Great! The technician Jimmy Aguirre was great. Got to the problem and unfortunately it is an old system and we talked about replacing the system. And he arranged for someone to come out same day to evaluate. Installed upstairs neighbors AC unit - leaked into our lower condo. Found out the Juno beach building inspector allows self inspection from Xtra Mile! Leak was caused by improperly assembled plastic drain pipe. Extra mile still hasn't replaced damaged insulation. Juno Beach refuses to give money back for permit- even though they never did the inspection. Never say never but highly likely we won't have them back anytime soon! read more

He takes the time to get to know his customers and pets, is very respectful of your property and takes the time to explain all that he is doing. the technition evaluated the temperature of all faucets. checked the voltage on the water heater, they were good. added 10 more degrees to the heater. told me if the temperature fluctuates again in may require replacement of the filaments that control the water temperature. he was very efficient, curteous, explained to me how the heater may need filaments replaced if the water temperature doesn't stay constant. read more

James was concise and comforting on the current needed work of having the water solar heater removed from roof and everything re-plumbed. Very happy with the help I received. My home had an open permit that needed to be signed off. Lisa was very efficient in setting up the appointments. Brian K was on site when the inspector arrived and ensured the permit was closed. This was an issue that was not taken care of by the company that installed my AC unit. Sylnair was the technician who performed the repair. I was disappointed to find that there was a leak in the unit. I'm unsure of what the cost should be. However, I will say that Sylnair did a great job of diagnosing the problem and resolve the issue quickly and professionally. He was very respectful and friendly. Sam J was extremely efficient with our air conditioning problem we'd scheduled 16 hours prior. He knew exactly what was wrong & what repairs we needed. The tech James was on time and very personable. He was sent out to check what I thought was a leak in the main pipe to the house on the outside. After examining the pipe James assured me that there was no leak and explained why I was seeing the collection of growth on the outside of the pipe and what I would see if there were a leak. Eddie Vargas from Xtra Mile AC did an excellent job servicing our AC system. He checked and cleaned the unit, as well as recommended a protective coating for the outside unit to protect it from corrosion. Finally, the unit had mold from all the humidity, which he cleaned and recommended a light to kill the bad stuff. He was on time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. read more
