Came here for the first time over the weekend. Covid hours are terrible, but the staff was super friendly and cool, the space was awesome (dogs inside) and you could tell this would be an awesome weekend spot. A fun, lively spot with a decent bar and beer selection and a helluva lot of pinball machines! The pinball machines spanned about 5 decades and were mostly awesome. A few were out of order and a couple just ate our quarters, which was annoying, but most of them were in great shape. There were also quite a few other video games around. My husband and I came as we were wondering the streets of Seattle. We noticed the very cool vibe, and decided to check it out. There are arcade games (not sure how much) and a pool table. Bring quarters -- all of the arcade games were nostalgic. The crowd is mostly older millennials who grew up playing arcade games. My husband loves playing billiards, so he wanted to play. I just wanted a drink and went to the bar. The drinks are not too expensive! I love all of the artwork and wall murals -- feels very art village 'Seattle' to have so many local artists contribute to this bar. There was actually an artist at the front in action! He was painting a person and selling paintings too. I did not eat here though. We stayed for an hour or two, people watching is amazing! read more

Cool bar, but the bartenders need to go back to the basics.... Ordered a Cape Cod and received the wrong drink - a Madras. Ok, no big deal ... not everyone knows the old-school drink names. Yelped this bar while in town & visiting Seattle for the 1st time. We initially chose this place because of the vibe we felt it offered based on the pictures and reviews we seen. This was our 1st bar stop of the night because we were "bar hoping for the night". The security at the front door was very friendly and made conversation with us regarding the super bowl Win for the Philadelphia Eagles. The mural paintings inside this bar are amazing and the arcade is very fun as well. Our bartender was great on recommending us drinks. & all the recommendations were awesome. It was interesting to us that there (cooking area) is right at the entrance in an open space, and it kinda looks like it's part of the bar. It was cool because we got to see the cook prepare our sandwiches and sliders we ordered . Definitely be back to this place while in Seattle. read more

Super disappointed to have to leave a bad review, because I was hoping to have a great time here tonight, but was denied entry for no reason. My friends and I showed up in festive holiday attire (I was in a black top, skirt, tights, high heeled boots, and just so happened to also be wearing a Santa hat). The doorman super passive-aggressively turned me and my friends away because of our "Santa outfits", so we didn't get the chance to go in. Definitely won't be back to this establishment, unless they hire a new doorman. read more

While I would love to review the bar, I did not get past the angry Grinch of a doorman. I was wearing a red turtleneck, and red shoes. The reason my buddy and I came to Seattle got cancelled and he needed a drink. There's a ton of bars in Seattle as expected and well we had to choose one. So the Jupiter Bar was the one. They carded him at the door 'cause he looks like he's 12 and I'm old as dirt so they graciously let me in. Nice guy! The bar was busy but not overly crowded. An arcade to the rear was hopping and then there's all that art everyone is raving about and they should it's amazing. I'm not a drinker and I always feel awkward sitting at a bar if all I'm drinking is water. The bartender was really cool to my buddy who is a Marine - I think he gave him a discount and was really respectful to him. Hey - the bar is cool - but the genuineness is what earns 5 stars. That's admirable in my book. He had his drink and off we went. I have to say the vibe, aura, coolness is what really drew us in. The neighboring bars, however, kept us away. This is one of the best new places I've experienced in Seattle in years. - 20+ pinball games, some other original arcade games like Ms Pac Man, pool table. - A new-to-me game called Killer Queen where my friends and I battled 5 new friends who happened to be at the bar. 10 people can play simultaneously for $1 and it even has multiple cupholders for their drinks - One bar at the front for people who want to take a break from games to drink and eat, one in the back near the room of games - Awesome art murals, some of which are amusingly topical like the sesame street pinball 123456789101112 piece - My cocktail with blood orange Rachel's ginger beer and bourbon was tasty - Full food menu with vegetarian options (will need to sample on my next visit) - More variety of non-alcoholic options than most bars I've visited including various flavors of La Croix and specialty sodas, juices, etc - Multiple change machines, multiple bathroom stalls so that more time can be spent gaming - A surprisingly diverse crowd by most definitions of such, many of whom wore interesting outfits (a few examples: hot pink fun fur, suit covered in pot leaves, '70s shirt and bellbottoms, fancy clubwear) - All '90s music the evening I was there but reasonably decent selections vs feeling like a generic "best of" or karaoke playlist read more

An adult arcade full of pinball machines a dj spinning records on vinyl, local artists and art there wow. Where do I start? This place is full of action. As it has all the aforementioned things going on. There was an artist painting a portrait of a couple sitting there and of course the have all the booze. My wife and I walked in and were treated great. We really enjoyed this place my wife loved the walking dead pinball machine haha. Pretty funny stuff takes you back to the 80's. Not only are the tacos from Situ Tacos great, the owner went above and beyond when I needed help getting a receipt for my expense report. I love that everything on the menu is gluten free AND it's in a bar! Great food, great people, all around positive experience. Highly recommend. This place is cool, large, lots of great art on the walls and Killer Queen is a fun party game. UNFORTUNATELY I got double charged ($14 for the drinks/tip I actually bought, plus a mysterious $18 charge). I rarely have the time or inclination to go back to places like this and fight for my $20 back so a negative review will have to do. I understand that mistakes are made but it doesn't really make me feel that much better about patronizing their establishment when going out and drinking in Seattle is already a pretty expensive affair. You have a variety of arcade games to choose from, from single player to multi player along side old school arcade games such as pinball and pacman. Each game has a place for you to set your drink down while you play and they also have small sitting areas ( not many) for you to sit IF you choose to take a break from the games. This place! Is what I will scream anytime I ride through Belltown and need a place to go! This place is so cool. It's a bar, it's got food, it has all the games that bring back my childhood and tons of pinball! Old vintage games and brand new games! The AC/DC one and Metallica one and the Dracula one and the joust are my faves and I could just keep going on. I just went to the soft opening party here and it's exactly what Belltown needed. It's the only place in town with a pool table also. I've heard rave reviews about the food but I was to busy frequenting both bars and playing pinball to eat. I will be back. A lot. This place will be a Seattle staple as sure as that space needle and Pikes place. Matter of fact, it's only a few. blocks from there. Shit. Let me tell you about the art in this place. Been here a few times now. Really awesome vibes in the barcade area. Vibrant and unique art, a large variety of new and classic pinball machines, intimate seating or tables for groups. It's a lot of fun! Not as much variety as Vidiot but still really good. I wouldn't bother ordering food or hanging out in the front bar area. Their paninis are lackluster for the price and their bartenders at the front bar are inattentive and rude. They will literally ignore you and have a conversation as you stand in front of them at an empty bar. This has happened on two separate occasions but the bartender in the back is friendly. Avoid the front bar area and I definitely recommend. read more

The décor is top notch here filled with amazing art that covers the wall in an appropriate retro style with touches of neon. It's like the basement gameroom turned up to 11. The bar has some fancy drinks that can be a bit pricey. But it's all about the pinball here with 5 rows of machines to play on and some other arcade units including Killer Queen (KQ was broken on this visit). Great adult arcade! Back bar is much more comfortable than the front one, feels like two different venues. Back area could use more seating options, but there is a big booth if you're with a crowd. read more

Stopped in to check out Jupiter on my last business trip to Seattle. This has got to be one of the coolest bars I've ever been to! Checking out the murals throughout this place is worth the visit alone! Drank Rainier out of a can and played some of my favorite pinball games from childhood. Superbly cool spot! Great pinball games, set up, and artwork. I enjoyed the sandwiches and went for the meatball. Unfortunately my ratings come from a place of service which was well not there at all. There was hardly any acknowledgement when we sat down to order. I asked the usual how are you and all I got was what can I get you. It took a while to order and it was not busy. Second time to order they were "gossiping" as the bartender stated which is whatever but at least make notice I was there. Then to close out was also rough. Great service would have put this place at 5 stars. I'd love to work at this spot and don't understand why they didn't seem to enjoy it. My friend and I sat at the bar for ten minutes before the bartender came. There were four other people behind the bar claiming that they weren't working. My wife and I are in Seattle for our first time ever. We spent all day being recommended this bar. When walking in I was told I was too drunk to enter after slipping down the slanted walk. I had a subtalor dislocation 2 years ago and constantly stumble when I walk because of it. I almost lost my foot and this reminded me of it. The bouncer who took me out was as nice as could be. My group was done from the Escape room upstairs and we decided to stop in the Barcade to check it out. We are happy we did. Lots of interesting games,both old and new. Loved the X-men game(reminded me of high school) and we even tried out the Killer Queen game in the back corner. Along with some pinball and some drinks we had a good night. Then we made it back up front for a solid DJ and some light dancing before calling it a night. A fun chill time for all! read more
