The staff was friendly and professional. The bar area where we ate was clean. The fried calamari, fried grouper and fried shrimp were deliciously crunchy and tasted very fresh. Somewhat casual this is a place the locals go to enjoy great seafood at a reasonable price for the area. Service is very good. The almond crusted Mahi was insanely tasty and the hot melted lemon butter was also delicious. The fresh dinner rolls were also a big plus. read more

It's a Robert Irvine Restaurant Impossible episode waiting to happen. When we arrived the patio was stacked with chairs and we were not sure if the restaurant was open or not. We proceeded to the entrance and we were greeted by a man in gym clothes hosing down the half ripped apart minimal landscaping around the front door. We had to ask if the restaurant was even open. He replied, "yes but not until 5", it was around 10 minutes after 5p at this time. We went inside and were presented an early bird menu that had a few dishes priced higher than the regular menu so I guess their philosophy is charge more for early service? We ordered the calamari and half the dish was hot and half the dish was cold. The cold pickled hot peppers were served on top of the hot food which I found odd. There were a dozen or so wine bottles on top of the bar some opened and some closed. The bar was relatively empty so not sure why they were there? The air vents were black, the equipment behind the bar was missing dials and the refrigerator doors were drooping. They also have lights inside the bar cabinets which were hanging out of the electrical socket. I looked online and found 11 health department violations which after looking around seemed a little merciful. The gentleman who met us at the front door proceeded to clean the glass doors and floors in gym clothes while helping to seat the customers he looked as though he just woke up and ran into work so I am guessing he might be the owner? The staff looked somewhat surprised at his appearance and behavior. The gym clothes wearing man proceeded to hang up a vinyl banner on the way out that says "Yes we are open". Ordered the grouper sandwich it was dry and tasteless, looked more like an overcooked piece of flounder than a grouper. The NE Clam Chowder was meh nothing to write about, some canned versions are a lot better in taste. Read nothing but good things but they didn't deliver on the expectations. The waitress was rude and couldn't be bothered. Definitely wouldn't return, shame really since many said it was a must try place. Waitress Yesenia was rude, nasty, and unprofessional. Had a 7 pm reservation and never saw any food until 8:45. Waitress told our party she EXPECTED at least a 20% tip as the man at the next table was alone and gave her a $50 tip. An absolute tragedy. I simply list the issues and say no more. 1. The A/C is out. 2. Seated outside by the noisy street 3. For 15 minutes nobody came to our table. 4. At 30 minutes into our dinner no drinks had been served. 5. When the wine came after 30 minutes, server broke the cork. 6. Again 5-7 minutes later new bottle brought. Server struggled to open. 7. Server could not pour wine as glasses were filthy. 8. 5 minutes later or 40-45 minutes after we sat down wine served. 9. Plates were not cleared. 10. Silverware was missing. 11. Wine was never once poured. 12. For the main course mashed potatoes were both lumpy and cold. 13. They advertise 1/2 price wines on Sunday and Monday sadly management makes up what bottle it applies too. Guests are left in the dark guessing. 14. I addressed the 1/2 price wine question. Manager blamed me for not divining which wines it applies to. There is no way to know. He was rude. 15. Server complained all night they are short staffed. Manager said Sunday night's are easy. New management, food quality has declined. Went to the Fish House in March and was extremely disappointed. Ordered the almond crusted mahi mahi which had been a favorite, but was overcooked (burnt) and greasy. I left most of it on my plate. It seems that the new owner is trying to make the place seem more upscale by switching to stemmed water glasses and increasing the menu size and drink options. However, the quality of the food has plummeted. (Too many options for the cook staff?) I talked to the manager when I exited, but he was apathetic, and made no attempt to take ownership of the problem (comp my meal, apologize, anything). The only positive, from my point of view, was the experienced wait staff, who may not choose to stay. I do not plan to return. Not sure if they were having an off night or what, but I ordered the seared sesame crusted ahi tuna and something was off about it as well as the vegetables. I started with the Caesar salad which also tasted a bit odd and very bland and had to ask for more dressing. Within a couple of hours of eating there I had gotten sick from food poisoning. I'm glad I tried this place. It was not very busy for lunch on a weekday. It is off-season I guess. The service was wonderful. I wish I remembered her name. She was friendly and offered menu recommendations. She highly recommended the salmon Florentine but that was too similar to my recent meals. I had the stuffed shrimp lunch platter with coleslaw. The crabmeat was delicious with no filling. Shrimp were a little small but not for lunch or the price!! I enjoyed the coleslaw. I did try the steamed broccoli side and that was great also. I'm not a bread eater. At all. I will be back for theirs. It was warm, crunchy, soft. Delicious. Large portion. They served it with olive oil and herbs for dipping. Three words. Lobster Special Tuesday! I've been here twice and each experience has been wonderful. My parents insist we go here every time they visit because the lobster is SO GOOD. I mean, where else can you go to get a 2 lb. lobster for $23.99? This is a special Tuesday deal, but the restaurant serves lobster at a pretty fair price everyday. You can also get a 1.5 lb. lobster on Thursdays for $21.99. The meal comes with choice of starter- clam chowder or salad. I've had both and they are oth good. You also have a choice of a side with your lobster. The garlic mashed potatoes are super yummy. When the lobster arrived, the restaurant has already done the hard part and cracked the hardest parts for you, making the experience that much enjoyable. The dessert is also oh so good. The chocolate macadamia brownie ($6) is deliciously chocolatey and comes with ice cream(see picture) but my favorite had to be our last waiter's suggestion- the pineapple upside-down cake ($6) which has that pineappley goodness. Every time I've been here, the service has been great. It's got a cute Florida diner-like decor as 70's tunes softly play in the background which is reminiscent of good simpler times. We've been here now three times and have left happy each time. They have a good menu and are very accommodating if you have a food allergy. The price is average for what you expect in Jupiter. The service is phenomenal. We've had the seafood pasta, the seafood bouillabaisse, the chowder, blackened fish sandwich, conch fritters, grilled fish - all have been perfect. Cocktails are adequately poured. There are a lot of seating options. We discussed my options etc. The person who served my meal gave me my dinner and i questioned whether it was GF (an item on the plate looked like something i knew i couldn't eat). We went to celebrate a special evening and had Michelle as a server. The ambience was great and given the coronavirus quarantine restrictions they did an amazing job at maintaining social distancing.
