I used these services to empty out storage in my basement. Howard and Aaron were efficient, professional, and methodical in getting the job completed quickly. I would highly recommend them as a team, and JunkRelief as a service to family and friends FOR sure. We were very pleased with the work performed at a fair price. read more

I called yesterday to get a quote to have a couch and twin recliners picked up. I quickly received a response, worked out the details, and got our pickup scheduled for this morning. I received a text when they were on their way. There were no hidden charges or anything crazy like that. The two men that arrived were very courteous, quickly picked up the items, and then we were done. I would definitely use Junk Relief again. Also, I think the name is so appropriate because I have a huge sense of relief! Thank you, Junk Relief! read more

We had a house cleanout at my parents' house, where they'd been accumulating stuff for 40 years. The crew that helped us; Howard, Ramiro, and Nayeli (and three other gents whose names I didn't catch... SORRY!!!) couldn't have been better. I just pointed them at all the junk and it disappeared. The cost came in at slightly less than the estimate, which was awesome. The crews themselves were on-time, efficient, friendly, and thoughtful. They even put aside things they thought I might still want, for evaluation. Every part of the process was utterly transparent and everyone I interacted with was professional, friendly, and helpful. I wish I would've done this far sooner. I'll be calling back to deal with my own house! Thank you! read more

I was moving and had no idea how to get rid of a few large items that I couldn't move myself. I had checked out a few companies that seemed too expensive for the things I needed removed (a bed, exercise equipment and area rug). Luckily, I found JUNK Relief on Yelp and they were true to their 5-star reviews! Everyone I communicated with, by phone and email, was highly-professional, friendly and helpful. On the morning of pick-up, I received a reminder email and, as promised, I received a text message about 30 minutes before the gentlemen arrived. They got here about 15 minutes into the 3-hour window and were super-professional and quick. I don't think the process could have been easier. I also appreciated receiving an emailed receipt immediately after payment. JUNK Relief is the gold standard for outstanding customer service and quality. Thank for your help! read more

They responded quickly and were very efficient. Pricing was very fair as well. Would use them again in the future.

Wow. What an easy and smooth experience. I have had a heavy portable air conditioner in my closet for years that I wasn't using and finally decided to reclaim the storage space. I also wanted to make sure I got rid of this a/c unit in an earth-friendly way. I received an answer to my online quote request early the day after I submitted it, and they were able to fit me in that same day. The cost was very reasonable. The guys called before, and then again on, arrival. They were masked (as was I) and gloved, and in/out within 5-10 minutes. This was a great experience and truly a relief! read more

Great service. Prompt, courteous and efficient. Alex was a pleasure to deal with, gave me a quote immediately on the phone and in a couple of days sent his crew over to haul away my stuff. Excellent experience. read more

JUNK Relief was extremely responsive with providing a quote and return emails, plus gave an incredibly competitive price for picking up our unwanted items. Edwin and Pablo were terrific. They were on time, efficient and very courteous taking their shoes on and off as they came in and out of the house. I'd highly recommend this company! read more

Wow. Unbelievably good service from this company. We needed a baby grand piano moved out of 3rd floor walk up. I called JUNK Relief yesterday afternoon and the gentleman I spoke with was super informative and gave me a reasonable quote. He said that they could have a crew out as early as tomorrow (today). The crew came early! They called ahead and asked if it was ok to come early and if it wasn't, they would be happy to wait outside. The gentlemen (and I use this term purposefully) who came were extremely polite. They came up and found the piano to be quite large and told me it would be very difficult to get out given the angles of our apartment. I expected this to be the end, however, they immediately got to work on finding a solution. They went through the process of sawing the piano into pieces small enough to get out. They were done quickly, cleaned up to the point where the area was more clean than when the arrived, and the price was the exact price that I was quoted on the phone. It's extremely rare these days to have this type of service (and I would know given the fact that we are getting ready for a move and are dealing with many different vendors for all kinds of reasons). I cannot recommended JUNk Relief more highly. Excellent business! #Integrity read more

From the first phone call until the guys just left with a garage full of my junk - Junk Relief made this an unbelievably easy, relaxed, fast and positive experience. I love a company that shows up on time, does the job pleasantly and efficiently, cleans up any mess and at a fair price. What else can you ask for? These guys are THE BEST. Junk Relief - This is what they picked up. It took them about 15 minutes. I was AMAZED! - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I would recommend Jese of 1-800-JUNK-Relief for junk pickup. He came with a partner, Pablo. Jese took care not to bang into the walls and door frames while taking items outside. Appreciated the attention to detail. Thank you! read more

Not to quote R. Kelly but...."Now usually I don't do this" but I had to leave a review because this service was outstanding!!!! I called several times during the week attempting to find a time slot that worked and Shayla was more than happy to help me every time. Other places couldn't give me a price and wanted me to sit through the awkwardness of having someone come out and me having to send them away due to an outrageous price, but not Junk Relief. They gave me a beyond fair price as soon as I described my items and on the day of Joe gave me the option to adjust the price according to more or less items. The two guys that came to remove everything were professional and courteous and above all fast. I had some big items to move and they did it quickly and neatly. If you find yourself with junk to move make your only call be to 1-800-JUNK-Relief. read more

I was looking to remove demo materials from my condo and in the same day as contacting Junk Relief, I had a quote based off pictures, a scheduled appt and a COI for my HOA. The crew showed up a couple minutes early and were very respectful of the space and building and my final price was within the quote range I was given. Would definitely recommend! read more

Awesome, super easy, loved them. They sent a confirmation email immediately after booking, I was quoted a good price (compared to the other 2 places I called), they called 30 minutes ahead of time and showed up right in the beginning of the time slot. All I had to get rid of were a couch and a table, and they were in and out in 5 minutes, totally painless. I would recommend them. read more

Absolutely awesome!!!!! I'm moving today and reached out early afternoon with a request to pick up a ton of garbage we'd placed in the garage. Within two hours, two guys showed up and quickly removed everything. Amazing service. Thanks much! read more

Took me only 10 minutes to arrange everything. Fair price. In and out. Done. Just what I needed.

I contacted Junk Relief to help remove packing materials after relocating our business. We had numerous dumpster's worth of pallets, packing material, and boxes, and I thought it would take forever to gather and discard everything. It was very easy to obtain a quote and schedule service. The people at Junk Relief did a great job. They worked very efficiently and were able to pack it all down into a minimal size in a short amount of time. They were also professional and courteous. The whole experience was positive. read more

Yelp messaged this company, v. quick response. Able to accommodate me on short notice. V. helpful and nice. Thank you to Q. & Francisco!

Couldn't recommend enough. It couldn't have been easier to schedule and the gentlemen who came were on time and very nice. Their quote to remove a large sectional was very reasonable. I will use them again for my next junk removal for sure. Highly recommend. read more

I'd like to chalk this up to an off day/week, but hard to say after just this one experience. Unfortunately I was left dissatisfied about their handling of the basic details: for the first appointment they did not put me in their schedule even after sending a confirmation email and for the rescheduled appointment they did not come within the three hour window (25 minutes late). Getting rid of the stuff itself was fine, but my main issue is the time wasted and the inconvenience that this caused as I am working with limited time. I appreciate their courtesy in recognizing their mistakes by comping the service (hence three stars), so hope to see better in the future should I use them again. Q and Edwin did the job quickly and were fine - was a quick small job, so no complaints on actually getting the service done. Couldn't seem to take themselves/me seriously when they suggested that I use them again given that they were aware of the issues that I was having with this company. They and the person I spoke to on the phone seemed surprised that I couldn't wait indefinitely, so didn't love that, but hey at least they mostly responded appropriately, so can't complain too much. read more

Michael and Jose got here on time, in the beginning of my removal window and efficiently and carefully removed what I needed to have removed and were super nice and polite. They even managed to easily get a large portable basketball hoop moved put. Gentlemen and Junk Relief cannot thank you enough! Would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

Perfect experience! I requested a price quote through Yelp and JUNK Relief was quick to respond and very reasonably priced. They came out the next day right on time during their delivery window. I received a text notification a half hour before arrival. There were 2 men that took our 'junk' - they were nice and polite. They loaded the items quickly and the price charged was exactly what was quoted. I would definitely use them again. read more
