We were staying a few days in Sisters, looking for a place for dinner and decided to give June's a try. It was so good! We ordered the Mother's chicken and the yakisoba noodles with crab puffs for an appetizer. Everything was so fresh and really good. I mean outstanding. Huge portions as well. We shared the two entrées and crab puffs and brought home probably half of it. Highly recommend it if you want some really good Chinese food. read more

If you're wanting Thai food avoid this place. They don't make Thai food. Ordered drunken noodles and Tom Kha. Both were loaded with Banana Ketchup or something that resembles it. Weird red sauce with a very sweet overtone. No traditional flavor at all. They didn't even know what Prik Nam Pla was. I should've walked at that point. Service was great. My mother chose this restaurant due to its proximity to our parking place!! That said, it is truly what it is called, an Asian kitchen. There are lots of items from which to choose that are from all sorts of Asian cuisine. I chose the chicken tempura with french fries!! Not my best moment, but it sounded unique. My mother chose some sort of rice and seafood dish. Portions are large, my mother couldn't even finish hers. The chicken in the tempura was dry and stringy. Every 4th one was edible. Couldn't tell if it was breast or thigh, but the chicken pieces were so small they got overcooked. The plum sauce didn't really go with the chicken. Fries were surprisingly ok. My mother liked her dish. I was happy they had a little alcove off near the entrance because both of the other parties there were hacking up a lung. I felt nervous like I had during COVID when people were spreading their germs around willy-nilly. I probably wouldn't come here again, if I did it would be to try one of their other dishes. read more

I really wanted to like this place even a little. I've tried it 3x. They never seem to have chicken satay in stock unfortunately. The staff is very friendly! We ordered the pad Thai which was difficult to palate, oily, fishy vinegar. Summer rolls were very good but the peanut sauce was not at all. The krab puffs were ok plum sauce was very watery. Tom Kha was an inedible lime soup. Pot stickers were ok again the plum sauce was watery and not tasty. Maybe there are some really good things on the menu but I didn't find them. read more

The service is always super pleasant. The wonton soup is a go-to when I'm not feeling well. The Pad Thai is unique, I wouldn't opt for it twice. For our small town, I'd hate to see it go away. read more

Our first time at June's while visiting Sisters. We loved it!! The Krab Puffs were amazing! SO hot and fresh!! My husband enjoyed his Happy Noodles, and I thought the Tom Kha soup (with prawns) was one of the best I've ever had! Everything was fresh and hot when we received it. Wide menu, delicious dishes, delivered with smiles in a garden setting. The children said, their favorite dish, Pad Thai noodles were the best they have ever eaten. My sweet and sour stir fry was a large portion and so good. Looking forward to going back for more. read more

I wish I could give a 5 star rating, but I just can't. The staff is very friendly, The restaurant has a great location, on a street corner on the main drag through town. The facility is fine, although there didn't seem to be any air conditioning, and the outside patio, which is a nice private area, could be a bit more tidy. The issue that my wife and I had was the food. We were hungry and ordered 3 dishes to share: chow mein, happy noodles, and lemon grass chicken and prawns fried rice. Maybe we got unlucky and picked that were not their best, but all three entrees were mediocre at best. And that is being generous. After seeing many positive reviews raving about the food we were excited to try it. I might give them another chance in the future to see if they have improved, but it would have to be without my wife; she doesn't want to go back. read more

Great taste, great value. Ordered salad rolls, satay, woon sen, yellow curry, basil fried rice, and pad ga pow. Based on the menu, I sensed that sticking to the Thai items might play to the kitchen's strengths. First off, the peanut sauce for the salad rolls and satay was spicy and excellent... might even be my favorite take on peanut sauce. My wife and I opted to finish off all of the cabbage garnish with the sauce. If you don't like the spice level, and I expect it may be too much for some people, both salad rolls and satay taste really good without the sauce. The salad rolls are large-sized and 1 order can be split for 4 people. The satay is well-seasoned and is on the bolder side. I prefer this because a lot of places will be far more mild on satay flavoring with the expectation that people will drown the flavor out without peanut sauce. The pad ga pow is tasty. It came with sauce texture that's on the thicker side, which was unusual for me. I would gladly pay a bit more for this dish if it had more basil. Overall very serviceable. Woon sen was also serviceable. A safe bet for folks wanting something from the Thai menu that isn't spicy. Yellow curry had a home style vibe to it. Good flavor, and it came with a lot of extra ingredients that normally don't seem to get served with yellow curry that I've had, but this is great for people who are here for the yellow curry. So many other places make a yellow curry where the non-sauce ingredients run out with so much curry remaining. The weakest aspect of the menu for me is the rice. I'm addition to the spicy basil fried rice, we ordered white rice. I'm used to eating Jasmine rice with Thai food, so everything paired with rice had a strange texture for me. The decision to serve something other than Jasmine might be due to availability and the fact that they serve non-thai dishes, and the rice choice is simply a compromise. read more

Menu is more limited than posted. The Mongolian beef was flavorful. I didn't like the sweet and sour chicken. I could taste a lot of fish sauce. Chicken teriyaki was bland. The bao buns were good although they were deep fried instead of steamed. read more

Great Staff, good food - no air conditioning.

Horrible experience, I ordered the drunken noodles, the noodles were not fully cooked and the dish itself was bland. My wife had the beef broccoli which tasted rotten. We made the server aware that we did not want any of our food and she made no offer to refund our money or replace it with something else. Now I know why they make you pay for your meal before you are served. Stay away from this sorry excuse of a restaurant. read more

Super disappointing meal. Ordered the chicken rice bowl. Received tofu....it was a to go order which is all they are doing right now. The meal literally consisted of barely warm tofu, a scoop of white rice, 2 containers of peanut sauce, diced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers and carrots....all raw, not cooked. Overall so very impressed with June's asian kitchen, customer service on the phone was polite and helpful. Ordered here during the quilt show weekend so they had a limited menu and I wasn't able to try everything I had wanted, however what I did order was great. Tried the potstickers, spring rolls, kung pao chicken, pad thai, and mothers chicken (their orange chicken). Only dropped a star because of partial menu and the orange chicken was hard and overly breaded for my liking. Will be making this my new go-to for takeout. read more

The Kung Pao has zero Kung pao sauce on it, what you see in the picture is just orange grease. And the Lo Mein/Happy noodles are way over cooked.. like mush. The chicken in both meals looks less than edible. When I called and let them know after paying over $50 for our order. They said they'd make it up "next time". Buuuut there won't be a next time. The table service was terrible. Didn't even provide soy sauce. For Asian food? Whoever thought they wouldn't put soy sauce on the table. When I asked what was in the sauce for one of them dishes. 3.5 stars. Take out - Great spicy green curry with lots of veggies in it, unlike many Thai restaurants who seem to forget to add enough veggies. Disappointed in the egg rolls as they appeared to have been deep fried versus steamed and pan fried. Filling was lackluster. Tom Kha soup smells great, but must admit, haven't eaten it yet. Ample serving size for all dishes. Rice can be white or brown and they automatically ask. I can almost count the times I specifically ask for brown, get it home only to find I got white! I just have to update my perfect 5 star review after my recent visit. Our server (same beautiful young lady as before) was so sweet, pleasant and engaging. Maybe she came out of her shell. She is and was adorable. The food at June's is probably the best in Sisters now. The menu is extensive, but the food is so delicious and fresh. I had the kung pao tofu and it was perfect. Went in to get fish n chips. Very disappointed that it's no longer available. . So it gave me a chance to try other items. Best pork fried rice ever, big pieces of sliced pork, great flavor. Didn't care for the mandarin salad, June's mothers chicken with sauce was good. While waiting for my order to go I had a Tiger Tea with lime, WOW the tea was fantastic. I'll order the fried rice again for sure. Next day I made the exact Tiger tea at home, I had all the ingredients to make. Thai tea, agave and limes. This place packs the flavor! I go to a lot of Thai restaurants, and I think this was the best Tom Kha soup I have ever tasted, and that's a tall order. We stopped in for lunch during the cold winter in Sisters, and the place had plenty of open tables. It was a little chilly in side, and I think that is my only complaint. It's winter, though, and we have coats. The waitress was extremely attentive and sweet. Our food was brought out much quicker than I am used to! The Tom Kha soup was a huge portion. I could have ordered a smaller one, but then I wouldn't have leftovers. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were both great as well. The pad thai noodles were thicker than I am used to but wasn't mad. Everything we ordered was vegetarian as well :). We had to get everything boxed up because we were full, and the waitress even labeled each box for us. Overall, I would love to revisit this restaurant. They have many options and are veg-friendly, great service, and DELICIOUS dishes! read more
