Gigantic pancake and it was delicious.

Delicious home cooked breakfast was served with excellent cup of coffee. My husband shared the pancake with the. Waitress was attentive and honest. She politely advised the pancake would be quite large. She should have said "gigantic". Looking forward to bringing family when they come visit.

Large Country Fried Steak

Small town diner style eatery serving up bountiful proportions for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I visited Junction Cafe after living in SoCal for a few years. The country fried steak with two eggs was offered in two sizes, a small and a large, and I ordered a large just to see how big Texas sized it would be and I was not disappointed. As an added bonus our server Ashlyn was great!

The service here is always amazing. It's like dining with family. I highly recommend stopping in. Even if you're passing through.

Chicken Fried Steak Not so great I have had tv dinners that taste better and they take there time , sat waiting 10 minutes before we were even handed a menu

Catfish special on Fridays

Friendly service and great home cooking! Breakfast or lunch, I haven't been disappointed once. This is a hidden gem of a cafe in Bertram, minutes west of Liberty Hill. This is not fast food - this type of food is not produced fast, but worth the 10-15 minutes it takes to get to your table. One of my new favorites for sure. Ps - Friday is the Catfish Special!

Great hamburgers and French fries. Would highly recommend their food. It was worth the drive from sun city (Georgetown tx)

Great food at a great price. Was needed in Bertram. Something besides bbq and mexican. Can't wait for them to start serving breakfast.

If breakfast had a hall of fame, Perky Beans Coffee & PB Café would already have a gold jacket…read morehanging up. Came in hungry, left questioning every other country fried steak I've ever eaten--because this one just ruined the competition. Crispy, tender, smothered in perfection... easily the best I've ever had. My wife ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt illegal how good it was. Like dessert disguised as breakfast in the best way possible. And don't sleep on the strawberry cream cheese pancakes--they're the kind of good that makes you pause mid-bite and rethink your life choices. Then there are the bacon twists... I don't even have the words. Just order them. Trust me. Shoutout to Olivia, our server--absolute rockstar. Super friendly, on point, and made the whole experience even better. Bottom line: every time we come here, it's a win. Great food, great vibes, great people. If you leave hungry, that's on you.

Brunch on a weekend around here isn't that easy to obtain. It seems the blooming population has…read moreoverloaded the volume of brunch capability. The good news is there are several places that have waitlists and there are even some places that take reservations so if you're planning includes a time that's likely to attract a lot of diners. I would suggest that would be the way to decide your destination. We did in fact, use the waitlist Sunday at Perky Beans. It allowed us to see how many parties were in front of us and advised that we would be texted when our table was ready. We waited about a half hour in our vehicle until we were texted and then headed in and we were seated immediately. Junny was our server. She seated us and gave us menus. I ordered a Hazelnut Coffee and a Virgin Mary(bloody Mary without the alcohol). My granddaughter ordered Water. We took a few minutes looking over the menus. There were quite a few options. Lots of tempting items, but it's hard for me to turn down biscuits and gravy since I love homemade biscuits and unfortunately mine don't turn out-2 eggs and home fried potatoes accompanied that. My granddaughter ordered the " sample the Eggs Benedict," which offered her the option of choosing two half Benedicts offered-which is a great way to determine your preference. She also opted for the home fried potatoes. Right about then Junny went and got my Virgin Mary, which they had really done up nicely! It was every bit as pretty as the alcoholic version with a nice crisp celery, stick, and a Gerkin pickle, Green olive and fresh Orange section. It was very tasty. We waited about 40 minutes for our food. It was very busy and I think it's difficult to manage the coffee side of the café along with the dining room side especially on a very busy Sunday. (That is why I deducted one star from our rating.) It did appear that they had adequate service staff, of course we couldn't observe the kitchen area so not sure how many cooks. We did enjoy the restaurant as a whole and we do plan to return to order some of the other delicious offerings on the menu. Fantastic to have a great brunch option right in Leander!!!
