I have been a customer with Jumping Jack since the owner Todd first opened. Seen a hug turn over in employees over the decades of doing business with this company. I had a customer service issue with one of my loans and the item was a family heirloom and they dropped my loan put it out for sale several times. Beyond my communications failures sadly Veronica has taken it upon herself to think she can talk to a customer in a lowlife manner. Saying customers aren't important and to all be treated the same. I asked to speak with the General manager Alan and she refused while yelling at me. Not good customer service at all. My fiance went in here today (repeat customer who has always paid on time) and the owner decided to get an attitude when my fiance tried to explain that the SSD we bought separately from our xbox was an "accessory" bought with the console when it is a $200 item sold separately. Then decided to threaten my fiance and my 3 month old baby. 3 MONTHS. Then proceeded to shove my fiance. offer you too much money, then try to talk you out of paying loan off early when you want your stuff back. Also the manager offers kickbacks if you post positive 4 or 5 star reviews. Wack, and shows how little faith he has in getting real positive reviews *SMH* By the way, don't get on the big guy's bad side, because they'll work you over and try to finesse your stuff from you by playing games with your pawn tickets. They'll lie and say you lost something if you don't have your ticket, they'll front like it was overdue and sold. I found my ticket later and had like 17 days left, but the manager lied to my face and said it was overdue and gone. Then charged me for late fees on something I pawned literally 2 days earlier. lol I hope more people get the facts out. Don't go to this location, and if you do: make sure you send an email about your problem, and do it from the website at this location. It goes straight to the owner, and bypasses the bulldog manager. Nice people. I know they have to make money but the offers they gave me for my amp was such a low ball offer. They look on the internet and compare it to what others are offering on the same model. I had a horrible experience when going in looking for some new things for my wife and I. I came in with intentions to buy some new electronics First off There guy Carlos was more interested in being rude to his employees other than helping me find what I needed. He didn't open any cases I wanted to check out and his body language and temper towards one of his employees is very racially offensive. It is so clear the way I saw him treat another customer who was white. I will take my money and check out another Lastly My wife went in there one time before and she had a terrible experience with Carlos and his sexist, racist and rude. He had no interest in helping myself or my wife and we received nothing but rude, unprofessional customer service. I can't even consider his attitude and the way he spoke to us and his employees even close to any kind of customer service. My previous review (which somehow mysteriously showed up as not recommended): I went into this store to purchase a guitar that was currently listed on the Buya.com website for $60. I went to the store and the guitar was there, but was shown as bundled with a guitar amplifier for $105. When I told them about the listing on Buya for $60, they told me that it was impossible to sell the item that they listed on that website now that it had been bundled with an amplifier. I said that I had cash in my pocket, and asked if they wanted to sell me the guitar that they listed online. They said no and I left. And then I yelped :) Horrible experience, do not visit this store. On top of that, just FYI the telecaster that is in the store right now listed for $400 is completely FAKE. You can see that someone sanded the headstock and placed a stick-on decal (Fender does not use stickers for their logo). Buyer beware. Came in and bought a TV. They gave me a great deal. Was at another pawn shop the same day looking for a TV and the TV's weren't clean and the prices weren't as good as JJC. They also negotiated the price too. Four stars because they came on a little strong when I walked through the door but ultimately, good customer service. read more
