This is my first stop when gun shopping. They are knowledgable and very fair on pricing.

Went today to sell some gold jewelry (one piece in particular, a Bulgari necklace, was of particular value to me), and various electronics. Kyle & Jon were incredibly polite and helpful; I felt that I was being treated with complete fairness and transparency. They were open about their process for evaluation, and even discussed possible pricing for some additional future sales I am considering. I could not recommend this establishment, and its proprietors, more strongly. Just excellent. One more thing: I found that this is a generationally family-owned business, of which there are exceedingly fewer and fewer these days. Supporting them, as opposed to their franchised competitors (one of which is mere feet away in the same shopping mall), is important. If you decide to try out a pawn shop, the combination of all of the above should make your choice clear! Justin B. read more

10/10 service I've been here several times and they will absolutely keep my business they are nothing if not professional and organized

Went in to look at some watches and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend checking them out.

Highly recommend this place! Staff members were very knowledgeable & friendly, and I got more than I thought I would for my gold jewelry.

FFL IS NOT UP TO DATE ON FIREARMS LAWS. DO NOT RECOMEND FOR TRANSFER. USE JAX OUTDOOR GEAR DOWN THE ROAD. Shortcut: This licensed FFL fed me false information on the law, unconstitutionally withheld my firearm from me, and lost me $40 in return fees. Refused to help me after. As a 19-year-old, I ordered a rifle online and entrusted delivery to this FFL I consistently visit. I get there after a notified delivery and then am refused my background check. I was told by the employees that Colorado had just passed a law on Election Day that raised the sale and purchase of long-guns to 21-years-old. I then filed a return claim with the manufacturer, and they charge a $40 restocking fee. Later the next week, I'm at the JAX Outdoor Gear purchasing some supplies and I'm speaking with the workers at the gun counter. They inform me that the law in-fact was not in action, and that if it we're, they would be immediately notified on their computer software. Told me to confirm by calling CBI (CO Bureau of Investigation) and they were still processing all firearms sale as normal due to a rehearing on the court case. I ordered my rifle on the 8th, 3 days after election day, went to proceed the background check 7 days later on the 15th. Within that 10-day period, none of the employees at Broomfield Pawn found out that all gun sales proceeded as normal. If I knew I could purchase my firearm from another FFL, I would instead pay another transfer fee. Pay another $40 to go down the street but still have my gun. Instead, now I am $40 in the hole and WITH NO GUN. This licensed FFL fed me false information, unconstitutionally withheld my firearm from me, and lost me $40 in return fees. Remember, they are federally licensed to be professionals at this. When I called to complain and demand some sort of compensation for the inconvenience caused at their complete fault, they refused to help me and then ghosted me. Terrible service, will never do business again in the future. Will instead be using Jax Outdoor Gear read more

Kyle was great! He took his time to test my jewelry to make sure I got the best price for it.

I've known Ken and Kyle for over 10 years and I always make a point to visit the shop when I'm in town. They have a great firearm selection and they regularly had ammo on the shelf during shortages when a lot of shops didn't. They're super knowledgeable about watches as well, it's always fun to talk shop. Highly recommended! read more

!!!!DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!! The manager is a JOKE! He got upset when I asked questions about a $2,000!! vintage watch that he was not able to answer. UNTRUSTWORTHY!!! read more

Worst pawnshop experience I've ever had. I tried to be reasonable and patiently waited while the lady upfront took forever to add up and research all the tools. After about an hour, another lady came up and just started handing me my tools back without explanation. The service was absolutely awful--unorganized, slow, and frustrating. It's clear they have no idea what they're doing, and their inefficiency is beyond belief. Please don't waste your time here. Go to the place next door instead; at least they know how to treat customers. read more

The staff there is extremely helpful. I sold a firearm to a friend in another state and they were able to transfer it for me with no issues. They take the time to explain things to you and don't rush you like some places. They are very personable and have a great attitude. As far as the firearms section goes, I would highly recommend this business. read more

This is the first time I've walked in to buy a gun and ran into not one, but two very helpful guys that didn't treat me like I was wasting their time. Highly recommend them and I will be buying from here more often. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I walked in and the place was Smokey and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The person I attempted to speak with wouldn't let me get a word out. I do NOT recommend coming here especially with kids. read more

I took in three firearms two of which were unfired. New value of those two firearms would be around $2000. Was told they lend between 30 and 50 percent of value. The AR pistol alone has a used value of $800 to $1200. Between both firearms and the complete lower I was offered $400. I was told their expected resale value of all three firearms would be around $1100. This comes to a loan value of 36% of their perceived value. On a 20% per month interest loan, they would make more on the loan even at 50% loan value in less than three months. I have worked in pawn shops for the last 8 years. Successfully managing a corporate pawn shop that was in the top 2 percent of their entire portfolio. I know the break even loan value even for one month of interest ranges between 70 to 80 percent of the loan value for a good customer. For a new customer that range is 50 to 65% of the loan value. I have never been so flabbergasted in my entire life with the way I was treated I. This pawn shop. I actually went to the shop that is a few doors down and was offered more than twice the amount that was offered to me here. Stay clear of this pawn shop if you want a loan. Didn't look at items that are for sale here, but with the condition of the store and the amount of clutter, I would suspect that their pricing for items for sale would be incorrect too. Was told by whom I assume is the manager or owner that they have been in the pawn business for over 20 years. I guess they must have some loyal customers that like to be fleeced if this is the case. read more

This is the first time my wife and I been to this store. As soon as we walked in, we were both greeted and welcomed. I wanted to check out the firearm (Sig P239)they advertised on Armslist.com. Gentleman name Kyle was helping us and he was very friendly and professional. He knew a lot about the firearm. He answered all my questions. The other gentleman name John was processing my CBI and paperwork. He was very friendly and professional also. Thank you Kyle and John for great customer service. Sincerely, Cal read more

I stopped in to buy some shooting accessories (snap caps), and ended up finding .380 ACP ammo for sale (!) and got into a good conversation with the staff. I had questions about shotguns and they showed me a few and had lots of good advice. Really friendly. I'm going back tomorrow to buy a shotgun I saw. read more

I freakin love this place. Absolutely not your average pawn shop. They treat you with honesty and integrity. Just really seem like a stand up place. read more

Awful service. Went to get some $$$ for some old but great and working electronics that I'd upgraded (iMac, PlayStation) and got a lippy sales associate that tried to immediately dominate the conversation to turn me away. The guy did not want to give me any time of day from the second he laid eyes on me, all so that he could get back to his conversation with one of the four guys standing around behind the counter... FYI- you're not pawn stars guys read more

I was in need of a new gun for my personal carry. I was scouting local pawn shops for deals on used ones. Most of the shops had low inventory and not quite what I was looking for. I ended up stopping by Broomfield Pawn and was glad I did. Not only did they have a great selection of guns their service was knowledgeable and friendly. I was primarily helped by Kyle who gave me good advice on what to look for in a cc firearm. He was extremely knowledgeable about the firearms there and gave me a great deal on an S&W shield. I'll definitely be going back. I cannot stress enough to support local businesses. Quality of service is far superior! Thanks BP! read more

This is pawn shop run by honest, down to earth people who value their customers and community. I have been in numerous times and they are always helpful, honest, and kind. They are my go-to pawn shop even though I live a city over just because of how they treat their people. Absolutely excellent service and care. read more

This is the absolute worst business anywhere. On my days off from work i like to look around local businesses. I've never been here before so i went inside to see what this place has. Not more than 5 mins after I enter the guy behind the counter stops what he's doing and yells at me to leave. I didn't talk to anybody and I didn't touch anything so I don't know what this a-holes problem was but he and this business seriously needs to leave. Negative stars! read more

This place is absolutely great!!! The people who work are incredibly polite and helpful. I am here a lot and have been treated like family every time I am there. Wether you are looking to sell, buy or pawn something I cannot recommend this place enough. You will always be treated fairly and feel welcome at Broomfield Pawn. read more

Awesome jeweler services here with excellent pricing. Brought in a ring to be resized and adjusted + upgraded a diamond. Ring came out excellent at a lower price than quoted. Highly impressed and highly recommend. read more

Looking to pawn a 550 watch, was turned down. Went next door and got what I needed. Waste of time.

I hate to give them even 1 star but had no option for zero stars. I usually love to support local family run or small businesses but this place practically robbed me. I pawned a diamond ring that had an appraisal of over $16k and only asked for $500 for the loan. I was planning on getting it out the following week but as an unexpected bill came up and the due date to get my ring back I called the store and asked if I could come in the following week- well they looked up my account and told me they would make a note about it and everything would be fine. I go in there to pay and am informed that supposedly they already sold the ring and nothing they can do!!!! They bold face lied to me and I feel like I got bamboozled out of over $15k! I will never get over this and plan on filing a complaint with the BBB, the co attorney general and whatever else I can do to at least make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else! Shame on Broomfield Pawn for lying and being unethical in the way the do business. read more

I don't go to pawn shops often but, the few times I have gone I've never had good service, and I felt the prices were unfair. I was driving home and decided to stop by and check it out and I bought a computer at a good price, and the gentlemen -a son and his father- who helped me, were very polite, and genuine. anytime I need/want to go to a Pawn Shop I will go here. I highly recommend it. Great people! Great service!! :) read more

I've been out of work and was short on my rent one month. Had to get a loan on some jewelry. I absolutely hate pawning anything, but didn't know what else to do. I had been in here before and returned. They gave me exactly the amount I needed. They have been very professional, friendly, and treat me with respect every single time I have been in the store. I recently went back with my (fake!) Movado because it needed a battery and the owner had told me he would replace it for $10. Nobody else would touch it and couldn't even tell me if it was real or not. Well, he was true to his word and replaced my battery for me in less than 10 minutes for $10. I would definitely do business with them again and I would absolutely recommend them. read more

I was exactly to the day one month late on my loan, for numerous watches I pawned. Went in to pay the late charges and current months fees Told me they pulled the watches and sold some of them. Asked what was left, and practically in front of me, pulled out all they expensive watches they wanted to keep or sell, and then showed me the box, with only the cheap watched left. Ripped me off in front of my face read more

What a great experience. I sold two handguns and bought a shotgun today. The service I received was exceptional. I got a fair price for the handguns and paid a fair price for the shotgun. The paperwork was done both quickly and professionally. I left with my new shotgun and with all required checks done within 20 minutes. I will NEVER use anyone else again. It was that good. Congratulations for a job well done. read more

Quite possibly the rudest man in town. Will not properly appraise any item, especially your jewelry. You like garbage? Then go here. He will treat you like garbage and your items even worse. Need a watch fixed...yeah right. Won't talk to you unless he thinks its worth his time. I had two very nice watches (Accutron, which is made by Bulova, and one Bocci), guess what? He didn't know either one. And it was simple things to fix, like a battery and a band replacement. Canary diamond? Whats that? HE had my wife crying, calling her "one of those women." But hey, you have a gun...he'll take it. Tools, those too. He's way over priced, to the point where he should price himself out of business. Hopefully he will. He doesnt deserve a star at all, but i have to give one. Here's your bone Broomfield Pawn. read more

I purchased an opal ring for my wife that had a beautiful color at a very good price. I didn't know my wife's ring size so I had the ring sized correctly at the store along with another ring to be repaired. We were pleased with the work and the price. read more

Do NOT take your jewelry here for repairs. First, Ken destroyed my engagement ring. When he put a new head on (without asking) it was not even perpendicular to the ring, or the same head as it was before! The two side baguettes were two different heights and distances away from the head, and the ring was not circular nor the size it was originally. I went to get an estimate of repairs (on the "repair" Ken made) at another jewelry store and it was going to be $1,600. Because I couldn't afford to pay that, I decided to give Ken one more chance because he said he would order a new shank and start over. When I brought my ring back, it took him three weeks to call back and tell me one of the diamonds was missing! He refused to admit that he lost it, but said he was going to look for it ... I mean could it get any worse!!?? I am SO UPSET that not only has he destroyed something so precious to me, but now he had lost something irreplaceable. So incredibly sad. read more

This is the WORST place anyone could go to! They evaluate your property so LOW that it's insulting then charge FULL RETAIL. I was quoted prices 1/10th of what my property was worth pawning. I took them elsewhere and received what they were actually worth pawn wise. The old man is also one of the rudest people you could deal with and if you question his pricing he is straight nasty. DO NOT GO HERE! read more
