When I was younger and didn't know how a pawn shop worked, I was disappointed they'd only offer me a third of the "brand new" price for a tool set. you would think when someone asks for help, that employees would try to help (sell you something) but not here, lady just brushed me off.

They wouldn't even look at the (valuable) stuff we lugged over. Don't waste your time.

We got a used MacBook Air and some DVDs. They have a decent selection of many used items including just what we needed. The musical instruments were also impressive. Finally, we appreciated the excellent service and value for the money. read more

DONT BOTHER COMING HERE. They recently changed their policy on paying with credit cards. I live over an hour away and have been a loyal customer for over a year. Wouldnt accommodate a long time client..not to mention most items are dated and over priced..next time when i ask to be directed to management,please dont put "im sort of a manager..assistant" on the phone to make judgement calls. This store is one of the worst things about Lafayette, Colorado. Eventually the property owner will sell the land and a great restaurant (hell, even a crappy restaurant) will be a welcome change to this corner. This place is horrible. I have been a long-time customer of theirs and have spent a good amount of money in there. I went to go sell some of my stuff and first off, the guy working was extremely rude and could care less about customers, not to mention seemed like he was high as a kite. Second, the lady that sees me all the time didn't bother to even say hi when we walked in. They had attitudes the whole time and said they'd buy a couple items and then decided to change their minds last min. What kind of place is this? I won't ever go back and have been to many other pawn shops that have better reputations. When this place goes out of business, I will laugh. read more

Sam is great! The staff are smart, super outgoing and very friendly. Great prices and great staff! This is one place above the rest!

If you're buying at this place it's not bad. If you're looking to sell honestly you have a better shot finding the first person you can spot on the street and offer them what you have to sell. Or at least eBay or craigslist. It's a depressing atmosphere and the attitudes of the employees go along with it. If you're interacting with customers, at least pretend like you deserve to be employed. I hate giving bad reviews but I have to warn anyone about selling your stuff here. read more

there is something to remember when going to this location....ONLY deal with Nichole or Jennifer...PERIOD. The other employees I would strongly stay away from. I have had nothing but good experiences with the above mentioned employees. I have many, many loans there (I use as my high-interest credit card) and they have saved me many times. This place is ridiculous! Who ever heard of a pawn shop that doesn't bargain on price? They had a huge inventory of TVs but wouldn't budge on a $120 price tag of a 24 inch no-name cheap TV with old technology because it had an internal "DVD". They are firm on price when it has a DVD player, per "a company email". It makes you wonder what the store REALLY is there for! read more

This place is ridiculous, of the few times I have been in there more often than not the people are rude or unhelpful. Also their prices are outrageous. They were trying to sell 3 ounces of silver for $219. Spot on silver at the time was about $34.80 per ounce...that is over a 200% markup. Any coin shop or silver and gold shop in the area usually sells silver for anywhere from 1-4 dollars over spot, they were trying to sell it for 30 dollars over spot. I don't know the value of the other things they have their but silver is pretty straight forward and if they think a legitimate markup on it is over 200% I'm sure the rest of their stuff is over priced as well. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Erie has a good silver and gold shop and Boulder has a good coin shop, either place has much friendlier staff and reasonable, fair prices. read more

Don't go here, everything in this place is way over priced twice I bought stuff just to get home and it doesn't work and they only give store credit back for items you paid cash for. Also they give you absolute bottom dollar for anything your bringing in, be ware. read more
