I always enjoy visiting The Little Jewel whenever I'm looking for something special. Although the store is small, their selections are extensive and many items are unique and beautiful. Over the years I have purchased several items, not only for myself, but also as gifts for family and friends. Their inventory of styles never disappoint! They have and continue to do custom work for me and the results have been perfect! They also have great ideas whenever I was looking for something special. When in Boulder with Mom, shopping is always at the top of the list. The Little Jewel was the next business in line as we perused almost every store down Pearl Street. Some shiny items caught our eye in the display case and we just had to take a peak. The women working here are excellent. Both were eager to help and assist in anything we wanted to look at or needed pulled from the case. I'm probably not their clientele since I think their selection is more geared towards an older generation. They have silver and gold pieces with a variety of gems in all different styles. Come here looking for mainly earrings, rings, and necklaces. I felt that the overall look of the selection was cheap. I couldn't find a single item that appealed to me in the least. I will be skipping over this shop on my future visits to Boulder. read more

I bought my fiance a ring here and I think they have the best rings with the most beautiful bands and the best prices in town. The woman who works here is so sweet and helpful, and even ordered the ring we wanted in the right size since my lady has such small hands. read more

I wanted to have my engagement ring repaired because one part of the setting was bent, and I decided to see about getting it done at this store. But after the way I was treated when I was just trying to ask if this store could do the repair, I'd rather do the work myself with my teeth. I've never been treated as badly as I was by the lady working here today. She obviously and deliberately ignored me for an unacceptably long time. When she finally acknowledged my presence, she said, "Can I help you?" without even looking at me. I asked if they did repairs and she gave me the stink eye and said, without asking me what needed to be repaired, "10 days. Maybe more. Probably more." and went back to ignoring me. Was it because I look young? Was it because of my appearance? Was it because of something else? I feel strongly that I was age profiled, but no matter what the reason, I urge anyone thinking about doing business here to AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. I did my business elsewhere. A delightful store, not just because their selection is incredible, (especially when the store itself is pretty tiny compared to the rest of Pearl St), but the owners themselves make shopping there a true delight. The styles range from vintage to modern and the range of designers is as big as the range of natural gems. The prices are great-especially when you consider they carry the real thing. Too many jewelry shops today are carrying lab-produced stones. Not The Little Gem! The family Gemologist on staff will insure you authenticity everytime. read more

I found a gorgeous wedding band for my partner at The Little Jewel, I had looked forever to find the right one since he is such a little perfectionist and won't settle for anything ordinary! I strolled into this store by chance today Monday Aug 1st 2011... and was pleasantly surprised by the warm greeting I received from Dianna, I was there to find a silver ring, and it wasn't long before I was viewing a beautiful selection of silver bands. It just so happens that she was also offering 30% off silver on this particular day, and I was able to find a gorgeous band that fit the bill to a T... The little jewel is just that, a special little shop sandwiched between larger retailers. But it's small size belies its large selection and elegant nature... I really appreciated the kind treatment I received, if you find yourself strolling down on Pearl Street in Boulder I would say it's certainly worth popping in for a look :) read more

I eyed a beautiful pendent and matching earrings and Dane could not have been nicer in helping me and not pushy at all. I walked out with both of them and with approval from my husband! I didn't expect it from the window on Pearl St but this shop has a huge, beautiful selection of gold & sliver jewelry with precious & semi-precious stones. The woman who owns it is friendly, open and very helpful as are her staff. Worth a visit if you're looking for an unusual piece. read more

i came into this shop today to grab a christmas gift - the couple working were extremely kind and helped me find the perfect necklace, even taking the time to comb through their inventory for something i'd asked for, that they ended up not having in stock. prices are fantastic, the store is clean and very covid-conscious, even for a smaller space. both workers were masked, maintained distance, and used hand sanitizer after helping me. they were very friendly and sent me on my way with a smile. they will definitely have my business again in the future! read more

We stumbled upon this store walking on the Pearl St Mall. My husband was going to buy me a present for my birthday. I couldn't believe the selection this store had. Lois gave us all the attention we needed and was very patient with me trying on alot of pendents. I'll definately return to this store. read more
