I had silver rings…read moreresized, 2 links with stones removed from a tanzanite bracelet, Kat extended a beautiful Native American made silver onyx cuff bracelet (was originally made for a smaller wrist), and she fixed a previous jeweler's flawed way of attaching a large labradorite to a unique silver bracelet. The labradorite bracelet was tough because even the original jewelry designer was unable to determine a fix and so the stone and the basket would not continue to disconnect without destroying the design. Kat's prices are fair and service is usually approximately 2 weeks since she is a one-woman show. All items came out perfect, like they were designed that way. Kat takes great pride in her work. I brought a gold chain with a non working clasp and a silver designer ring to be resized. A couple days later they called with the repair estimate for both. I gave them the go ahead on both items. 2 weeks later they called and said the items were ready to be picked up. I went to the shop and was told the chain is repaired but the ring is untouched. The material on the ring is "weak" and if they tried to resize it, "the ring would fall apart". They are relocating next year to Evergreen. Good ridence.

On 8/28/25 I took a Wittnauer 245T GMT Chronograph watch to Gerald for repair - it had not run for…read more20+ years. As I was there in the shop talking to Gerald, his assistant popped off the back of the watch and it started running. I agreed to leave the watch with Gerald for cleaning; he said 1.5 to 2 months. After more than 2 months of no contact from Gerald including not returning 2 phone calls and 1 email, I went to retrieve my watch. Nothing had been done but Gerald promised he would get to it within 2 weeks. He called me 2/3 days later (2nd week of Nov) saying the watch looked good but was "sticky" and needed cleaning. I finally retrieved my watch on 1/8/26 after he finally cleaned it. However, he also had broken a spring related to returning the second hand on the watch's stopwatch function (he said it was "weak") and he had polished off the lower half of the numbers on the bezel destroying the tachymeter function. No offer of paying for repairs although he did not cash the check I gave him for the cleaning. I would definitely NOT give him any more business.
