I have been getting food from here for yrs. Usually very good. Tonights service wasn't the best. I was on hold for 5mins brfore order taken, which I hope was they were nice & busy. My soup was soo salty I wasn't able to eat it. My vegetarian meal was good with a good variety of vegies & lots of noodles. Wasn't sure at first if there was rice as it was under the other two. I have never left a review before. I would say normally a solid 4* with it coming in as a 5* close to 40% of the time. The front is always clean & tidy. read more

This has become our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It is a family business and the people here are very friendly. The kitchen looks spotless, all COVID-19 protocols are observed, and the food comes fresh and hot. My only complaint is that the Cantonese fried noodles aren't crispy. They taste good, but are soft. I miss the Toronto Cantonese restaurants I frequented pre-pandemic, and wish their noodles lived up to that standard. Our "go to" place for local Chinese food. Food: Can be hit or miss on freshness. 4 star when fresh, 2.5 to 3 star when not. Only had a 1 or 2 times where it wasn't great. Service: Good. Doesnt matter much as its Take out. Cost: Average but fair Atmosphere: Again take out so not important. Overall: Portions are good and we always do the combination platters. We have been coming here for years but it seems lately the food seems to be hit and miss. Sometimes it is very good and next time it is not great. On our recent order of chicken chow main you had to wonder if they forgot the chicken. We did find a few small pieces. The beef fried rice was also very bland without much flavour. We will give it another try but if this keeps up we will not continue to buy from them. read more

I have been eating take out from Jumbo Dragon since it first opened. It truly is my favorite chinese food restaurant. The service is fast and efficient and always served with a smile. I've never had a problem with the food... Its always something I could rely upon to always taste great and freshly made just for us. I usually order my food on the phone and go pick it up 10-15 mins later. Its a restaurant I know I will always get my moneys worth and then some! And the food I ordered is guaranteed to always taste the same.. Unlike some places that taste different each time I eat there.. l would definately recommend Jumbo Dragon to anyone! Actually I have and I do .. I know the food will be awsome and afterwards when I ask about how they liked their food from there.. I will get to say to them "I told you so" when they tell me they have a new favorite restaurant to eat at or take home from now on LoL! If you get a chance you should order some crab w/creamcheese wontons.. I get them everytime! You can actually get an order for free when you spend a certain amount of money and pickup your food instead of get it for dilivery.. I think its now $30 before taxes that you'de be able to choose 1 of 3 items.. One of which is the crabmeat wontons. read more

Jumbo describes the serving sizes for sure. Only one of our 4 take out meals was finished in the first attempt. Everything was cooked well and had good flavour. The spicy items didn't have much heat I was told, but other then that everyone was satisfied. Service was on time and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely order again. read more

The food here is actually delicious! I have had people from out of town compare this place with other top Chinese places in Toronto and St. Catharine's and they can all admit how great this place is. Their chicken fried rice is to die for, and the quantities are amazing for what you are paying . The combination platters are always the way to go, and it never disappoints! Last time I ordered C7: Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso's Chicken and Chicken friend rice. My husband ordered C4: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef and Vegetables with Almonds, and Chicken fried Rice. If you're a vegetarian looking for great Chinese food, your search is over. I ordered over the phone, and the order was ready in just 10 minutes. The limited vegetarian options that initially had me uncertain were quickly replaced with the first few bites. I'd happily speculate that there might only be one vegetarian combo option because they don't need another. Rice, noodles, mixed veggies, and a spring roll - the combo dish is everything a vegetarian could hope for from Chinese food, with a fantastic portion size that'll satisfy a hungry 21 year old guy (me) and just about anyone else with ease. The food is hot, it tastes great, and there's plenty of it - what more could a guy want? DON'T EVER ORDER HERE!!!This was one of the most awful experiences with a Chinese restaurant. We ordered a combination platter along with lemon chicken and a chicken wontons. First, everything was warm at best. The chicken balls were overcooked and the lemon sauce was bitter. When we called back to complain, the manager Jay was very rude and basically called us liars saying that it couldn't have been cold because it was ready when we got there. She offered us new food if we bring this food back untouched. What a joke. She told us go ahead and give a bad review and hung up. Signed Anything would be better than this. read more

Im eating the takeout meal I ordered right now. The wonton soup was garbage. The meat in the wontons was terrible and didnt even taste like pork. I ate the egg roll and that tasted terrible and overly greasy. Everything about the combination dinner I ordered is yucky. Theres lots of flavours but its the flavour of old food, fridge and I dont know what else but its not good and I will never order from here again. read more

One of the best, if not the best Chinese restaurant in the K-W area. The food is consistently good, the prices are fair and I have yet to order a menu item that disappointed me. The service is decent, they are good with getting orders right even when there are special requests due to dietary or allergy concerns, however they can be a bit slow, especially with deliveries taking up to 2 hours, but usually being a little over an hour. In fairness I do live a good 8 km away, which is a 15-20 minute drive on a good day. The restaurant itself sits tucked beside a grocery store and is easy to miss when driving by, the atmosphere and decor is nothing special but is comfortable enough to sit an enjoy some great food. read more

Been our go to place for good Chinese takeout for the past 5 years. Consistently good value for money. We like the family dinners, which are substantial servings and always leave us left overs for the next day. The egg Foo young is another perennial favorite. The quality of the food varies a bit, depending on who is cooking (one or twice gotten something way too salty, or other wise over seasoned) but generally solid food. read more

I always order a C6 and a C7 (combination plate). The meat is covered in so much breading, and it kind of smells like farts when you get the food into the car, but the sesame chicken is really delicious. The staff has always been friendly to me. The interior eating area is very boring and ugly, and full of mirrors. They really need to redecorate. read more
