I recently did research on local dentists as I had to find someone to examine my elderly mother in laws teeth. Upon doing so, I found that Dr. Negom had several positive reviews. Since our first visit in February 2023, I can honestly say I made the best choice as our visits have always been great. The receptionist is always warm and friendly, and the office setting is calm and quiet. Upon informing the staff that my mother in law has dementia, Dr. Negom and her hygienists have been nothing less than kind, patient, and very detailed in her care. Because my regular dentist will be retiring, I also made a recent appointment for my husband and he too was happy with her service. Based on our experiences, I highly recommend Dr. Negom. read more

If you need to see this dentist, think twice, this money hunger dentist will not service you if you don't pay for her services at front, even if you have been her patient for a few years and have always paid till the last penny, her work is not diferent from any other dentist in fact she is not even nice to you when treating you. I am a caregiver and my client has been her patient for over 20 years, I took her to her appointment and she forgot her ATM (she is a senior) well guess what Dr. Negun refused to servicer her and re-schechuled her appointment for August, my poor client has been waiting to get her dentures since February and every time she gets an appointment every 2 or 3 months. This dentist is the worst of her kind so much so that my client went to check with a teeth lab by the DMV and was told that they will work with any dentist in this area except for her, because she is too picky and not nice. I've been going to Dr Julia for maybe ten years now. I recommend her to all of my friends, especially those who struggle with dentist anxiety. Before I switched to her office, I had had a few traumatic experiences at the dentist. But here, they are kind and gentle, and very understanding with nervous patients. Dr Julia remembers me even if I haven't gone in a couple of years (oops) and she is always so sweet and courteous. If I ever need any work done, she provides laughing gas, and the procedure is so easy for me to sit through. All of her office staff are kind and caring as well. Find another dentist!. I thought she was great at first and everyone was nice but she does horrible work on anything beyond a filling! I just went to another dentist yesterday to check on work she had done because I kept having problems with teeth she worked on. The dentist told me her crowns she put on look like Sombrero hats and decay will sit up top on the ledge of the over sized crown . She crowned a tooth that needed additional work and made her money from the insurance and a month later and a specialist had to drill thru the crown and fix the tooth but now my insurance wont cover another crown. She had the audacity to be angry with me and still denied it needed additional work despite that I got a CT SCAN showing infection from a surgeon! The specialist she reffered me to is the one who fixed it and she angrily said he was wrong. So is she sending me to a specialist who is no good? Is the pain still in the tooth just in my mind or is she wrong? Well she is wrong!!!! She will become visibly upset when it takes more nobicaine than the average person (after I told her) I was in tears and she was upset she had to stop and do another numbing process- Do you think I like additional shots lady?All 3 crowns she did in 2021 need to be re-done!!! You can't make this up!!! She was paid to do a lot of work in my mouth and when I brought up legitimate issues with her work she called me ungrateful..She pretty much told me I was ungrateful because I recieve medi-cal and I should feel lucky that I got her work because I was an aid recipient in the first place basically. She was always reminding me of that fact even after I imformed her of my unique circumstances whuch qualified me for state aid in the first place. One of which is cancer. When I was told certain teeth had to be removed I was scared and wanted to ask a friend or relative for help with that. She wanted to know if I had that resource why I was able to get medi-cal if someone else could help. The specialist I went to yesterday said she did C average work and I have to get the crowns redone when I can. She told me I called her office too much and bothered her staff regarding my questions and concerns especially when I brought up that Medi-cal wasnt going to have to cover a crown that had to be drilled thru due to her error - i told her I had to tell them because what was put on before the more extensive treatment that I needed now had to be damaged and another one isnt covered!! This is when she hit the roof and called in the first place. I should never have allowed her to work me once I felt she didn't like me. I will update this reviews with pics UPDATED! 5/2022 as soon as I go to my first appointment to start the work to fix what she has done! Go somewhere else!!!! Look up what a crown should look like on a tooth! It should seal and be flush with the tooth; hers are not!!!! Think of this review as divine intervention and find someone who won't destroy your teeth!!! The pic other than her sombrero crown is of another tooth that needed immediate attention IN THE FRONT OF MY MOUTH! after she told me that everything in my mouth that needed work she had already done. Dr Julia is so amazing! I have had literally the worst experiences with dentist ever since I was a kid. One of my worst experiences included a root canal that lasted three hours because the dentist was understaffed. At a certain point The numbing agent wore off I felt everything. literally everything it was excruciating. dr. Julia has helped me overcome my fear of the dentist with her incredible service. if you feel even the slightest bit of pain she will not hesitate to give you more numbing medication. this year I have had four cavities done and one root canal. It had been years since I've been to the dentist because I was so scared from past experiences. During my first 2 sessions with Dr Julia I was so nervous I was actually shaking in the chair uncontrollably. It was kind of embarrassing, but she never made me feel bad about it. Getting my permanent crown today. A chipped tooth started it all. I have no insurance and joined their family plan. Have saved about 1000 from plan. Highly recommended from great dentist and staff and fair pricing. I've come from another dental group and substantial savings in price. Not all the bells and whistles of waste like the other. Waited for 2 an a half hours to be seen. She was not caring or kind to me. She is hard to understand & was impatient. She recapped a back tooth which broke off within a week, and had no replacement for it & made me feel it was my fault the caps she had were not large enough. She said my tooth was too big!?After the attitude & the wait & nothing accomplished, I had enough. Didnot go back. Later found out medical was charged for a cleaning that was never done - I had refused it cuz I thought it would be better to have done after work was finished plus had cavities to fix first! read more

Yeah she seems to be gentle and caring, but you should be with the kind of money a Dentist makes. Anyway, I had work done at her office several months ago, which I was not real impressed with, but what can you do once it's started? I had questions and concerns and the only response I ever got was "trust me" - Really? Trust you? When you don't trust me at all. Every visit I had to pay upfront before I was even seen by the Dentist, They wanted their money before the work was even done. They even done 'extra' work that I found a little suspect. Well a lot more suspect. I guess when she has you in the chair going over everything, you think 'well I'm already here, better get it done' Most people don't realize the markup a Dentist has, which can be anywhere from 10 times to 20 times their cost or more. So if you're paying $800 for a service, most likely the Dentist hard costs is only about $40 to $80. I understand there is overhead, but come on, we should expect better (and honest) service at these rates Anyway, now a few months later I decide I need to see a new Dentist and low and behold everything Dr. Negom done, had to be done over COMPLETELY. What a load of crap that is. So now DOUBLE the cost of EVERYTHING. Cost me a ton of money. Will Never go back to Dr. Negom and will never recommend her EVER! Don't let her mild mannered demeanor fool you. She is only in it for the money and nothing else! read more

I really like Dr. Negom! She is gentle and explains everything she is going to do with your teeth. She also has a really nice office and staff. I prefer to see her over my previous dentist( who I will not name but is always busy). She makes you feel at ease and is a very good doctor. She did my root canal and I have had no problems since. My boys and I have been with Julia Negom for 8 years. My youngest son 6 years old at the time needed a tooth pulled, a spacer, a crown and 4 fillings. My son is scared of needles, Julia was so gentle, talked to him threw the hole thing. I loved it how every time she had to drill or poke him with the needle she would tell him she found another sugar bug and to hold still so she can catch it. My son never knew that he even had a needle sticking him are the loud noise of the drill was drilling into his teeth. Julia Negom is the only Dentist you will ever need. read more

Dr. Julie Negom is nice and informative but front desk staff is rude and unprofessional. I support women owned and operated businesses but After my most recent Experience I will never go back to her. I was told that there were no payment plan options for me and if I could not afford it I can go elsewhere. She did not say bye and she stormed out of the room like I was just a number. She or her staff could car less about me as a patient and as a business professional I would never treat my client like that poorly. The best compliment that a patron can give a business owner isa rreferral and unfortunately, I would never refer anyone to her. Meanwhile, Dr. Bakers office was nice and professional and got me in the same day and they worked out a payment plan that accommodated my needs. read more

I highly recommend this dentist truly the best I have ever gone to and im 33 years old. I get anxiety everytime I go to the dentist ever since I was little but their staff and dentist are great. They make you feel at ease and the dentist is very gentle and takes her time to explain what she is doing and the process. I had to get a root canal and I had heard horror stories but it was not bad at all. I have not had to take any pain medicine up to now and im on my second day. Absolutely love this dentist office! They're fast and always on time. Very efficient and I never feel like I'm getting ripped off. My son and I have been coming here for about two years and we're very happy. Every now and again they run behind appointments but that's normal. THE BEST!!! Dr. Negom is SO nice, gentle, and knows what she is doing! I will never fear going to the dentist again, as long as it's Dr. Negom!!! I had went to another dentist about a month before I came here, and they told me I needed a wisdom tooth pulled because it was rotting (which it was) but the first dentist I went to was so quick to say "alright we'll send your x-rays in to get approval to pull all 4!" which scared me because about 6 months ago a different dentist told me I would need an oral surgeon for some of my wisdom teeth(I never fell through with the oral surgeon, then my insurance changed to Medi-cal) so I wanted to get a second opinion which is when I came to Dr. Negom and I was so relieved when she actually sat there & explained what she needed to do. She told me she could pull my rotting wisdom tooth & referred me to an oral surgeon for the other 3 which could wait because their fine. I went in the next day for 2 fillings & the extraction & it was so pleasant! I was really scared about the extraction & Dr. Negom & her dental assistant really put my mind at ease! I didn't feel one bit of pain AT ALL! She first numbed me with numbing gel, then injected the local anesthesia (I didnt even feel a pinch) & while she was working on my teeth, she had me on the "laughing gas" which kept me relaxed. I will continue coming here for as long as I can. I HIGHLY recommend this dental office, all of the staff is extremely nice & caring. read more

I really love this dentist and her staff. They were incredibly friendly and professional, and everything was explained to me at length in regard to my situation with my tooth infection. Options were provided and the proper pain medication and antibiotics were prescribed, which made a huge difference already in one night! Much less pain and I was able to sleep again finally! I am the biggest baby when it comes to dentists, but Dr. Negom and her staff made me feel like they understood me, and I appreciated that very much. She referred me out to an oral surgeon in the area based on my situation, but I will be going back for dental work at a later date.
