I wanted a second opinion because I think my current dentist is ripping me off. They called and said that I would have to pay for x-rays. I know that I'm only allowed one a year with my insurance, but I told them my current dentist could email them to them. And Hailey told me that Dr.Christy Lee doesn't accept x-rays from other dentists. That makes no sense. I never heard of a dentist not accepting x-rays from another dentist. That is bad business and they are crooks for doing that. I might consider giving them one more chance next year when I don't have to pay for the x-rays and just $50 deductible. I hope they don't pull this crap again. If they do, they will lose my business permanently and I will tell all my family and friends not to go there. read more

Not a big fan of the layout. The rooms feel like one big closet with bins of supplies stored in plain site. Not saying it's dirty it just lacks organization. There is no privacy in between rooms you can hear the other person and their convo clearly. Cleanings don't feel thorough enough for me. read more

Things have changed since Dr. Wada left and Dr. Lee took over. First, Dr. Lee doesn't automatically give you your toothbrush package. Now her staff will asks if you want one. Same goes for the appointment card. They ask if you want one. Perhaps if Dr. Lee wants to save money, she should cut the TV and streaming programs instead of cutting the things that normal dentists give out to their patients. read more

I found Dr.Lee on google and came to see her for a second opinion last month because the other office I went to said I need to get 3 crowns and 7 fillings done. I was very skeptical because I have heard from my friend that some places they will over diagnose you and give treatments that you dont need just so they can make money off you. After the Xray and exam with Dr.Lee she told me I just need 1 crown and the other 2 were just 2 large silver fillings and Dr. Lee said we can monitor them. The other 4 teeth were dark stains not cavity because I drink alot of coffee. Dr. Lee is very honest and professional and the staff were also super nice and knowledgeable they helped me with the timing of my treatment so that I can get the most out of my dental benifits. I have been looking for a good dentist for quite a long time now. After my wisdom teeth were removed years ago I hesitated to look for a new dentist. I value my teeth so I decided to take the time to find a good dentist. After calling around the AV, Dr. Lee's office receptionist (Haylee?) was very sweet, soft spoken and pleasant, she worked with me on getting an appointment and I knew I had found THE place. Most dentist I called, their receptionists were rude/short/or non informative at all. I came in for my appointment on Thursday and everything went well. Their office is very clean and welcoming. Dr. Lee took the time to throughly explain everything that was being done to me. She answered any questions I had without any attitude (other dentists have done that to me in the past) and I appreciate that she shows that she cares for her clients. She checked on me throughout my cleaning and I thought that was very sweet. The girl taking the X-rays was very nice as well. Over all a good experience. Definitely recommend. read more

So Dr. Lee took over after Dr. Wada retired. I have a major phobia going to the dentist but I am committed in coming every six months especially since I had to have a deep cleaning a few years ago. Lord, knows I dread my dental appointment but at 55 I want to keep my pearly whites. I've noticed many people my age with missing teeth and I'm not trying to look like a jack-o'-lantern. So I stay faithful and committed. Haley and Arqueta (I know I'm messing up the spelling) in the front are extremely sweet and helpful. Thank God, today I didn't have to have x-rays only once a year. Today ,I had my cleaning and my hygienist Sonya retired and she was phenomenal. There is a new hygienist and her name is Michelle. She was sweet kind and very gentle. Dr Lee did my exam and she is wonderful. I love coming to Dr Lee she has done an amazing job taking over for Dr Wada since he retired. I found Dr. Lee on yelp and the 5 star rating encouraged me to call. Glad I did! First, the customer service is PHENOMENAL, from the receptionist, to assistants, to Dr. Lee. EVERYONE is kind, patient, and courteous. Secondly, Dr. Lee's dentistry skills are SUPERB. She gave me a shot for numbing and I didn't realize it because she was that skilled at administering. I believe in giving credit for the more than exceptional service I received at Dr. Lee's office. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the people there are second too none. They are all very friendly and professional starting from the ladies at the front desk, and the young lady who took my X-rays (sorry I can't remember their names), but they are very nice every time I go in for a procedure. Dr. Lee took and her assistant care of my fillings so quickly, and painless that I was shocked they were finished so quickly. I felt ZERO pain.!! She is very skilled and now my new dentist!!! They did pretty good they referred me to a Root canal specialist and they were quick and easy and gave me a prescription pill for pain such as Norco's and Percocets they wouldn't give me Percocets they ended up give me Norco's so I went ahead and double dip on those and got high ! I went in for a check up/x-ray and cleaning with Dr. Lee and she was very attentive and understanding of all the different questions I had. The employees were all very friendly and made sure that I knew exactly what would be taken care of with my insurance. I hadn't been to a dentist in a while so she thoroughly explained all the issues I needed to have addressed and I appreciated Dr. Lee's honesty in not trying to just force me to get unnecessary treatment done as I've experienced in the past with some places. I have usually had very painful teeth cleanings at other dentists but she took her time and made sure that I was comfortable and not in pain during the cleaning which was a surprise as I didn't know that it could be a painless process! I'll be going back soon to get my fillings taken care of and I definitely feel much better knowing that Dr. Lee is gentle when she works on her patients. Overall, best dentist experience I have had so far which definitely deserves 5 stars. I am not too close to Lancaster but definitely would rather make the drive to go visit here than have bad experiences elsewhere. read more

I'm unsure where Dr. Christy Lee received her license but it should be questioned. I came in for an exam 6 months ago, was told I needed 2 fillings and nothing else. Received the treatment, but after over a week of sensitivity, I went back to get it looked at. She then touched it up and sent me on my way. Over the next couple of months, I still had sensitivity so I decided to get a second opinion from a trusted dentist that was recommended to me by a friend. I was told that I had 13 cavities, a crack in my tooth, and a small hole in the filling I received from my last dentist (Dr. Christy Lee).13 cavities do not develop over the course of a few months so I know for a fact they were present when I went in for my exam with Dr. Christy Lee. For her not to catch that and for her work on my teeth to degrade in less than 2 months is absolutely insane! I do not go recommend anyone go here for their first and only opinion. Please get a second opinion before wasting money on her halfass work. read more

I haven't been to the dentist since i was a kid, now being 25 I finally have insurance and can afford to go. I knew a visit was long overdue, but I've heard so many horror stories from friends and family about dentist visits. Of course I was so nervous I wouldn't find a place for me. I found Dr. Christy Lee through my insurance. I scheduled an appointment for a basic check up just to get started, the location is so easy to find on Lancaster Blvd. From the phone call, to the check in desk, to my x rays, my first cleaning, cavity fillings, and also a root canal (which was done by a referred endodontist) to my crown and hopefully braces next! EVERYTHING has been so simple and flawless!!!! I can't believe I got so lucky!!! Dr Christy definitely runs the most phenomenal dentistry !!! My favorite part is just how her and the nurses check up on you so often during procedures, really feel cared for!! Can't say enough about this place :)) I've been referring to everyone I know! Dr. Wada and staff are AMAZING! If you are afraid of the dentist GO HERE! The staff makes you feel so safe and they are lovely. Dr. Wada is gentle and old school, he knows what he is doing. You can totally tell that he this is his passion. He has been on Lancaster BLVD for years! He is an honest man and will tell you like it is. The only downside is, they dont offer any type of sedation. I thought I was going to need it for a root canal but I powered through it. He brings in a specialist once a month for root canals. I forget his name but he is located in Pasadena and he was awesome. QUICK too! They truly cater to the scaredy cats. If you want an honest, caring dentist- GO SEE HIM! He is awesome. read more
