We had a great dinner here. We arrived around 7:30 and the place was empty. There was only one other table dining. We ordered a bottle of French Merlot and it was quite good, soft and velvety. For appetizers, I had a goat cheese dish and my wife had the crab cakes. The crab cakes were tasty but lacking of crabs.
For the main course I had the mackerel and my wife had the chicken. Both were solid, good dishes but did not have that special push to bring them up to a five. For desert, I had the chocolate cube and my wife had the creme brûlée. Both were excellent.
One of the highlights of this dinner was the wait staff. They were truly outstanding and brought the experience up to a five. By the time we left, most of the tables were occupied. We are pleased that we ate here. read more
