    Stuffed crust cheese pull!
    Ken L.

I discovered this place early on during a job I did in Albertville about 3 years ago which had me in town for the better part of 3 months. Since then, I've been coming to town 3 or 4 times per year, and I always have to make time to stop here. I'm not a huge drinker, but the sweet wines are always delicious. However, the artisan pizzas are the draw for me. On my most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the restaurant and winery recently expanded into a beautiful new space at the back of the property, accompanied by a full expanded menu. I came for the pizza, but had to try the the smash burger instead. No regrets! The burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the bread was fresh, and the thin fries were battered and seasoned. If you're looking for a great place for lunch or early dinner in a beautiful setting, this is the place!

Hands down best pizza I have ever had. My family and I have been customers for YEARS Service is amazing every single time, awesome and beautiful environment. A must try for sure! Never ever disappoints!

    Flight and charcuterie board.

We stopped in after a round of golf and enjoyed a flight of wine and a three-cheese charcuterie board. It's a beautiful place, and we had a great experience. The owner and her daughter-in-law were very accommodating and gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner. We highly recommend checking out this adorable winery. Our only complaint was the hours. We wanted to stay longer!

I must say the scenery of this vineyard is beautiful. However beware, this vineyard only has outdoor seating and therefore you will have to deal with the elements/bugs, but they do have some shaded areas for seating. The staff was friendly despite our confusion over the menu. I've been to a few vineyards and I think I was expecting a little bit more "hand holding" when it came to ordering from the menu and a better description of the wines they sold. We were immediately greeted and sat and then "dumped" so to speak. We had to get someone's attention to come back and further explain the wine menu. Also, if you love sweet wines, then this is the place for you. They were a little too sweet for my liking, but my group enjoyed them. They also have a great variety of wines and wine slushes. Lastly, I really enjoyed their pizza and charcuterie board. You even get to pick your own cheese/cheeses. All in all, it is a beautiful vineyard. Just make sure to check the weather before going.

Good selection of wines for all tastes. Great coal-fired pizza. Wine slushies!!!! Do I need to say more? Drawbacks.... ordering process is inefficient. We had to wait to get to the register to see what we could order. They charge you a fee for the tasting glass but they give you a plastic cup of each wine. Parking is small. Thet don't allow outside food. They have cool wine accessories in the store but nothing had prices. A variety of jams (hot pepper, etc.)

Relaxing nice wines and good place to enjoy some finger foods and refreshments, service was very good also

Beautiful setting, great pizzas, wonderful wine. I didn't expect to like the slushies but they were so good. A perfect evening. Will definitely be back.

Brick oven pizza from Jules J Berta
    Richelle S.

We were searching for homemade pizza in the NE Alabama area and came across this hidden gem. You MUST, I repeat MUST, try the brick oven pizza at Jules J. Berta! It's family-owned and operated. The service was quick and kind. My favorite pizza is the BBQ chicken, but my husband loves Three Little Pigs. We really enjoyed sitting under the vine covered patio, and walking through the vineyard after lunch. The drive near Lake Guntersville was an added bonus!

Variety of pizza and appetizers! Slushy flights!

Very informative and fun to chat with. She made us welcome and offered some neat ideas of how she uses the wine jellies as a meal base in cooking! Their wines were nice, not overly sweet (a couple sweet options) we opted for a wonderful Riesling. I don't usually go white but theirs was bright, refreshing and not much tannin. I purchased it to go with a seafood dish! Can't wait to open it! Tip: no food or snack tray options available. They don't have signature glasses to buy.

I was excited to see the crowded parking lot when we arrived. Still ample parking was available. It's been 2 years since my last review so I had forgotten the setup. I really enjoyed interacting with her and she made this experience fantastic! She was very efficient and had a great personality. All of the staff were amazing & hardworking! I ordered a wine flight. I did good picking out 4 delicious wines. My fav was the Grenache Rose! So refreshing, crisp and just down right very satisfying! For food we kept it light. We split the Brie cranberry and almond app and I just had to try that hot honey peach cheesecake. We enjoyed both selections so much! Unfortunately, August 10th is their last day of operation. I definitely recommend supporting this local business if you can. I plan to go back to purchase some wines and also to attend events they have planned.

He explained why we could only have 5 different kinds, still don't like it as I've never been to a winery that limits you on tastings, even if you pay to taste 5, 10, or 15 wines! I mean how am I supposed to buy more if I don't know what it tastes like? Anyways, my husband chose 5 and I chose 5, could have easily tried 10 more. Mine: 1. Skeeter Piss: pear, peach and apple blend. My favorite of the day. 2. Peach: not the smoked one, still would have liked to try that one, but the regular sweet peach was good! 3. Red sangria: good and fruity! 4. Caramel apple: not for me, but interesting to try 5. Black cherry: really liked this one! Husband: 1. Blackberry/blueberry blend: good, but we have a couple bottles at home of another winery with the same blend that is one of our favorite wines. Just can't compete. 2. Mango: I liked it, but hubs did not. 3. Watermelon: light, but good. 4. Honey mead: very floral, not bad, just don't want a full glass. 4. Peanut butter chocolate - not good, but then again I don't care for chocolate wines. We ended up going home with 2 of the Skeeter and 1 peach, could have easily got a couple more! Great winery to stop by on the way through! Just wish I could have tried more.
