I can not believe this place has been open since 2015 and there is no review. This small local brewery serves up their beer on site, but if you want to take some home you will need to bring a growler. I have never heard of them before, and I found out they only sell and distribute locally to restaurants. No cans available as of yet, but I heard they might start selling their beer in cans and distributing outside this area. I tried their amber, the IPA, and the blond. The amber had a strong roasted flavor, very coffee like. My lady really liked the amber. I thought the IPA was okay, but I really liked the blond. Of the 3 we tried, I think that was the best. They have a descent bar, and you can bring food in from outside if you wish. They had live music on Saturday afternoon, which was a nice touch.

Great local brewery with a wide range of beer styles. Knowledgeable, and friendly staff. I recommend the Juicy Double IPA, and the hubby recommends the Oktoberfest. Outdoor patio for those that smoke (like my husband) and a food truck just pulled in!

Great spot tucked away across from the lake in Guntersville! Amazing fresh from the tap beer and they always have a great selection. Service is the best I've had anywhere. Do yourself a favor and come in here weekly. You will not regret it. I personally suggest the DIPA-358 but it's not for beginners at 9.5%. What ever you get you will enjoy it, I have no doubt.

The Amber Ale is quite unique, I have never tasted anything quite like it.

They had a band called Bob and the Fog playing. They sounded good. There is room to dance. They host other social events like Bingo, corn hole toss and darts. Parking is ok for persons with disabilities. They also allow outside food but NO DRINKS. I saw some deliveries in the area. They also had a food trailer in the parking lot. That person sold fried fish and chicken with chips it was ok. I think some pizzas would be great. Plenty of beer to choose from their house menu. They have some wine and canned sodas. Prices are fare. Overall had a good time and we would come back.

We have loved their Blood Orange Berliner Weisse for years and have always said we needed to make it to the brewery. Today was the perfect chance. It was a Sunday afternoon, and luckily, they were open. There were just a few people, but as they day progressed, more trickled in. Michelle, the beertender, at the time was great. She suggested all sorts of beers based on my taste and let me sample them all. One suggestion she had was to mix the Mango with the Blood Orange. It was really good. The two that I ended up drinking were the Duck River Dunkel and the ISB English Ale. I also liked that they had pretzels and popcorn as bar snacks. We met some really nice people and talked for a while. It reminded me of the old summer days when everyone would just sit and talk and enjoy life. It sure beat the fast-paced and scheduled life that goes on today.

Back 40 has become my favorite brewery in the area. It has a huge outdoor area, a huge indoor area,…read moreand a wide variety of beers that are all good in their own right. It doesn't matter how busy it gets (at least as I've seen), there is plenty of room, plenty of staff, and plenty of beer to ensure you don't feel crowded or thirsty from the wait. I've tried just about every beer they have minus maybe the seasonals and you could put them next to any other HSV brewery and they'll hold their own if not best the competitor. It's not elitist either, it's approachable, down to earth, and doesn't take itself too seriously with all kinds of wild tasting notes or stories. The story is the beer and the location. I have not eaten here so I cannot comment on the food, but the space (in and outside) as well as the beer are as top notch as I have seen in the area. Sure, it's better when you can be outside... but not the only time or reason to go. It just enhances the already chill and relaxed vibe that not only the staff has, the patrons as well seem to embody that feel as well. It's a nice place to burn an afternoon, happy hour, or evening with people you want to spend time with.

Wings were extremely basic and barely had flavor with the dry rub. Burger was great though and they gave a ton of fries. I'm not a beer drinker so didn't try any of those. Would come back to give a few other options a try. Service was good for what small interactions we had. Great space though!
