This is a great little divey place. Immediately upon entering the restaurant we were made to feel like family. So much so that I assumed my husband knew the staff. But no, they're just that friendly. The waitress was really upbeat and kindly offered suggestions in each category of the menu. She helped make my choice of entrée really simple. Buy One Get One Free pizzas!?! Yes please! It doesn't even have to be the same toppings! We plan on coming back for the buffet sometime soon. 10/10 would recommend because when you're here, you're family.

All of our food was fresh and delicious. I got the gyro platter and my mom got a hamburger steak.

RM Market & Eatery - Ranch burger with macaroni and cheese

Wow! Really, really, really impressed at how delicious this place was. We were road-tripping in…read morethe area and decided to stop in for lunch, and I'm so glad we did! Cleveland is a small town that would be easy for many to miss, but a trip to the area for this restaurant alone is worth it. It seems a fairly popular spot for lunch and also boasts a small local collection of art, the profits of which go to support a local addiction recovery group. Very kind. The restaurant is clearly owned and operated by Christian folks as evidenced by the decorations, but the churchy feeling is very welcoming and not at all proselytizing. Likewise, the service was effusively kind and helpful. They were happy to chat and answer questions about the menu. They greeted each customer with a smile on their face and made appropriate small-talk with regulars. An older gentleman who was clearly hard of hearing was treated with heaps of patience and kindness; he seemed a regular and they said goodbye to him and reassured him they'd be waiting for him when he visited again the following week. It was so sweet and did my heart good. :) The menu has a lot of fancy sandwiches, a few entree salads, and a few entrees like smoked chicken and loaded baked potatoes. Sides are sort of upscale bbq/southern restaurant (grits, greens, potato salad, beans, etc). The prices are appropriate for the portion size and very high quality of the food. I ordered their "Ranch Burger" sans red onion and tomato while both of my parents got the patty melt. I tried their macaroni and cheese for a side; both 'rents got the baked potato salad. Our food was cooked fresh so it took a few minutes to come out; it was more than worth the wait. I will go ahead and get out of the way that the only not gold-star-worthy item was the macaroni and cheese. It wasn't bad, but it seemed like it had been reheated and it was just sort of gloopy and a little oily. I'd get my parents' baked potato salad over that next time; it had fresh-cooked crumbled bacon bits on it and was so smoky and cool. Holy MOLY the sandwiches, yall. The patties were hand-formed on both, steaming hot and cooked perfectly. Nice balance of fattiness too. My burger was an awesome symphony of flavor: slightly sweet, soft pretzel bun, melted sharp cheddar, creamy ranch, and this amazing sweet-and-salty bacon jam that perfectly tied the whole thing together. The copious amount of ranch made it a little hard to eat, but paper towels were readily available and I smashed that dang burger. As delicious as it was, my parents' patty melts may have been even better. Same great burger, add delightfully crispy, thick-cut bacon and this absolutely fabulous cheese dip...WOW. Hard to describe how incredible both sandwiches were, so with that in mind: go TRY THEM yourself. Thanks so much for one of the best meals I've had in a good while!

Food was awesome, the staff was super friendly and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean!…read more We made a trip to Oneonta along with 4 of our grandchildren to see the great grands. Saturday morning agenda consisted of making a trip to Hammer's Mercantile in town for the boys new hunting clothes so we decided to skip cooking and head out for breakfast. We had never eaten at a Huddle House and as timing would have it, we walked in at the perfect time and were able to grab 6 of the 7 chairs available at the bar. (All the tables were full). We sat and chit chatted with the staff while waiting on our food and everyone was so friendly. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection, served hot and was plenty with everyone leaving some on their plate (well at least everyone but the oldest GSon who preceded to finish off everyone else's plates). . Huddle House was a big hit with all our grands and we will definitely be back.

The waffle and chicken were still good and luckily I had some butter and syrup at home to enjoy it. I also decided to try something else new which was the blueberry muffin bites that were okay, but the side of whipped cream cheese was missing which would've made it a lot better. I will say my boyfriend got the caramel chocolate pie and that was very good. Overall, the meal was subpar so pro-tip, make sure you dine-in!

My mom read an article in Southern Living featuring this restaurant as the best in Alabama -- or…read moresome similar lofty accolade. We were pleased to find it was in easy driving distance for us, and so off we went to give it a go. Located in the small downtown of Oneonta, we didn't have trouble finding nearby street parking during lunch time. Although the entrance and exterior is low-key, the interior is spacious, airy, and just classy enough for a restaurant that walks a nice line between a finer dining experience and an accessible but high-quality lunch spot. Lofty ceiling, exposed brick, etc. It wasn't super crowded but they were doing a solid business for a midweek lunch. Our waitress was spectacular. She was an older Latina woman with a moderately thick Spanish accent; I'm not sure if she gave us her name. She walked my dad to the restroom when we first arrived, patiently answered questions (both menu and non-menu related...my endlessly curious dad can and will chat up anybody!!), and provided great recommendations. She brought us to-go drinks and boxes without asking (though we definitely needed them!). She was just so perfectly attentive, warm, and gracious. HUGE kudos! Their menu consists of pasta dishes and upscale American and Italian classics like filet mignon and chicken Parmesan. They also have a few more lunch-y items like a steak sandwich. Entrees come with bread and salad for the table. There are jars of delicious, buttery, smooth and herbaceous olive oil waiting on each table to go with the bread. It was perfect with the warm rolls that were brought out to our table. We couldn't stop eating it. The shared salad was large and loaded with fresh vegetables and other goodies, including banana peppers, olives, tomatoes, and red onions. The house dressing was lightly acidic and enjoyable. We got a plate of fried ravioli to share to start. It was delicious! The cheese was SO gooey and there was no shortage of it inside the crispy, salty, breaded ravioli. The dipping sauce wasn't overly sweet and complemented it perfectly. For entrees, my dad ordered a blackened chicken salad, my mom got fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and vegetables (I know she kept mushrooms and peppers but asked for no broccoli), and I got crispy chicken Parmesan. They will grill the chicken if you prefer. This came with my choice of one of my three pasta sauces: tomato basil, Alfredo, or creamy tomato basil, which is half and half tomato basil/alfredo. At the encouraging of our waitress, I went with the creamy tomato basil. Everything was absolutely delicious. My dad's salad was probably the weak link though was still quite tasty -- serves him right for getting a salad at an Italian restaurant. ;). It was huge and the chicken was cooked very well, not at all dry. Mom absolutely loved hers and was very impressed at how beautifully and subtly all the different flavors played together. The creamy tomato basil sauce on my pasta was absolutely fantastic and a great recommendation. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly. My chicken Parmesan was maybe the *tiniest* bit overcooked (edges were a little chewy), but the inner pieces were succulent and the breading and melted cheese on top was delightful. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. It was truly a delightful dining experience. This would be a great road trip for special occasions like an anniversary or even just for a fun way to treat yourself. Please give them a try if you're anywhere nearby. I hope to return in the future despite the distance.

We now drive around 50 minutes one way to dine here. The food is consistently outstanding--elevated dishes that feel like something you'd find at a five-star restaurant. The bread is perfection (10/10), the fried ravioli is a must (10/10), and the Land and Sea is unforgettable. You truly have not experienced sauce until you've tasted the one on that dish. And then there's the bread pudding. Over the years we've made it our mission to try bread pudding at some of Birmingham's top restaurants, and nothing has ever come close to what Mio Sogno serves. It's simply the best. Mio Sogno is a true gem, and we're so glad to have been along for the journey as it's grown. Highly recommend.
