They were all so friendly and our server was polite, knowledgeable, and very helpful recommending different food to us. The prices are reasonable and the portions are very good. I had the catfish as it's one of my favorites and theirs did not disappoint me! Beautifully fried catfish just right! Very flavorful! The baked potato was hot and fresh, but the star for me was the Cole slaw and those fantastic hush puppies! I could've just had the slaw and hush puppies and all would've been perfect! They were delicious! My wife had the pulled pork and bbq beans and she said it was very good! We enjoyed our food, and the experience immensely! My only real advice to give you is, get there early! Today we had a family emergency and I wanted a "quick" double cheeseburger. Nothing else. I walked in, 2 families sitting in the restaurant with drinks, waiting on their food. I walked up to the counter and stood by a register. I looked at my watch. 2 other people came in behind me in line. The "workers" were just wandering around bumping into each other, Oh "Im by the fry station, I'll bag a fry or 2" then wander away. What I am sure was the manager, no definite leadership, was more interested in bring free cookies out to her granddaughter and talking. Finally the existing customers order was ready. They all picked it up, sat down and everyone came back to the counter. Not one order was correct. At this point I had been standing there ignored for 15 minutes. The lady behind me said "This is ridiculous, I'm leaving". After 20 minutes of standing there, finally "Can i help you?". She took my order and the guy behind me. Another guy came in and stood there for 10 minutes, and then left. That's 2 unhappy customers who left out of frustration. Great customer service there Jacks..
