Neat atmosphere. We sat outside the restaurant in the courtyard. Pleasant experience with the taxidermy and water fountain. Service was ok. Pretty slow, but waitress was sweet. Food was ok. I had quiche, pretty expensive for what it was. It was mostly eggs, very little ham or cheese. My daughter had the Texas hash. Shredded beef was dry and hashbrowns not quite cooked. I've been waiting since February to eat at this place. My family came in from San Antonio and I thought it would be the perfect place to eat. The hostess/manager quoted us 20 minutes for our table. After an hour, we decided to leave as they kept seating others before us. When we realized we had been there longer than everyone already sitting down we left. We got there at 11:45 am and left at 1:00pm. Poor hostess and planning skills to seat people. There were tables available that would have accommodated our party when we left. read more

My husband and I went to Juji's kitchen last night for a casual date - it was delicious!!! I had the crab cakes with apple salad, and my husband had the shrimp jalepeno linguini. Those are the best crab cakes I've ever had, and the salad pairing was perfect. This is a new gem in Midland - we look forward to making this a regular for date night. We liked the atmosphere too - cute, casual, warm. Our service was great, and all the employees were super friendly (so not sure what happened with an earlier review that said the service was bad). GREAT food, service, atmosphere, and reasonable princes - it's very special to find this combination in Midland! It was fun to walk around in the Claydesta arboretum afterwards as well to finish off our date. read more

I was very excited to try this place and while the food was decent, along with the wait staff, when we arrived, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. 55 minutes later, we were finally seated. They should tell their hostess to give an honest response as to wait time, not always 20 minutes (which our server told us this is what they always say.) They did finally ask if we wanted something to drink, so we both got iced teas. In my opinion, the tea should've been on the house and not $3.00 for a 16 ounce solo cup. Seems the least they could've done. Some of us have to work, and cannot take a 2 hour lunch. I may or may not go back. Still undecided. read more

With window seats open, that we could have used, we were instead offered a fifteen minute wait. We took the wait and then looked around as four tables opened up and no one was seated. You're lucky if you get to sit out in the courtyard and I would recommend it. Waiting times can be up in the air depending when you go, but I haven't had the misfortune of waiting too long.
