    Acai bowl
    Eileen H.

I tried Juicy Cafe through the Ritual app and got the Acai Bowl which came out to ~$11. Overall, the acai portion was tasty and they give you a good amount of toppings, but the price is a little steep for how much you get in comparison to other places. The blueberries were also on the smaller side. Compared to some other places that include granola, goji berries, nuts, or other nutritious ingredients, the variety of ingredients in Juicy Cafe bowls is quite limited. All in all, the bowl is a nice pick-me-up if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this since it's on the smaller side and I've had better.

    20oz Blueberry Muffin Smoothie

I wasn't too hungry one day because I had a late breakfast, so I decided to get a smoothie for lunch. Located inside of Columbia Tower if you were wondering. Good sized menu with quite a bit of options, so I'm standing there wondering what in the hell I should get. I couldn't make up my mind so I just went with one of the classic smoothies they had and got the Blueberry Muffin. It was pretty good, freshly blended and made to order. 20oz for over $6 is a bit pricey. But what am I going to do, bring my own blender and fresh fruits to work and blend at my desk? It's blueberries, bananas and rice milk. Service was ok, they seem to not put any urgency on getting your order out, will stop and have side conversations when we are all standing there waiting for our orders and can totally hear what they are saying. I don't care how much your beanie cost. I can see some of the similar frustrations with other people standing there with me. Anyways, may check it out again.

I was randomly craving an acai bowl one morning and Yelp showed me this was the closest spot to me so I gave it a try and I was beyond pleased. This spot is on the second floor of the Columbia Tower and it looks pretty popular as there was a little line when i arrived. It was one of the best acai bowls i've had yet, and for $11, its not too outrageously priced. Even though the price tag is a little higher, it was very well worth it. The portion was great and the balance of flavors was very ideal while the ingredients were defintiely very fresh. I will definitely be back for more and I'll try the different variations of smoothie bowls they have to offer!

SUCH a great option if you want to EAT healthy without having your food TASTE healthy. The Columbia Center has a ton of great food options & I was totally looking forward to checking them allllll out, but this spot may end up being a repeat offender (I mean, sometimes a girl's just gotta have her tots, but the REST of the time, this is where you'll find me). I went for the Baja Cali Bowl as a salad (after reluctantly walking away from the taco place downstairs) 2with fresh spinach & added chicken. YUM!! Their ingredient proportions are perfect - just enough shredded cheese to make it taste cheesy but not heavy, generous guacamole portion - and everything is perfectly distribute when they toss it! I forgot to nix the jalapeños and having them in there didn't hurt a bit! (Side note: if you are a serious jalapeño-lover, maybe ask for some extra?) My only regret is not asking for a mini bowl ($6 !!!) instead of their normal size. It's not prominently advertised on their menu (but it is on their website). At 325kcal for the full bowl (plus however much the chicken is), it's not like I have any guilt about devouring the entire thing (which I obviously did), but I am definitely full. I also grabbed a Green Religion Juice (kale + spinach + celery + cucumber + lemon + ginger - 70kcal) which (and this is my fault) was a little TOO green for me (in my mind there was apple in it, in reality there is not). No matter! Still delicious and next time I'll work on my menu comprehension! Definitely will be back to try the other bowls & bases (brown rice! sweet potato! ZOODLES!!!), And MIGHT even sneak back for their avocado toast tomorrow morning... (breakfast served til 10:30am y'all!)

I went here looking for a fresh and healthy juice and that is exactly what I got! Five stars for using fresh and quality ingredients with fast service. I appreciated the wife variety on the menu but really just wanted a juice. I got the beet nice skin juice (or something like that) and it was fantastic with just the right blend of sweet spice from the ginger. Ask them if you have taste preferences and they can adjust your juice or recommend options. The Columbia tower also has new interior design on the cafeteria floors which make it a pleasant and spacious place to eat lunch downtown for not much money. Check this place out!!

I have some cons with this biz, but enough pros that I keep coming back for their freshly made raw juices and the occasional lunch bowl. Over the course of a year my experience with their customer service has varied. I have received very friendly and good customer service, but also there were a couple of times when it wasn't so good and a little on the rude side. I think most recently it's been good. The juiced in front of you fresh raw juices are wonderful. They are pricey, but they are not diluted with ice cubes, so at least your getting a good amount of that raw goodness! I will say that different staff juice slightly different variations of the same namesake juices - I love the jalapeño verde, but find it always tastes slightly different because staff use slightly different amounts of the various vegetable and fruit ingredients. Today mine is missing the little kick of heat which I do enjoy from the jalapeño. They don't have any competition in the area, so they've got my business for the time being.

Cheeky Peanut Bowl with brown rice - Not happy with this locations proportions. Way too much sauce and no brown rice...
    Cadie B.

Very disappointed... I usually go to the location in the Convention Center and it's one of my favorite lunch spots. I tried this location in the Columbia Center, ordered the cheeky peanut bowl with brown rice. They forgot to add the brown rice and on top of that it was soaked in peanut sauce. If my office wasn't a far walk I would have taken it back. There was no line so it wasn't busy, definitely need to take more time making sure the proportions are correct....

Oat ball - tasty, filling, and cheap!
    Monica B.

I'm a fan of smoothies for breakfast and juice all hours of the day. Both smoothies and juices are made fresh and the menu provides a wide range of flavors or you can always make your own. My favorite is anything with beets since I hate juicing those myself because of the staining. In particular, the Skin Beet Beet Beautiful is packed with beets, apples, carrots, lemon, spinach, kale, celery, and cucumber. I get a good amount of greens in addition to the sweet ingredients. If you're looking for a cleanse, they can help you with that as well. I've never done one here but tend to come over for a drink during the week since I work nearby. A great afternoon snack for me are the oat balls. They come in a variety of combinations and are very hearty. They have smaller ones at times. For instance, right now, they have smaller date balls which are a sweet treat. The bowls are good but can get expensive. The bowl base is reasonably priced. I enjoy the Coconut Mango Curry made up of warm coconut curry sauce over spinach, carrots, broccoli, cabbage, and cashews for $6.95. The portion is rather small but I like to add tofu (+1.50) and quinoa (+1). Service is friendly and staffing levels are always appropriate. However, because the juicers are loud, I have trouble hearing when they call out orders. If you're ordering both food and juice, you'll have to listen carefully since the food is prepared on one side of the counter and juices on the other.

    Logo with delicious juices!

Best smoothie I've ever had! Ingredients are super fresh! I tried the C Boost, now I feel like I am over my cold already! I also recommend the Oatballs. They are like an energy bar/no bake cookie and are made with raw gluten-free oats. I tried the Peanut Butter and the Monkey Ball! What a delicious snack! Not too sweet, so it makes for an excellent healthy treat! It's just $2 so pick one up with your juice!

Hearty pesto egg and spinach scramble
    Jenny O.

They just opened this past week. I had the Hearty Pesto, Egg and Spinach Scramble and it was pretty darn good. The Pesto is Vegan but doesn't taste that way at all. The Eggs were very tasty and lot's of veggies. I am excited to have a place to eat so close to work that uses High Quality Food. I look forward to trying more.

Liquid salad (greens, lemon, ginger, apple). Sm.
    Kristin W.

How did I NOT know a Juicy Cafe opened up at the Columbia Center. I've been waiting too long for a juice bar in this area. I no longer need to plan my day around finding juice miles (okay more than a few steps) away. I stopped by for some green juice a little before noon on a Friday. There was only a couple in front of me so I ordered quickly and didn't wait too long for my drink. Service was friendly and efficient. Today I tried the Liquid Greens. It has greens, lemon, ginger and apple. Heavy on the lemon, but tasty. I got the small, which is actually pretty big. Decent price. If you don't like the juices they have on their menu you can create your own :) Cute little spot in the tower. A pretty juice bar. Nice decor. Plenty of seating in front of the bar. I am beyond thrilled they are across the street from me! Bye bye paychecks!

Ordering kiosks inside, not a lot of in person contact. (Perfect for some) The menu options are great. They have a "create your own" plate option, which I got. Wait time said 14 minutes, but it was only around 10 minutes. The teriyaki was my fave of the 2 chicken entrees. The meat was thick, juicy and flavorful. (No gross fatty pieces!) The sesame was good too, but next time I would get a full order of the teriyaki alone. In, out, delicious food, good portion size and a decent price! What more could you ask for!!?

My husband, who prides himself as being a Korean who can handle a high spice level was SWEATING eating the spicy chicken. Granted, the menu does warn that it's very spicy, but he was not expecting this level of heat. He was only able to get through about half the meal and commented that he was glad he didn't have work the next day. (If you know, you know.) I'm not sure if this was just an exceptionally spicy batch, or if it's normally this spicy, but be warned! They're not messing around when it comes to the heat. The edamame was also just so-so. It's a bummer that out of the two times we've come here, we've only enjoyed 1 out of their 4 sides. Combining our first and second experience, I think this is a solid 4-star spot. Good for a takeout meal, if you order the right thing.

First, if you're ordering at lunch, I highly recommend ordering online and then doing a pickup. Thanks to the Yelpers that gave me this pro tip in their reviews! My hubs and I did this twice and we only had to wait 5 minutes or so for our orders while the people who ordered at the counter had to wait A LOT longer. I liked everything I ate here on both days and so did my hubs. The nice and efficient sandwich maker fellow here is really good at his job! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and I am so glad I finally did! We ordered a few things to share and every single dish was delicious! Shrimp toast: this was a great appetizer to share! Very crispy and the sauces on the side gave it a more complex flavor! It came with a sweet mayo and chili sauce. The chili sauce is definitely spicy if you can't handle spice so beware on how much you're using if that's the case. I also really enjoyed the slaw that came with it, it was very refreshing and it had a bit of sweet mayo flavor to it, I think it's the same as the dipping sauce but I could be wrong! Fried oysters: these were delicious! I think fried oysters can be a hit or miss for me, sometimes the interior can feel too dry and feel kinda of mushy-like, like I'm eating bread rather than seafood. But this had great texture on the inside while being crispy on the outside! The sauce on the side tasted like a pepper aioli which gave the oyster a nice tang *the fried dishes were great but after having a few, it definitely felt heavy, so this would be something I share with someone else vs eating it on my own Smoked salmon belly dip: I really enjoyed this! It was creamy and had chunks of salmon in it. It wasn't too dense or thick so it was perfect for scooping onto the kettle chips. The kettle chips were lightly salted so it was the perfect combo with the dip. Clam chowder: wow I absolutely loved this! This is different than any other chowder I've had. While I love a white creamy chowder from your typical seafood places, the base being a fish stock definitely brought out the seafood flavor vs a white chowder feeling like a cream base. This chowder still felt creamy and rich without the seafood flavor being overpowered. Rockfish bowl: the crab rolls were sold out by the time we made it to the register so we opted for this instead and I am so glad that we did. I didn't really expect this to blow me away but this was such a refreshing dish that balanced out the fried dishes we got. It used viet flavors that you may typically find in a banh mi which made it refreshing and had great texture from all the different fresh ingredients and fried garlic. I also loved how the fish came in patty form mixed with pork, it was flavorful and moist. I love any type of fish tofu/patty, I think it really makes fish flavorful when it sometimes can have a really mild flavor. I'll definitely be back to try the crab rolls!
