We loved Juicekeys!! They have 5 smoothie bowl options and many more smoothie options. I got the Blueberry Chia and added bananas on top. The bowls are more decadent than your typical açaí bowl, which I really enjoyed. The Give Me Mo bowl tastes like chocolate ice cream with a hint of coffee - I'm not complaining since it's so healthy! Definitely go check it out! If you're driving, I recommend parking in the Corcoran Street Garage and walking up - free on weekends. When visiting, make sure you don't skip the loft! I prefer bowls over smoothies (I like to chew my food) so I wish they had more bowls. I selected the Holy Cacao Bowl, it came out in like 2 minutes it was cold and refreshing. I am unsure if I'll find myself wanting to give this business another chance or not... I ordered the protein smoothie, total came out to a little over $11.77. I was already a little thrown off with the steep price for a drink but I knew there were a number of ingredients and I know there's a price to pay for "healthier" ingredients. Sooooo, I've been a juice keys fan for a couple of years now. One of my coworkers put me on and I've been hooked! I usually go to their Falls of Neuse location in Raleigh since I work close by, but weekends I'm at the Durham location. It's absolutely amazing. One... I love the fact that it's a small growing family business, two... the service is always amazing. Three... it's so clean I'm scared to touch anything (that's a good thing) and lastly, the drinks are good. I'm a huge green juice fan and my favorite is the Green Bibi. Went here for the first time and it is super cute. I got the strawberry bowl & it was really tasty. The smoothie was very creamy & had a nice vanilla flavor to it. I would have preferred a greater variety of fruits toppings but the granola throughout was a nice texture. I will say their bowls are way overpriced. I make my own at home for a fraction of the price. Also, when I lived in San Diego, açaí & pitaya bowls were on average about $7-8 & this was $13. Me and my best friend would come here weekly when we lived in the area. The green-zini smoothie with extra spirulina was a hit! I just recently went because I was back in the area and they were out of spirulina so maybe there's a drought? But this particular Juicekeys location makes the best smoothies and has the best service. Some reviews complain about the pricing but I feel that it is justified by the quality of the menu items and you're just getting what you pay for and it's totally worth it. When I think of a super healthy and organic place, the first thing that comes to mind is Juice Keys. They not only have juices, but a large variety of smoothies as well as smoothie bowls. They even have to go freshly made food and snacks. At first glance the price point is on the higher side which almost turned me away but when you speak to the staff you realize why the prices are higher. They are one of the unique smoothie shops that don't add water or ice to their smoothies. It is purely just packed with the ingredients listed, meaning denser, and more filling treats. Considering that I think the price makes sense. This location is newer than the Raleigh one, and provides great customer service since the first week it opened. I hope you like your smoothies thicc. My first experience at Juicekeys was pretty good. As a Clean Juice regular I had an idea what to expect. A $10-$13 smoothie that drinks like a traditional smoothie or maybe a milkshake. Juicekeys makes big deal about how their smoothies don't use ice. There's some good and bad to this but overall the final product is very good. Being my first experience at Juicekeys the menu is beautifully designed and a bit overwhelming. I settled on a large Dreamsicle (Coconut Water, Orange, Mango, Banana, Raw Cashew Butter, Raw Vanilla Protein, Orange Extract, Stevia). Since they don't use ice their smoothies are super think. Think more along the lines of a Blizzard at Dairy Queen. It's the kind of thing they could turn upside down and it wouldn't slip out of the cup. I'm honestly surprised they didn't borrow that marketing ploy from Dairy Queen now that I think about it. Their smoothies are thicc like a Cookout milkshake. You're not drinking this baby with a straw unless it sits in the sun for 10 minutes. So be warned it's not like something you'll get and be able to slurp away with a quickness. You wait for their smoothies to get good and ready for you. The Dreamsicle smoothie was overall pretty good. It could have been a little sweeter but I'd still order it again. The large size was the right size for me since I was looking at it for a meal replacement and less of a snack. Like I said, these things are thicc so don't go in thinking this is some liquidly Smoothie King nonsense. You're going to be sucking on that straw like your trying to siphon gas like it's the apocalypse and AAA isn't coming to help save you. Their establishment is in the new trendy One City Center in Durham so it's centrally located to everything downtown. It's a good addition to the downtown scene since there really isn't a smoothie/acai bowl place close by beyond Jamba Juice. The staff was super polite and I can easily see myself coming here again. juicekeys is a great place to hang out and get a power bowl or juice. there's a lot of seating and internet so you can work. there's also a loft section which is really nice if you have a group. there's background noise of music and a babbling brook of their fountain waterfall. can't get any better than that for a study spot. but the price definitely steep for a cup of juice. it's yummy for sure and i like the sweeter ones but it's healthy and yummy. definitely a nice spot that i'll be back to read more

Was a little worried coming in here since a "fancy" juice place is not really my type of place, but upon walking in, we were warmly welcomed by the employee at the counter. The inside is super cute, with a little waterfall in the back and a photo of a Durham skyline so it kind of looks like you're sitting out side....really good atmosphere in here! The employee working was very friendly and when we told her it was our first time visiting, she kindly went through the whole menu board to give us a run-down of the smoothies, juices and bowls available. Both of us went for a juice because we had eaten a big lunch earlier in the day and still weren't super hungry...I'm a huge fan of ginger so I went with the #23 Green Bibi and it was delicious!! We both got 24oz sizes so the price added up quite fast. I really enjoyed it here and will think of it as a treat when I want something quick and healthy after a workout or something, but I can't make it a regular thing at the prices they charge. read more

It was a Hot day and I was downtown and needed something to refresh me so this was a good stop...Like with a lot of these places, you are just overwhelmed with the choices.....But, I just settled for something basic that had some Mango within it....and I did sample one or two of the others as well....Prices were in that mid range, but you kinda of expect that from a Smoothie/Juice place and the lady at the front counter was real nice and shared some of her life story as well as told me about the siblings who own the place...Apparently they have one in Raleigh as well, and I think I might have visited that at a point I was living in the Capital City but please don't quote me on that...Also had the pleasure of meeting a couple of entrepreneurs who use the WeWork space upstairs and they were very pleasant as well...Told them about my Podcast and they told me about their Real Estate business....Referred them to a photography friend of mine....The way the place is laid out, I'm thinking it's almost designed for this kind of networking to happen naturally.....and, during the Summer, we all need to find ways to cool off.... read more

Wow, I am so impressed by Juicekeys. I've never been to another location but am a big fan of smoothie bowls. What I hate is when the flavor combinations are meh (like they have the same ingredients in each just with different toppings) and the service takes forever (seriously, other places I've waited 20 minutes for a simple smoothie). I was greeted at the door with a smile and welcome, plus an introduction to their color coded and highly organized menu. I expressed that I wanted a smoothie bowl with a little more green than the options provided so they suggested I add kale to the key lime now for $1. This bowl is so good - packed with favor and a dense smoothie. I love the presentation - they bring it out on a gorgeous wooden tray. The inside decor is ADORABLE and would be a great alternative to meeting someone for coffee.
