My whole family knows I love juice it up (hence why they're getting 2 stars and not 1). So I got a giftcard for Christmas to buy my oh so delicious grinded up vegetables and fruits. But sadly everyday since christmas their "loyalty machine" has been down? I'm not really sure what a loyalty machine is but it sure doesn't seem very loyal to me. But oh dont worry you can spend normal cash and just come back another time to be rejected again! I've gotten to the point where I just call in to see if it's working but the employees must be pretty young because I'm pretty sure they dont even know what a landline is. read more

Management needs to talk to their staff about not judging people's requests or orders. This was my first time coming to this location and I requested to have something added to my juice, nothing extravagant or cause pain to the maker, and the guy helping me was so rude. I have my juice made like this at other locations and it tastes good to me, but he was the first to show disgust and rolled his eyes when I said I like it that way. He barely added any spinach, kale, or cucumber, etc and his demeanor was unprofessional. When his coworker came from the kitchen she looked sloppy and was looking on her phone trying to tell him about something, while he was trying to make my drink. I'm all for having fun at work, but they need to be talked to about being professional when customers are present. If they don't like their job, then go find another. Went in today with my son and my friend. One of the girls working there was so rude and none of them were friendly when we walked in. I don't go here often and I am not really familiar with their menu, so it took me a minute. The girl waiting to take my order had an attitude maybe because she felt I was taking to long? I don't really know. I ordered a smoothly and got my free boost. My friend had offered right before me and asked what a boost was so I showed her on the menu. She was bummed because she didn't know and didn't read the entire menu to see. I asked the girl at the counter why they didn't ask customers if they wanted their free boost when offering and basically her response was if we can't read then it's the customers fault. This location used to be my favorite. NOW IT STINKS! On MANY of my previous visits, this location was ALWAYS OUT of IMPORTANT ingredients for my FAVORITE DRINKS...which I tolerated b'cuz I still enjoyed drinking my second and third favorites. After this past week...I've decided it would be my LAST VISIT~ I placed my order and paid, then overheard the next cashier reminded her customer about the JIU loyalty card. Since my cashier did NOT remind me, I approached this cashier with my receipt and "paper" loyalty card, and asked for a "punch" for my purchase just made a few minutes before. She stated that they no longer honor the "paper" card and began to hand me the new keyring/plastic version. I asked if she could honor the purchase I made (less than 5 minutes prior) and she said NO...b'cuz it had to be at the time of purchase. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The NEW MANAGER ( I inquired about the man who was PICKING HIS NOSE...and STANDING with his arms CROSSED just behind her) which she stated is the NEW MANAGER. Although I did NOT ask her to get his approval to honor the transaction, she did NOT offer to see if he could override the cashiers level of approval. I guess he was a little to busy looking for buried treasures! Lastly...regarding MY DRINK. I decided to order a Juice beverage. The employee did NOT clean out the juicer until he made my medium beverage (which was $6.25...WOW! I'll now give my money to Trader Joe'S) He SCOOPED CHUNKS of PULP from MANY PREVIOUS orders...and did NOT RINSE the machine. I am ALLERGIC to some fruits...and could have easily had a serious reaction if the CROSS CONTAMINATION of a trigger fruit wound up in my cup. Suffice to say...I will NEVER solicit this location again! 5 - thumbs DOWN! read more

I absolutely LOVE juice it up! This one especially. Their customer service first of all is great. If anyone reading this works at the juice it up in riverside plaza, GOOD JOB WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KEEP IT UP. I value highly of good, prompt and friendly service. Thank you for that. I love that they actually put REAL fruit into the smoothies. Absolutely delicious and phenomenal. My favorites that I would recommend to anyone would be Passion Punch and Razzle-Dazzle. The store is neat and really organized. There isn't a restroom though, which is not that big of a deal since they are surrounded next to different stores that have restrooms and the plaza has a restroom for the public as well. But overall it's a great place to go to and I always go after my climbing workout, grab a smoothie and head home or to work. read more

Went to this juice it up yesterday.such a bad experience.we ordered 2 immunizers.they tasted like green lemonade.this juice it up cant get it right.im a regular juicer.i drink green drinks everyday.when i come to visit my mom we visit this juice it up.i try my best to be kind n patient but honestly a few weeks back we came for a immunizer.we ordered two.they both tasted like yuk!so much lemon it seperated n tasted like lemonade with greens.plus there was brown stuff floating in our drink.we took pictures n going to send to corporate.then we came back a couple days ago n tried it one more time .i told tge first gentleman only a pinch of lemon but a very nice girl made our order but when we left it still did not taste like the immunizer should.way too much lemon.its like they use lemon juice as a filler for not juices enough greens.my son said i guess we should not come here and just go to Nectar juice.what a shame we cant get a drink that tastes right.i hope in the future these employees can be trained to follow a chart with directions.so the drinks are constistant....best of luck to this juice it up.ut seriously needs help. read more

Try their seabreeze squeeze if you are into tropical drinks. one of my favorites and I always seem to get it since its sooo delicious good customer service. Made sure they say hello and if they're busy they'll let you know they will be right with you. Which says a lot since I use to work in customer service. I usually go here because my daughter loves their smoothies. It is not always a pleasant experience. Usually, the staff makes me feel like they are doing me a huge favor by waiting on me. Tonight my 14 year old daughter, her friend and I went there. The people working were a breath of fresh air. Their names were Alyson and Asher. They were friendly and helpful and actually seemed to be enjoying their job. Such a nice change from the way we are usually treated. I have to say, the smoothies are always delicious, but I like to patronize places where customers are still treated as if they are important and not an imposition. I live right between the JIU off wood and this store. And ever since I've been here I've never been disappointed. The wait is never long for my drink, the lines are never too long, all because of the pace their staff has. Very friendly staff that will help you find the right drink for you. The juices are fine, nothing remarkable either way. The customer service or lack thereof is what warrants the review. They charge $1 to split a juice into two cups. Other Juice It Up locations don't do this. When I mentioned this to the manager, she without any type of empathy or consideration said it was the owners' decision. No apology, nothing. I understand that they have to pay for the cup, which probably only costs them 5 to 15 cents, and I would have paid that without problem. But I have a problem with the fact that they are marking it up so high and that the manager was so indifferent to me about it. I really hate the California customer service model where businesses and their employees think that they are doing you a favor. I can and will take my business elsewhere and suggests others do the same. read more

The service is so bad it is preventing me from ever walking into this establishment again. The few teenagers they have working there have NO idea how to run a shop unattended. I waited for someone to even acknowledge me, considering there were3 employees and not one other customer in the shop, this was pretty bad. In addition, one employee said I needed to wait because she was making food for herself. The other decided to chat the entire time, even turning off the juicer to continue his conversation with his colleague while he was making my drink. And any extra juice thats made with your order? The employee drank it! You would think good customer service would call for them to give me the remainder of my drink. Horrible horrible horrible. read more

Love this place! My favorite is "The Zone" smoothie. I highly recommend it if you like peanut butter. Delicious! MIXED REVIEW! Great staff and friendly service, however the store policy's by the owners are ridiculous. Ordered a M "the zone" and added extra whey scoop, obviously it's gonna be more than the 20oz. I PAY for the extra whey scoop. But they only give me the 20oz. And have to throw the rest away because it's "store policy" doesn't make any sense. THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE ADDRESSED AND FIXED. And when I didn't understand her because she was speaking so fast, she looked at me like I was stupid. Her multiple eye rolls to an older person (let alone a paying customer) is disrespectful. She also argued with me. Really? Is this how you treat customers?! This is my first time here. Thanks for not helping me & rushing me through. Needless to say because I was treated so badly & embarrassed in front of other customers, I had to get a refund. i visited on a busy Saturday afternoon. place is quite small. love the atmosphere and welcoming staff who were very attentive to every customer. however, we are in a pandemic and we should be very cautious daily, hourly, and personally. There is a drink holder display that operates like a lazy susan. the associates make your drink, put it in the display holder, spin it around for the customer to grab drink and go. Less contact, yes! this display is touched and manipulated by each associate and every customer. There was no hand sanitizer in the lobby area. I never seen an associate wash their hands during my 30minute visit. To cut down on the germs being spread here at this facility, we need to practice hand hygiene often, disinfect the drink display often, and put hand sanitizer in lobby area. read more

I went to this location and ordered a smoothie with chocolate. I was charged a dollar extra for it. When the girl at the register repeated the order, she didn't tell the girl making the drink that it was supposed to be made with chocolate, so I repeated to the girl at the register over the sound of the blender, "with chocolate too." I left for about 5 mins, then I noticed the girl at the location didn't add chocolate. When I explained that the drink didn't contain the additive, she insisted it did. The drink was pink; I order the same drink all the time and it's a chocolatey color. When I tasted it, it tasted exactly how it does when I order it without chocolate. She told me in a sarcastic way she'd make the drink over ( not a new drink) she asked for my cup, so she could pour the contents of my drink back into the blender and add chocolate. She started to argue with me about how she added chocolate and how they don't issue refunds, but she'd be happy to make it over again. She was trying to send a subliminal message by being caddy, overbearing, animated, and loud in front of other customers. As I refused her offer to remake my drink (with the same contents that was in the cup) because of how she treated me, she loudly yelled, "have a nice day." I walked back in to get her name and with the same demeanor, she yelled her name is Allison and for me to have a nice day again. She tried her hardest to embarrass me. It could have been miscommunication about the drink initially but the fact that she didn't want to be wrong and the way it was conveyed to me is what upset me. She was very disingenuous and passive aggressive in handling the situation. Allison lacks effective communication. She has a lot of growing up to do. I'm an older woman. Kids of today lack so much respect for adults. Making a smoothie shouldn't encounter these types of problems, after all you're only in there for 5 mins and some unhappy young girl is trying to ruin your day by turning smoothie making into rocket science to feel some type of importance, with a corresponding rotten attitude. I mean I totally understand that people have personal problems but don't bring them to work, and especially don't be rude to your customers. So this is what happened. I've been juicing for about 10 days and I am fairly new to this juicing lifestyle and I've heard that wheat grass is very healthy and filling. I came and ordered a fresh squeezed juice w/ a shot of wheat grass. He then asked me are you sure you want it it's going to taste nasty. Then I told him I had recently started juicing and have been trying different type of ingredients and they taste great. As he turned away he mumbled under his breath "well good for you." This is the most friendliest establishment of the franchise that I have been to, and I feel it is necessary to say that these people truly do not stand for whatever mistakes any past employees have made. The actions of others do not dictate the state or mind set that these people have. The service is very great with conversations to accompany me while I wait for my drink or bowl, these people do not deserve to receive hate based on careless actions taken by past employees because when they talk they are not hate fueled nor are they racist, I just feel like all of these rumors of these people supporting racism or, whatever else people make up are completely false.
