I've tried their matcha which was only okay for me but love their butterfly wintermelon and hokkaido milk tea. Service is always nice. I love trying new (to me) places…read more After checking on Yelp, I saw the Rising Phoenix seems to be popular, so I wanted to try that. Upon walking in, we were immediately told that the ordering kiosk wasn't working, so we waited in line. Not a big deal. The kiosk had a note on it that says they don't have the purple signature, ube matcha, or peptides. When I tried to order, I was told they don't have the rising Phoenix. The worker also thought they didn't have the Hokkaido milk tea. The number of things they were out of was frustrating, but we managed to find something to order then we waited off to the side. Inside is very small; there is one table (or two small tables that were pushed together) and a couple seats at a counter. The back hallway is blocked off with a sign saying they do not have public restrooms. The Okinawa milk tea (plus boba) was fine. Boba was very soft with almost no chew, and the drink was perfectly sweetened with a bit of a nutty flavor. It was nice and needed no adjustments. The passionfruit milk tea was VERY passionfruit forward and had a great tropical flavor. The boba didn't add much to this, and it is probably better with a different add on. The drinks were fine and staff were friendly, but this place was a bit further from home and they were out of so many things I'm not sure we would make the trip to come here. I like to support a small business though. Just frustrating when they have either run out or stopped selling so many things.

This is one of those places I'd recommend for a family day, a kid-friendly celebration, a creative date, or even a solo outing just to stretch your creativity. The staff was welcoming, patient, and really accommodating from start to finish. You can tell they care about creating a space that feels friendly and community driven. The painting itself is relaxing, but bring your patience. Pieces take time, especially if you want it to come out right. Also wear clothes you're not afraid to get a little messy. I'd definitely recommend bringing a little extra cash or change for photos because the moment's worth capturing. There was one drink I wasn't a fan of, but taste is personal so I'd still say try it for yourself. Overall, top notch experience and this is a place I actually recommend If this review was helpful, tap helpful. AB Teahouse has officially earned a spot as one of the best boba places I've tried. Now, I can't speak on consistency because this was my first visit. I know that's where some of the reviews seem to fall short. What I DO know is that the lady working around 8:30 PM on Wednesday did her thing! She was so kind and friendly. We ordered through the kiosk while she helped another party. Our drinks took a little longer than expected, but honestly I think she was back there crafting them to perfection. I got the Snowy Longan Jasmine ($7.45) with boba. It's a jasmine tea latte infused with sweet longan fruit then finished with a smooth creamy foam. I've had jasmine tea. I've had longan in my drinks. Putting the two together with that cream top was completely new to me. The jasmine gave it that floral tea flavor while the longan brought in the sweetness. The boba had the PERFECT chew too. This drink sold me. We also got the Oreo Shake. This tasted exactly how an Oreo shake should taste. No cheap shortcuts or off-brand cookie flavor. It tasted like America's favorite cookie to dunk in milk, just blended into a yummy frozen drink.

When I walked in, I tried to say hello and ask an employee a quick question about one of the drinks. Instead of responding, he simply pointed at the self-order kiosk without saying a word. A simple greeting or taking a few seconds to answer a question would have made a huge difference. Great drinks can only carry a place so far--hopefully the customer service improves because the products themselves are worth coming back for.

There wasn't anyone else in the store so I didn't think they'd mess up the order. I should've checked but also, the workers could have simply listened when I told them I had 3 orders and also to have read the order clearly to make sure they didn't get one of them completely wrong.
