I used to love this place, now, I'll come here if there's nothing else nearby. It's on the pricey side, and the service is only ok. Once I asked to have apple removed from one of the drinks, and the person helping me sarcastically responded back to me almost questioning my request. This place is pretty small but a must go if you're looking for something nutritious and fresh. Your standard juices and smoothies although I like the combos here a lot better than other places . What excited me was that they sell young Thai coconuts here for only $4, need I say more. And side note the employees here are so incredibly nice! Really friendly staff is always a plus for me and since it's such a tiny place it could get crowded easily but the line goes by fairly quick. I believe there's only 2 seats here so good luck trying to get a seat but this is definitely a more quick grab and go trip since all that is available are smoothies, juices, some bakery goods, brand juices and coconuts really. I got acai but I suggest adding something extra with whatever you choose, never had the food here but the baked goods look promising for next time. read more

Got a Protein Buzz smoothie with plant protein - it tasted great! I loved the customer service. The workers there are patient, especially if it's your first time ordering with them. What I wished was different is that my smoothie turned out to be more like a juice. It wasn't as viscous as other smoothies should be - very watery. read more

This review is not about the juices they sell but the food. The salads and sandwiches are great and not overpriced. The chicken salad and the avocado salad are very tasty. So when I am running late or don't feel like cooking I know i can grab one of those and be satisfied (providing they haven't been sold out!) As for the juices, smoothies etc... the WORST customer service ever! Horrible staff that doesn't know how to do anything and when their mistakes caused us to have to pay an extra $150, no one cared. My fiance went to pick up two 3-day cleanses. The service was so SLOW that we got a ticket where the car was parked. On top of that, when we got home and already put the car in the garage, the order was wrong (we asked specifically to replace spicy lemonades with coconut water) and we only got half the order (1 cleanse). When I called to complain I actually was told it was because the manager wasn't in so they got confused. We were told to go back, and when we did the answer was there was nothing they can do and they refused to change out the spicy lemonade. Why make a customer go back if you're not going to do anything?!? read more

Found this place while exploring the city, and what a gem. I stayed in NY for about 3 days and literally got this about 5 times during my stay. They have amazingly fresh smoothies, juices, and bowls. My favorite is their acai bowls, which are also customizable! It's hard to find fresh, tasty acai bowls on the east coast, and lets just say I was dreaming about this place in my sleep since I first had it. read more

Smells fresh as a daisy and is clean. one suggestion.. let customers get their own straws instead of letting staff give the straws, because 9/10 times they forget and we're left waiting.. so get a napkin/straw station to save us all that lil bit of hassle! otherwise.. amazing! read more

Hallelujah! A juice oasis in Hell's Kitchen!From out of town and was in dire need of a healthy dose of juice to reset from all the pizza and gourmet overload that the city has to offer. They offer both fresh pressed juices and packed ones to go. They also have a freezer case of all natural, raw and vegan grab and go food selections (cashew cheese ravioli, kale salads, chia seed pudding) I ended up buying a whole bag of goodies to stock up at the hotel: a few Super Citrus C's and a Very Veggie, a few shots to go (the E3 live and the vital shot) and a few gluten free cookies. Also picked Health Warrior Chia protein bars I've been dying to try. Got a Hale to Kale freshly pressed and a PB acai bowl and wow, I'm in heaven! The kale juice was super light and citrus-y, so tasty especially for a green juice. The PB acai bowl is a perfect light breakfast packed with protein, crafted with quickness and attention to detail (my bananas and cocoa nibs were expertly placed, I would have taken a photo if I didn't inhale it as fast as I did). Great service too. So lucky to find this place. read more

I really enjoyed my Very Veggie juice from Juice Generation today. It was a little too sweet for me, but I enjoyed the bit of a kick from the ginger. A large was over $10 after tax, which seemed a bit steep, especially for non-organic ingredients. I'm excited to come back and taste more of the juices and smoothies. read more

This review is based on the panini and orange juice only. The orange juice was a decent and it was $5 a cup. The panini was disgusting. It had no flavor! The chicken was dry. It felt like they just microwaved some frozen chicken breast to make the chicken panini. I had to add lots of pepper and sea salt to make it edible. The service was mediocre at best and the place is tiny! A friend told me the smoothies and hot blends are good but i didn't try it and will never go back to try anything else. read more

I am not sure how this location gets such high ratings. Maybe the quality went down hill but i was the first person to order a juice in a line of maybe 6 people. It took about 10 minutes for the guy to prep my drink while ordering the other employees to stop standing around. Everyone moved at a snail pace and at least 2 employees verified with the customer "this is what you wanted right?" Umm.. yes it says so on the receipt. I have never encountered a more incompetent group of staff on a busy day. Finally after 25 minutes of standing around a small confined space while more customers walked through the front door.. i got my supa dupa green juice. Apparently finding all the correct ingredients were too difficult because he gave me a small when i ordered a large and proceeded to juice some more apples to fill up my cup. Sigh... a very very disappointing experience. People have places to go and i even missed my uber ride because I expected a 10 min wait tops. This place makes a really solid smoothie, and the service is always friendly, prompt, and accommodating. I will say though, that after reading a lot of positive reviews of their acai bowls, I was excited to try it this morning but was sorely disappointed. The blended fruit part of the Aloha Acai bowl was an unappetizing grey-purple color and was too loose and sloshed around a bit during my 3 block walk. I've had other acai bowls that had a much denser, thicker fruit blend in a brighter, cheerier color. Plus the price of this bad boy was pushing $10, which was far too much for what I actually received. Although I don't think I've found my acai bowl spot in this city, I'm glad they are at least reliable for smoothies. read more

Very small so not much room to hang around there was only a counter with 2 seats. Very clean and quick service. I had the supa dupa greens juice and it was just how I like it and extremely fresh. Visited this place during a recent lunch break. I had The Watermelon Pina with a dash of ginger which tasted great. They have a huge selection of fresh juices, both fruit and vegetable.....and if you just happen to be nursing a cold you'll find ample varieties to soothe your throat and give you a little kick. Not so impressed with the tuna sandwich, it lacked flavor and it was expensive. As other reviewers have noted they have a couple of bar stools by the window so don't plan on eating/drinking in. Service was efficient and the guys behind the counter know the menu. Just ask if you have a concoction in mind, they will probably be happy to serve it. read more

no idea why someone else said the staff was rude... they're always friendly to me. i travel a lot, so i'm in the City all the time. for different work/friend things, i tend to be at the actors studio a lot, and this J.G. basically around the corner. love them. they remember me every time i come in, and genuinely seem to be happy to see me. lol.. honestly the smell of a J.G. is one of the reasons i love it so much. i'm instantly happier when i walk in the door. try the peanut butter acai bowl. heaven. and i'm the biggest fan of the daily detox and the protein buzz smoothies... i do the cooler cleanse at least every other month, and due to my job i'm not always sure where i'll be located. it's awesome being able to walk in and pick up my juices.. def worth five stars, but they need a bigger space. the hell's kitchen one is always packed and it sometimes takes a good bit of time to get in and out. expand please! haha read more
