Judy's is a legendary institution for breakfast in Bangor. Only there can you walk in at the crack of dawn and find the bar full with regulars enjoying their liquid breakfast. For those with a liver the more standard breakfast is pretty good. The prices are reasonable and you can order a variety of egg combinations. Judy's English muffins are addicting I think because they toast them on the grill. Service is fast and this place has a wonderful dive bar nostalgia.

This unassuming neighborhood spot serves a fine breakfast! Service is swift, the coffee's hot and the Judy's Breakfast Special--eggs, meat, potatoes and biscuits--filled me up! Two thumbs up!

Full bar, even for breakfast!

This is definitely a locals spot! Hard to find a spot where you can order breakfast and drink a beer at the bar at 0800! The waitstaff was attentive and made us feel like locals - Food was decent and they had a good menu selection.

There were two hosts to greet me upon arrival. The space can be a little tricky to find if you've never been before.. if facing restaurant from the street you need to go to the right of it in a little alley way like spot and door is on your left in that space. The ambiance is upbeat and medium loud. Medium to dim lit with 7 or so spots at the bar and then tables near window or in dining room. There are wine, beer, and cocktail options. I had a blackberry cocktail with egg white, blackberry compote and gin. It was very good. Not too sweet or sour and light and fresh. The customers varied from older couples to dad and their kid to people in their early to mid 30's.

The service was great! Absolutely no complaints with that. I had the fish of the day which was Miso…read moremaple salmon over rice with green beans and it was delicious. When traveling for work, I try to get food that I would cook for myself at home and this was that kind of meal. The one "odd" thing was the insane amount of salt on their fries. They were fried perfectly, shoe string like, but I had to take my fingers and dust off the salt. I love salt! But they were WAY over done. Otherwise this is a nice spot. I will come back next time I'm in town.

The temperature in the dining room was about the same and despite a large number of customers wearing their coats at the tables, the staff did nothing to remedy the situation. The place was clean and cute, dog-themed and decorated for Halloween, and the menu is basically all burgers, salads and sandwiches. We split a classic naan breadsticks, which turned out to be a naan flatbread pizza that tasted and looked like a crappy frozen pizza from a gas station. We also shared a classic cheeseburger that was pretty good; definitely above average and comparable in taste and size to Smashburger. The men's room was clean, service was okay, and that's about it. Prices were comparable to other places in the area, but given the uncomfortable HVAC, waitress upsell, and lousy, inauthentic naan we won't be going back.

It is a narrow space, but it seemed like a larger one. The food was excellent. I got a gouda burger and ended up taking half of it home. The app filled me up--four nice sized egg rolls stuffed with reuben ingredients. Yummy! The only sticking point I had was the unfriendly service. When I thank a person for every little thing they do, I kind of expect at least a smile. Not happening. Perhaps if I had bought alcohol it would have been friendlier? That kind of is off-putting. Nonetheless, great food.
