The entire place is dotted with fun graphics that are super cute but not gawdy. The doctors are really nice and expressed their gratitude for being able to provide specific healthcare for children, which I think is often overlooked with new medical practices. Most places are designed with adults in mind or at best the general public. Here's a really nice amenity: They can do their own x-rays, so kids can stay in the comfort of an office designed for them rather than being shuffled around to different places.

I got off the phone with them earlier about changing an upcoming appointment due to a prior obligation I didn't know about and the girl up the phone was unbelievably rude to me and hung on the phone after my appointment had been cancelled and I confirmed I didn't want to reschedule right now. I tried to inform her we were going to look for a new pediatrician because this kind of attitude and the situation with the hours being wrong is very inconvenient (they don't open until 2:30 on Wednesdays now apparently) to working parents. I realize this is their job, to sit in a cushy office all day answering phones or watching parents fill out paperwork, but the attitude has throughly spoiled me for ever recommending them. Get new girls at the front desk. It's unfortunate the quality of care is decent, but the office staff obliterated whatever good will I had for Glow Worm. I'll only be in contact with them again to move her medical records to a different office.

BEWARE: Cold Insensitive Staff and Manager…read more It's about their toxic culture and attitude rather than the grace period excuse they are holding on to. Unable to see a child in pain and experts in bad behavior towards parents scheduled an appointment for 11:30 AM. It was entered in their system as 11:15, and I -- the parent who booked it -- never received a confirmation. We arrived three minutes past the grace period for a time we hadn't agreed to, and our sick toddler was refused care. My child was in visible pain with a worsening infection and was never assessed or even looked at. No other physician was offered, no referral, no urgent-care suggestion. The front desk and office manager spent the time arguing with us about the clock rather than showing any concern for the sick child in front of them. This wasn't a one-off. Getting a timely sick visit with the MD has consistently been difficult, despite the practice advertising same-day sick visits. Zero compassion. If you need a pediatrician who will actually see your child when they're sick, look elsewhere. We've moved our care.

As I was leaving, I saw Dr. Gray walking toward my room. He said he was about to come in, but he already seemed upset and flustered and from the moment he spoke, I could tell something was off. He didn't ask what was going on or why I had stepped out. He didn't give me even a moment to explain how I was feeling. He asked two rushed questions, barely listened to my answers, and shut me down when I tried to speak. He looked in my ears and then told me, with no empathy at all, 'There's nothing we can do. You can call ENT and Google exercises at home.' It felt dismissive, cold, and completely unprofessional. What hurt me the most is that my blood pressure was extremely high dangerously high and he treated it like it didn't matter. I know I have to be responsible for my health, but he is a doctor. Why choose a profession centered on caring for people if you are unwilling to actually care? I was not rude, not difficult, not disrespectful, yet I was treated like an inconvenience. I could have walked out of that clinic in a medical crisis, and he didn't seem to care at all. As I was leaving, he said, 'Your blood pressure is a little high, try not to stress,' and then chuckled. That moment broke me. I felt small, dismissed, and completely uncared for. I work incredibly hard. I'm in school finishing a master's program in clinical mental health. I am not illiterate, I am not unreasonable I was simply asking for help with my health. And Dr. David C. Gray absolutely failed me today. I left feeling angry, sad, and scared. We called at 4:15, it's just after 5pm, he has already been here and gone. He was very thorough and listened attentively. I walked out of my house and into the clinic in my slippers, didn't even have to get dressed or load up all the kids so that alone was amazing. He said he goes within like a 30 mile radius of SouthEast Round Rock which I thought would be super helpful for others to know. The price was extremely fair in my opinion, we paid $70 for the visit and $10 for an oxygen monitor piece, so $80 and I didn't have to go anywhere!!! He even called in the Rx before he pulled out. I love that I saved myself probably 1-2 hours of driving and waiting in an office full of other sick people. I loved how clean the RV/Clinic was and loved how nice Dr. Herrera was. She is thorough and proactive with her healthcare approach. She also stays current on the healthcare industry to ensure you get the best care and most current protocols based on ethnicity where relevant. This sets her FAR apart from other physicians in the area. I would drive a million miles to see Dr. Supkay. Setting up appts, request of refills, insurance is all an ease due to the excellent attentional to detail & communication. They also have an amazing patient portal which makes communication with Dr Supkay & her nurse very easy. You can also make refill requests & get lab results from the portal. I absolutely LOVE that Dr Supkay does NOT keep your lab results hostage. As soon as CPL completes them, Dr Supkay allows us to see them. And she follows up to discuss of course.
