Once the design was agreed upon, we were given a price and a start date. We felt so comfortable with Bryan and his staff that we didn't even explore other bids once we had the design (which the customer owns) in place. Bryan, the owner, is very patient and knowledgeable and gives you the feeling that all the details will be taken care of. The contract was written with the amount of detail that the customer appreciates, especially with a project that involves so many elements. We especially liked working with Jonathan, our project manager, who always kept us informed and responded to our inquiries in a timely manner. We also found the employees to be extremely hard-working and friendly. They left the property clean after each work day. We would use this company again for our next landscape project.

We started with a Zoom consultation where I was able to walk him through the property and the scope of the project. Bryan is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to, making the whole process seamless. What stood out most was his professionalism and transparency. Even when our Zoom connection dropped, he called me immediately to finish the conversation without missing a beat. He was also very honest about the value of different tree sizes, guiding me toward the right functional solution rather than just pushing the most expensive option. It's rare to find that level of integrity!

To be honest, it really restored my faith in landscaping contractors. I submitted an online request for a quote and the next day Mike emailed me requesting pictures of what our project wanted to include. Originally we just wanted to pull out our front yard plants and redo just the front but there is a $5000 project minimum. After deciding to redo our turf and also include our backyard, Mike came out the next week for a free in person consultation and got me a detailed quote within 2 days. The turnaround time for everything was just amazing, I've never seen anything like it. Our lot is about 3615 sq ft to give a reference point. Our project included: all the labor to demolish/uproot all of our plants including a very large 20 year old tree in the backyard + all the roots (completed in 2-3 days), redid our front and backyard turf (completed in 2 days by Backyard Golf Company), added a veneer stone and cap on our retaining wall (1 week) and replanted all our plants/installed a drip sprinkler system/installed lighting front and backyard (1 week). We have an HOA and Mike had a complete detailed plan and diagram ready for us within 3-5 days. Once HOA got back to us, the project was started within a week and finished in the estimated time frame. Workers came promptly at 8 AM and they were actively working all day not just sitting around. Very respectful, even blowing all the dust at the end of the day to keep the area clean, no garbage left anywhere. The entire project was $30,000 and there weren't any surprise or unexpected costs. Invoices are sent every week on a reasonable schedule and I just loved our experience. I'd recommend Seabreeze to anyone wanting to do their hardscape landscaping in a heartbeat!

We got quotes from 3 highly rated Orange County landscaping companies, and learned in the process that our home did not have an irrigation line setup. These were a summary of the different companies responses: Company 1 (Most expensive estimate): "Getting water will be tough, I will build you a quote in 2 DAYS." Company 2 (Second most expensive estimate): "We can't get water, you will have to water them yourself." Hillside Pavers (Best value estimate): "We will figure it out. Here's the estimate and AI visual of the hedges in your backyard. We can start first thing on Monday and be done in 2 days." Hillside Pavers, specifically Project Manager/Designer Heather, her crew, and Administrator Valentina, is the team you want to work with. There's the basic pluses of a very well-valued estimate and a beautiful job done, and then there's the extended pluses that turn a project into an experience.  Heather on the design/project side and Valentina on the administrative/finances side listened to our project's needs, not only during the estimate's beginning stages, but throughout the project, all the way through to the final payment method. Both Heather and Valentina have genuine hearts, and as a team were very willing and extremely kind to accommodate our needs throughout the entire experience. As a pregnant stay at home mom with a young son, I felt more than comfortable and taken care of, and happy to be working with other women in this field as other quotes I had gotten were from male dominant companies that showed different in their correspondence.
